Description of Work: They repaired outside the chimney and checked for gas leaks. Turned on one of the fire places checked the other. They were just wonderful. Very happy with their work, and we'll call them back in the future .

Description of Work: Dr. Flue is very professional and provide quality service.Corey and all the staff they sent out were very polite, helpful and professional. They took pictures of their work both before and after. We had our chimney repaired inside and the brick work and cap done on the outside. We feel confident that they have done a quality job and that they would stand behind their work if something was amiss. We have had inexpensive but shoddy work done in the past; we feel confident that the work done by Dr. Flue has made our home safe for years to come.

Description of Work: WHAT DID THEY DO? |-Install 7" CUSTOM LINER FOR BOILER AND WATER HEATER (LINER: THIMBLE RELINE 7" OVAL) |· Disconnect appliance(s) from the chimney |· Create a common thimble for both appliances to enter the chimney lining, as needed. |· Remove any existing blockages in flue as needed for liner passage |· Install a lifetime warranty stainless steel lining from the common thimble, to the top of the flue |· Replace connector pipe(s) as needed to connect appliances(s) to new lining system |· Seal around the lining at the top and bottom of the flue |· Install a lifetime warranty rain/animal guard as required by the manufacturer |· Job site cleanup |HOW DID IT GO? |Excellent. They are very reliable, professional, knowledgeable and organized! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately, it will take a few weeks to get this review removed. There is no indication of any contact with this homeowner. This homeowners possibly has us confused with the different competitor we realize that our branding of our company is significant. . We have never been at this address, nor have received phone calls from this individual. We understand this happens from time to time, It is unfortunate that it would find its way to our file. We have contacted Angie's list, my rap, and is looking to get this review removed. This review is not an indication of the lack of response by our company. I apologize to the reader, we have had this happen before, it just takes time to get the review taken down when there is a misconception or a misrepresentation. ~~doc~~

Description of Work: Called Dr. Flue to come and give estimate for lining chimney which they did. Estimate was given as one sum which seemed high. When asked for a breakdown ie, labor, parts and how long it would take to complete, Dr. Flue refused and stated " no company gives a breakdown of price." Also, man who came to give estimate trashed work just done to repair chimney top which was done by another company. Unprofessional, condescending and rude so we did not use.

Description of Work: We have used Dr. Flue for seven or eight years now for annual chimney and fireplace care. We have found them to deliver what they promised with polite, professional and timely service. Our only issue has ever been that they are very booked up, so you cannot get an instant appt. |We purchased a 40 year old home in October and hired them to do an inspection and -- if needed -- cleaning. Unfortunately, their inspection found that the chimney is defective and cannot be used without a new liner. We are deferring that work for a later time so are not enjoying the fireplace this year.
