It took them 3 times come out and do measurements. The last one that came out to do the measurement what's the installer and therefore he made a lot of changes to the previous two measurements that made it a better install. The actual installation took longer than they expected as they only had a three-man crew instead of the five-man crew they expected. It was a very hot day and the three gentleman work very hard. The only really disappointing thing is it they didn't even clean the windows or the frames after the installation.

Scheduling, coming out, everything was good. And they were the cheapest price for good window. The workers were very nice, very efficient, and very fast.

Install was quick and the installers were on time, however they were sub-contractors. From the commercials I was expecting a crew in Wallside gear with a Wallside van showing up. I was not overall impressed with the install, however. It seems...shoddy. The trim doesn't fit perfectly, like it was from the warped reject pile of Home Depot. Caulking was not neat, with a decent amount that smudged onto the windows that I needed to use a razor blade to remove. The outside looks horrible now that the new windows are not flush with the exterior, instead they stick out. I highly recommend paying more for a complete "full pull" and install company.

Darin provided quote and description of services, including company information, how windows are made in the factory, provided sample of window and explanation of how to clean, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He clarified any questions and provided excellent customer service. Ryan, and his crew (Sam & Alphonso) came to install the windows. They were prompt, courteous and professional. The existing windows were very old and took a lot of hard work to get them out. The crew completed this work positively and efficiently. All window areas were measured again before the install to ensure full compliance. The installation and clean up were to our full satisfaction. We had a few minor follow up items and Ryan called right away and scheduled to come out to address our questions,. He was again prompt and professional and provided complete explanations to our satisfaction., The crew was amazing from the beginning of the job to the completion. We would definitely refer, recommend or hire again!

The windows were installed by the company by a pervious owner. I called to have them come and inspect the all windows that they had installed. I let the customer service rep know this that took my call. The clerk then started by asking about which windows needed repair and taking notes. I then let them know (again) that I wanted all the windows looked over and that none of the windows that had been installed had been caulked. The rep let me know the cost of the service call was going to be $40.00; which seemed reasonable. No Problem. I asked when we could schedule an appointment, to which they needed details on what was wrong with each and every window to do the work order. I than asked, "So you are telling me that you won't look over all the windows/work that your company did?" (Then the clerk got short with me) and informed me that they "don't do that" and that "You have X number of windows listed, and we can only have the tech look at the windows that are put in the work order" I understand that the clerk was trying do their job, but wouldn't the company want to stand by all the work they did, not just the work placed on the work order? Not Pleased, I guess I expected better customer service. Not giving up on them, as we have the warranty; but I'll have my spouse call next time.

Sean and his crew was absolutely great, they were fun to be around and seemed to enjoy one another. They arrived promptly and and finished before dinner time, also the clean up was well done.

They measured more than once before windows were installed. Was not happy when we saw that there was quite a gap on either side of frame - they filled in with foam insulation and then put up moldings to cover that. I gauge how well a window is insulated when I go to put our blinds up and they are cold. We only did these two windows because of the cost and are planning to do the others eventually. My son had some new windows put in two weeks after us by a competitor of Wallside. I would use the other company - the windows my son had installed fit like a glove and have triple panes to maximize their efficiency. Update - April 12, 2016 Rec'd call from "owner" saying that they want to make things right. Was told someone was coming out to look at, haven't come. Feel draft coming from bottom of windows. Not happy. Would have to change the responsiveness on follow up to an "F". Not coming back again in future.

Showed up earlier than they thought so I wasnt quite home yet but that didnt stop them from starting. When I pulled in the drive at the time they said, they were all set up and starting to build frames. I was very impressed. They entered the house and put down plastic everywhere they walked and worked. The four crew members all knew what to to and their was no messing around. In and out in 3 hours! I thought it would be an all day deal. Cleaned up excellent and quality of work was excellent. Would and will have them back to do windows in sun room when ready.

All areas went very well. Estimate with salesman, appointment for measurements and installation. Install crew called and were on time. They took great care to cover all floors and any furniture in the work area. Crew of 3 worked well together and installed all 10 windows in 3 hours. Workmanship was professional and they took time to show me what they had done and how windows worked. I highly recommend Wallside Windows.

I thought Wallside windows would be the best value and cost, but they were not. I believe their window frames are hollow and I wasn't impressed with the company and their advertising which I consider very misleading. Have you noticed their TV commercials claim every week, that their current offer of 50% every window expires on Tuesday? They have been running that ad for a long, long time. They simply renew it each week I assume. And they offer 5 year FREE financing? Their salesman reiterated he couldn't guarantee the 50% off price past Tuesday. I planned on using the free financing but then I was told that there was a "cash discount" of $1,400, which meant that if I financed I would pay $1,400 in finance fees. They don't call it interest, but they get you if you want to finance. I went with D&W Windows which was cheaper and a better window quality in my opinion.

It was good. They left a few things that they had to come back for. They could have been a little more careful.

Everything went fine. Went with the upgraded glass, which they claim is the efficiency equivalent of a triple pane. Came out within 2 days for a quote, after a couple of other quotes, came back out the day I called to sign service agreement. They do require a third of the cost up front. Then scheduled for measurements the next week, and installation a month later. They could probably save time, by having the salesman do a more detailed measurement. luckily I work close to home and have the ability to run home. They do take a 4-6 weeks to get installed. They say because they're custom windows, which is great and all, but my windows are pretty standard size. One of the other places I called, said it would be done within a week, and for 700 dollars less. (He wasn't aware of the Wallside quote) The only reason we went with Wallside is the lifetime guarantee on the frames and seals, and 5 year guarantee on the glass. They were running a "buy one, get one" but that's just a marketing gimmick, they're roughly the same price all the time, they just change the names of the sale. They do use sub-contractors to do the installation, but they had 4 or 5 guys there at 8:30 am, and they removed the old windows, and installed the windows and flashings and were done by 1pm, which worked for me for 15 of them. They do require you to move furniture and wall hangings 4 feet from the area which is reasonable, and they do cover everything with palstic, keeping it clean. The lead tech even let me know to contact DTE Energy, since the windows are eligible for a 15 dollar a piece rebate. Something I think the salesman would have known. They only get a B on price, since they're not the cheapest, and they do give you the used car salesman pressure to sign on the spot, and do require a 1/3 up front. Also a B on Responsiveness, since it does take a month and a half to schedule installation, and set up a separate appointment for measurements, that only took 10 minutes. Again the salesman should be able to handle that. The other quote i received, the guy said they're standard windows and he could pick them up at the supplier that week. The guarantee is what won me on this one, Michigan weather can be brutal on windows. The other guys couldn't give a concrete guarantee, and I would have to contact the manufacturers on my own and mail in the request if needed.

They did great work, it was beautiful and we've not had any problems at all. The cleanup was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Wallside is definitely one of the best contractors I have ever hired. I was leery about calling them as I am not very comfortable with these companies that advertise on TV with the crazy commercials and always "have a sale". Based on a referral though we gave them a call for an estimate. The salesman was fine. We did get the "if you buy today the price will be....." sales pitch but it wasn't really high pressure. We also had already been looking around and had some other quotes so we had a price point in mind that we were willing to pay. We ordered the windows and were given an installation date a month out. Our installation happened on exactly that day. The installation crew was just wonderful. The crew called the morning of installation with the time they would arrive just like we were told they would. We had a crew of 8-10 guys working in the house for the entire day. Every one of them was very polite and professional. Pretty much the entire inside of our house was covered with tarps including the stairs and carpet. They took great care to make sure our personal items were well protected. Ryan and Riamo were the two foreman that I dealt with and they were both great. We had talked to our salesman about replacing a number of pieces of rotted wood around the windows. He said they would take care of it all. When the crew arrived Ryan said there were only two wood replacements detailed on the invoice when in fact we had a total of five. He said it was no problem they would take care of all of it and they did!!! I even asked them if they could wash a very large window for us that is probably 20 feet up at the top. They took care of it right away. I would definitely recommend Wallside and this crew in particular. They were great to work with.

The Wallside employees that come to your house are very nice and show up on time. It's the ones back at the shop/office that are the problem. My order was written correctly but what was delivered wasn't accurate. When I called the office to let them know the woman was so incredible rude I called back and asked to speak with a manager. He was nice but didn't live up to his word. He said the windows would be fixed at a day and time of my convenience. Nope, I had to take another day off work to get the proper window installed. You need a 35 year warranty when you buy their windows because they scraped the frames installing them and send you the wrong product. Wallside then continued to harass me because my windows hadn't been inspected. After I called the city, it turns out it was Wallside's fault the windows weren't inspected because they scheduled it for 3 months out. Like I said, everyone at the office seems to be incompetent even when you speak with a manager. BUYER BEWARE...

They were actually really good. They did what they needed to do. They were cleanly.

It went very well. It was raining, and they took about two hours to do the job. Everything was spotless when they left; clean up was excellent. The lady who did the measurements showed up right on time. The guys who installed the door showed up exactly when they said they would. They showed me how to work the door. I have used them for other jobs before. They give an additional discount to repeat customers. I am a highly satisfied customer.

You do need to watch when you replace windows because they take them all out of your house. So for the time that they are out, you have to either be prepared for weather if it is too cold or too hot outside or insects coming in. You just have to be prepared at the time of year when you are okay having holes in your house. Our interaction with them was okay. The windows are okay. There is some condensation. I would possibly use them again in the future.

Sales lady Gen was very helpful. We got 5 estimates and there was no games with her. "This is what it will cost for what you want. The man who came to measure windows, very professional just like Gen. And the guys at Wallside, Steve and Jim could not have been more helpful. We had a stain, (getting the right wood and stain for trim, situation). They could not have been more helpful and nice, they bent over backwards to solve it. The installers was just as nice. Scott, team leader and his crew, (don't know their names), just a great group of guys. So good and fast and polite and courteous. Clean up was above what I ever dreamed of. A great experience from start to end. I highly recommend Wallside.

The service and staff were prompt, and the workers were right on time. We have used them twice, and they have a 35 year warranty. With our other windows we had a problem with a seal breaking. They didn't even come out, they looked up the measurements, brought a new window out and installed it. They're an excellent company.

They installed new windows and the framing is good, but the trim on the outside is white, so I now need to paint it brown. The shutters had to be taken off and now have to be redone. Wallside Windows came out later and mounted newly painted white shutters on house and now trim matches shutters. Thank you Wallside Windows!

They sales guy that they have is really knowledgeable. He is just knew what he was really talking about. The workers did all in a day, so they had a number of guys working. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves.

The salesman came to our house 6-8 weeks before installation. He was chatty but straightforward. We had 2 other quotes that were both higher, one of which was subcontracted and the other we thought was overselling. One of the advantages to Wallside is that for windows, there is only one primary product, double-paned windows; there are no triple-paned or gas-filled options. The salesman took the initial measurements, then another guy came in a week or so later to confirm the measurements. The installation guys don't mess around. They came in at the time they were expected (about 8:00 a.m.), went straight to task, were polite, quick, and did a great job, and were finished in about 3 hours. They did very well cleaning up, too. Throughout the experience, they let us know what to expect and were spot on. The new windows look fantastic. Our only regret is not having them installed by Wallside earlier.
