The whole experience was excellent. He did a thorough inspection with video. He stated my chimney did not need to be cleaned. He also emailed me video of my chimney. A great and trusted service.

Mike was prompt, friendly, and informed. We just purchased our home and Mike instructed us on the proper operation of the fireplace as well as ensuring that all parts were working correctly. He brushed off our gas logs, replaced the sand that was missing from the bottom of our fireplace, checked for gas leaks, and checked out the top of the chimney. Mike rearranged the gas logs to create the best fire scene possible by taking into account where the flames were passing in relation to the logs. Truly he is an artist and my wife could not be happier with his attention to this detail. There is no doubt in my mind that Mike is a chimney specialist. He is obviously dedicated to his profession and really impressed the whole family with his knowledge. Mike was able to speak intelligently about the model of our fireplace and explain the inner workings of the fireplace operation in great detail. He was the first person to have an intelligent suggestion as to what the mysterious light switch next to the fire place is for (a blower under the unit). Unfortunately, it was not for revealing a secret treasure room as I had previously hoped. His knowledge on the topics of chimneys was only matched by his affable personality. He took the time necessary to explain everything clearly and even had several pictures to go along with his explanations. Now I feel like an expert on my fireplace too! I believe that our lives have been enriched after his visit, and we will not soon forget the life lessons that he taught us. The only downside is that after he left my wife said, "Why can't you be more like him?" I didn't have a good answer for her, but I suppose we can't all be the king.

First, I love the fact that the company calls a few days ahead to confirm an actual time. not a time window. Jake arrived ten minutes early (past visits were two people) and set up runners through the house for easy clean up. He completed the work in about forty five minutes, and, as always, was very courteous and professional.

Nick arrived early and did a great job. Fixed a problem with lighting the unit, cleaned the fireplace and refurbished the unit. He also installed a new chimney cap to replace a damaged one that blew off during a storm. He was very thorough and explained all the work he performed. The price for the cap was a bit high, but other than that, all around great experience.

This company gives the impression that they are very professional but subsequnt inspections by 3 A rated Angie's list masonary contractors lead us to believe they were recommending repairs that were not needed.

Scoped the chimney and shared the results with us. Made suggestions for repair. Cleaned the fireplace.

I would give this company 10 stars and many A+'s. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. The were very considerate of our home putting down drop cloths and wearing shoe covers. Took lots of time explaining the operation of the insert and the remote control. I would highly recommend this company to all who have a fireplace. I forgot to mention they did a complete inspection, showing us pictures of inside the chimney and explained in detail their findings.

Nick arrived 15 minutes early; was time efficient, explained each step as he set up our new gas-lighted fireplace system. We are very well pleased and now wish we had done this sooner! It is beautiful!

Good service, but quoted services too expensive to go forward.

Told me it did not cleaning but flue was missing mortar joints & needed to be relined. Also, chimney crown need repair. Was very pleased with professionalism. Problem arose when I called & called office for explanation of contract before I signed & returned & never got call back.Believe they need new office help.

Jake was on time, very professional and although it was very cold outside, he went right to work. After he completed the job, Jake went over everything he did and then helped us with information about our gas fireplace in another room. Jake was very professional and wore booties to cover his shoes as well as laid a tarp down while cleaning the fireplace. No question we will use Doctor flu again for both our wood burning fireplace and our gas fireplace.

Jake and Caz were a little bit early and I wasn't home yet. When I arrived they were ready to start and completed the work quickly. I t looks good. PS I signed up to win their annual trip to Aruba. Wish me luck.

The whole process went very well. The payment that was made was for the diagnosis of the problem. The money was applied toward making the cap and also measuring the dimensions.

The owner came out and installed the stainless steel chimney cap so that we would not have a problem with water running down the vinyl siding and staining it. All went well! He did the work quickly by himself.

Were very professional and careful with installation of gas insert. Were very patient in explaining how to use it. There were weather delays for the installation.

They were on time - extremely polite and clear Re: the issue. I was very comfortable with them. They are the only ones I'll have back- when we can afford it.

I had to call multiple times to reach them. They never called back. When I finally got through they said they "inspect" the fireplace (new) and then charge 148$ for this inspection service to provide a quote on the installation. I called 2 other providers (Mr. Sweep and Schutz) recommended on Angie's list and they came out and provided free estimates and had a responsive answering service.

Perfect! Nick described everything he was doing. Educated me, reassured me and generally made me feel competent in operating fireplace.
