Description of Work: I was told I still had a piece of their equipment. I sent back two items and they said they received only one and they charged me almost two hundred dollars for it. They were going to send me to collections. I called about three times and wasted my time. I paid them rather then go to collections.

+ -1 moreService is good. Only complaint is a service call I experienced. I went to refer a friend through their "wow a friend" page, and the page was not operating properly, the page redirected me to call customer service. I called and was told to go to the web page, which of course I told them I already did. They ignored me and continued to walk me through the process of "wowing a friend" on the web page, I insisted over and over again that I had already done this. They continued to ignore me and kept trying to walk me through the web page. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. I eventually got so frustrated that I hung up. called back a different and spoke to another representative who helped me and got everything sorted out.

Description of Work: They installed a new line for Internet. I requested the cable line to go in a specific spot and the contractor do what I requested. I had some random cable in my backyard from previous owners. I asked him if he could remove it and he said that it's not their cable so he can't do nothing about it. Other than that, it took him less than an hour to hook an Internet line to my router/modem.

+ 1 moreIt costs $150 plus tax. We've got 15 meg internet speed. We have Ultra TV, but no premium channels. I like that they offer HD. I like that their call center people are based in United States and speak English. I like that they are professional and considerate on the telephone and responsive to customer concerns. I like those things. They cut certain channels that I enjoyed. They bundle and force people to subscribe to bundles of channels when the customer will not necessarily watch certain channels. So, I'm essentially paying for what I don't want. I can't do anything about it. The price goes up every year and then I have to call to ask for them to renew a discount.

Description of Work: got the new internet service from WOW. Although i liked the customer service but was not very impressed with the kind of modem and wireless equipment they brought. as a result i starting having wireless issues instantly. called them couple of times and the tech support asked me to reboot the modem which resolved the issue only temporarily. finally 3 days ago and called them again and this time the tech support completely removed all the wireless connection and could not resolve the issue over the phone. i had to use my own wireless equipment to get the things going. not only that, their tech support ended up removing my phone connection as well. i would have removed the service but had already tried comcast before and was not very happy. i guess there is no company out there with a technology that works for us. btw they are coming today to fix the wireless issue . i don't know if i should rely on their wireless or stick with mine that is working just fine.

+ -1 moreThey were very nice. However, my price has gone up almost $40 in about a year and a half. If you call and ask for a discount, they will not longer give you one. They used to be interested in keeping customers; not any more. If you want to disconnect, they simply do not care. Their attitude is "go ahead, we can't stop you. That is the basic response I've received from several supervisors. They would rather get a new customer at a price that is approximately $30 lower than give any sort of discount to a customer who has been with them for a long time. Very sad. I have been very happy with them until this point, but will have to leave, due to the their pricing.
Description of Work: The provider confirmed that my bill will be going up $14, and gave me a price on a single unbundled service, rather than a bundle.

+ 1 moreThey're fairly big. They're terrible. We've have them out a number of times. They don't even know how to fix anything. We've lost all kinds of channels because they refused to contract with whoever. They keep upping the rates.

+ 1 moreTheir customer service is the best. We haven't had any issues with them. When we call them, they take care of it. With regard to price, they are like everybody else. They raise the price, but when I always call them, they also reduce it too.

+ -1 moreA grounding wire had come loose from the cable box & we called to have it replaced. They gave us a date & time & took care of it in no time. We have been with WOW cable for many years & have been very satisfied with their service. When we had the East Coast power outage, they came out to check on customers. Since we had no power for days, they couldn't do much but promised to come back. As with all cable companies, the price has gone up but not too much. I feel that we get the best service for the price & don't intend to change.

+ 0 moreHave had problems with hooking up accessories and they stayed on the phone with me until same was complete which was about an hours and 1/2. Anytime I call they never ask is the bill is paid; unlike my previous carrier only want to know how they can help. Have had no billing errors with this company. I have firends and co-workers who also say with this provider due to their customer service.
Description of Work: WOW, I use internet, cable and phone. Switched to them because didn't like Customer Service with previous provider. Even if the cost is higher I will still with them because their customer service is excellent.

+ 0 moreIt went very well. Timely arrival, friendly, and seemed to know what they were doing.
Description of Work: I subscribed to WOW for cable and internet last week. The tech was exactly on time, efficient, pleasant and professional and asked if I had questions. He answered the questions clearly, without condescending to me. The company has a policy that their techs must wear disposable booties when working in a house, which I like very much. After a couple of days, I decided that I did not want the second cable box that came with the bundle. I made an appointment for them to come get it as I did not want to risk my non-tech ineptitude damaging their equipment. They did not charge me for either the initial installation (which I believe is standard) or the pick up. They were able to come out in only 2 days to do the pick up. I have only had the service a week, but so far the cable channels are as advertised and haven't seen any tiling or static yet.

+ 1 moreI think that Wow is very competitive and they have good customer service. The internet is pretty fast, they even offer upgrade if you need them but mine is fine for me. I got a cable box but I think I've got their basic package. and it includes DVR. I'm happy with them. The only reason I changed is I got a deal I couldn't refuse. I've never had any break in my service. I can call anywhere, I can talk as long as I want which is very convenient and I really like it. Everybody I talked to has been great. I will continue to use them as long as I can.
