Excellent experience. Dr Flue allowed me to submit detailed photos, of the chimneys requiring new crowns, from which they provided a written proposal. Saved me the cost of an estimate service call. Very professional proposal sent to me via e-mail with photos of the completed job emailed as well. Keron showed up to work a little early & was very professional. I really had a great experience with this company.

I miss having a fireplace, but we were not able to get one. The inset that was installed has been a good alternative. We have not seen much change in our heating bill, but there was a small difference. We have to learn how to use it more practically. The company was fine. The owner of the company was very available to us, and that impressed me a lot.

It was okay. The only reason I had any reservations was because the chimney was clean, but there were cracks in many spots and they gave us a large estimate for the repair. They claimed that there was a chimney fire, but we have been living here for ten years and not experienced that. Their work was really good, but I just was a little put off by their presentation for repairs and information with my insurance company.

They inspected the chimney and said it did not need cleaned. They didn't close the damper and it was open all winter..which caused us a heat loss. We were not pleased with that. Other than that they were courteous and professional.

They did an excellent job. The system that the worked on was built by a company that was no longer in business, so they actually had to some running around and making contacts to find new flue part that it needed. I really appreciate the work that they did. The guy that did the work was certified to in chimney field and he was very competent. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would recommend them.

We use them regularly and they come out twice a year. We have been customers of theirs for over ten years. We have been very pleased with them; they do a good job. They show up when they say they are doing to, do the work, and they are gone.

The final work looks perfect. There were no unexpected costs or issues at all. They removed all trash as was outlined in the contract. Highly recommended...and competitive pricing. This was an entirely pleasurable experience with no gotcha's. Their phone communications and email were both excellent. They initially provided a rough estimate based on photos I emailed to them so I had an idea of how much the work would cost.

Dr Flue was a pleasure to work with. They were easy to schedule and called ahead to give me an exact time for the service call. The service technicians displayed a large volume of knowledge and they did not undertake any services they did not feel were required at the time. All photos and videos from the inspection is given to the customer on a flash drive for future reference. A very easy and honest company to do business with.

They inspected two chimneys and cleaned only the one that needed it. They also helped me by detaching the surround/insert so that it could be painted/repaired at no additional cost. Very good work.

They did what they said in a prompt professional manner and left job site spotless.

They showed up exactly on time, clean and professional looking. They took extra care not to track dirt into the house, which, since it was raining and quite muddy outside, was very appreciated. They walked us through the inspection and cleaning, and gave us a USB memory stick with photos of the entire job. They noticed that the top of our chimney needed some repair work, and provided an estimate. They also noticed that the log set was in a bad state of repair, and needed to be replaced. Several of the ceramic logs were missing or misplaced, and the soot built up on the existing logs indicated improper (and dangerous) use. They provided a catalog of replacement sets, and also offered to do the installation at a later date. All in all, a very professional, very courteous company. When all you want is a working fireplace, this is the company to call.

They do chimney sweeps, chimney repair and chimney inspections. I was highly impressed as was my friend who recommended them. I had some damage in my chimney so I am very glad they came out. They had a camera on a long thing that went up all 2 1/2 stories. One of the flues was perfectly fine and the other flue had what scared me to look at. I had noticed a warm spot on the wall behind the chimney. I had thought that I didn't remember it getting hot there and there was damage that could have caused a fire in the house. I was very impressed that they found the damage. I watched him do the camera inspection right on the computer. You could see a hole where the brick had moved. I am going to have them put a new liner and insert in. He was very professional and knowledgeable. They had up to date equipment. They were clean and did a good job. They immediately put those little things over their shoes when they walked in which impressed me. There were two guys that came and they both put the things on their shoes. They were incredibly professional and I was impressed. They will be coming back to do the installation of the insert and the liner. They were slightly more than I've paid in the past but I got more.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY CAME ON TIME. THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY WERE VERY QUICK BUT, THOROUGH. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WHEN THEY WERE DONE.
