Description of Work: Two technicians showed up. They introduced themselves, put on protective gear over their shows and explained what they would be doing. They then inspected the flue of our woodstove from the roof, showed us the results, which in turn showed considerable creosote build-up, and we approved the cleaning procedure. Such procedures are necessarily messy, but they kept the mess to a minimum. The inspection and cleaning were fairly expensive, $ 300, but worth it to us for peace of mind, and for the fact that the flue consequently draws much better.

Description of Work: Cleaned fireplace chimney, replaced chimney cover top. Measured for fireplace replacement face. In Jan. 2016 called 4 times and finally got an e-mail response form technician with quote that was 70% higher estimated cost and was not the design or options discussed during measurement.

Description of Work: Ordered an inspection and cleaning of my chimney and wood burning stove insert. Their inspection was very thorough. They scoped a camera through the chimney and provided us with the pictures. They described the things they found that needed remediation and provided a quote for the work on the spot. Due to the state of the chimney, they did not do the cleaning and only charged us for the inspection.
