The Wallside Salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. I had a major problem with one of the windows to be replaced - the frame had broken and I had a 1/2 inch gap to the outside world. All Walside windows are made to order with normal delivery 4-5 weeks. When the salesman saw my delima, he was able to get my order manufactured and installed in 14 days. The Wallside Crew was very professional, friendly, and efficient. They showed up as scheduled; they replaced 11 windows in less than 4 hours and they cleaned up any installation mess as they went along.

I was surprised by how quickly they were able to finish the job.

Wallside Windows are very proficient. They were in and out, clean and neat and everything ready according to the way we discussed. It was a good experience. They were professional.

I’ve got 2 steels doors in the back and they have been there for several years so I’m not sure who did the installation. I called Wallside to see if they could repair the glass. The receptionist that I spoke with was very rude and advised me that if they didn’t do the install, they would not repair the doors.

The two men that came out were pleasant and nice, and didn't make a mess. They were clean and neat. We didn't have our paperwork, but they found the warranty anyway. I couldn't believe they stood behind their gaurentee.

Justine and Sammy arrived on time and went to work immediately. They were very friendly and professional representatives of a reputable company with quality products They placed runners from the front door throughout the entire work area. We had 3 windows replaced in the downstairs living room and 2 windows in an upstairs bedroom. In about 3 hours the team of 2 removed the old windows and replaced with new ones. They replaced the inside wood trim, which I didn't expect but it sure looks nicer then the chipped wood they removed. The clean up was very thorough as if we didn't have workers in house. I was impressed with the teamwork during the process This is the third house we've purchased over the past 35 years and each time Wallside has replaced windows at each location. Once again we are a 100% satisfied customer. Their 35 year warranty is icing on the cake as they do honor that warranty. We love the look of the finished product and are proud when people ask whose window service we use. We didn't need Angie's list for this project but we do want others on the list to be aware of out positive experience with Wallside.

They were very prompt, efficient and after they were done you couldn't even tell they had been there. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

We visited the Novi Home Builders Show and purchased a Garden Window for our lake home. It was install with no problem, however very shortly after when we opened one of the side windows, they broke and we could not close it. Called technician who came out and repaired it. Very shortly after, the side window broke again and we were unable to close it. Called Technichian who came out and repaired it again. He said if it happened again it would be easy to repair and left us the part that kept breaking. He also had a couple additional parts mailed to us. The window broke again and we fixed it ourselves. It broke again and now we do not even open it eventhough we want the breeze. This window was a lemon and although was very pretty and loved how it looked, the customer should not have to repair it each time it is opened.

They did a good job. They are a local company.

I am very impressed with the quality of their work and some of my former colleagues liked the quality enough that they have called Wallside to also have siding put on their houses or garages. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great service. I sing their praises. The fellows that I had out are very good, professional and they explain things. He was timely, willing to explain what he was doing and also very friendly too. They cleaned up after themselves too and they are there when they say their going to be.

Several years ago, we had used Wallside Windows to replace all the windows on our house and were pleased with the work they did. So naturally, we thought about them when we needed new siding for the house. This was a very disappointing experience however. When we called, a saleman came out to estimate the job. He gave us the lowest price among the companies we contacted, including an offer for very favorable financing terms. However, he did not seem very knowledgeable about siding in general. We got the impression that he was more interested in landing a sale rather than our true needs. After interviewing other companies, we wanted to make some changes in the work order. The salesman promised to come back in a few days to review our changes but never showed up and did not even call to give a reason why. Needless to say we gave the job to a different company. I think we got a bad apple with this salesman so we would not rule out using the company again in the future.

old homeWallside offered an excellent experience, from the phone contact through measurement and installation. The employees I interacted with were unfailingly polite, knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. I can feel a huge difference already in drafts and general temperature maintenance. I was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the installers. They left not a scrap of trash behind. The salesman really knew his business. I really appreciated the frequent contact when measurers and installers were coming out to the house, and their punctuality was miraculous in this day and age. Overall a very good experience.

The crew who came for the install was very friendly. Answered my questions, cleaned up well, did a great job with molding and caulking. They did rip two screens during install, but Wallside was easy to work with to make the repair appointment.

The guy that gave me the estimate was very personable, very friendly. He did not try to give me the hard sell. I described the type of window I was looking for, he showed me some example, I picked the one I wanted and we agreed on a price. I made a down payment with a personel check and when the check cleared, which was the next day, he called and ask when could his workers start. Two days later the workers came, identified themselves, I called the company to verify, then let them in my house. The workers were very friendly and went out of the way not to make a mess. In an hour and a half the old windows were out, the new windows were in. I was shown how to remove them for cleaning or replaceing if necessary. I then gave the main worker a personel check for the remaining balance, he gave me signed paperwork along with a written garantee, we shook hands then they left. All-in-all it was a good experience with no problems.

Wallside installed nine windows with scratches, a crack, and a picture window with bubbles in it. They replaced the glass in the windows and damaged/cracked the corners in all the sashes when replacing the glass. They also replaced the picture window with a scratched piece of glass. The service man that damaged the sashes was rude, and when I pointed out to him the damage that he had done, he didn't care and responded by saying that they would just need to be replaced. They came back out again and replaced the sashes, and the picture window. They installed yet another picture window and smaller windows with scratches in the glass, and sashes with what I call flaws in the finish of the sash. Long story short, they tried to polish the sashes, replaced multiple windows due to scratched glass, and replaced a total of six picture windows. My sixth picture window was installed on November 14th, 2012. What concerns me the most is that this is only the cosmetics of the windows! Wallside needs better quality control. I would also like to mention that during one of my several conversations with Wallside, they advised me that they could take out ALL of my windows they installed and I could go with another company, when I had mentioned a possible refund, and having another company come out and provide me with a good piece of quality glass for my picture window.

I liked them because they were good and very efficient. They were clean and did not leave a mess behind.

From initial contact with Wallside, answering of questions, product demonstration and finally installation, everything was finished as promised and an exceptional clean-up after the project was done.We would never hesitate to use Wallside's products and services again.

We contacted Wallside for an estimate on vinyl replacement windows and their sales person Kathy Kramar came to our home to explain about Wallside and how their windows are manufactured and installed. We had a very pleasant meeting with Kathy and would work with her again. She gave us an installation date and that was the date the windows were installed. There were no delays and they were very prompt. The only disappointing thing about our experience was with the company Wallside sent to install the windows (Darrin Construction). All 17 windows were installed in one day which is great, but because there was a forecast for rain, we felt they rushed to get it done before the rain came. They did explain how to clean the windows and remove the screens before they left. While they were working we had gone around the outside of the house and they looked great. But we didn't actually do a close visual inspection of the windows until the next day and we found 5 screens with slits in them (they looked like this could have been done with tools during the installation). Although they cleaned up the debris from the window removal and vacuumed the area, they didn't clean the windows or frames. There were dirty hand prints and fingerprints on all the windows and window frames which I had to clean off myself. We also weren't happy with the way they left the aprons below some of the windows so far out from the wall we could put our fingers between the wall and the window apron. There was also one window that had a nail protruding from the window apron from the outside. In other words, it was driven in the apron from the outside and then covered with the trim. I discovered it while cleaning the window and scratching myself on the nail sticking out of the apron. We called Wallside the next day and they sent out someone to address our concerns. He was very courteous and took no time at all to replace the damaged screens and address our concerns about caulking, as well as to remove part of the nail protruding from one window apron. We were very pleased with his work and the response from Wallside to our concerns. We are happy with the windows and think they look very nice. We have no problem with Wallside Windows nor with their product, but I wouldn't want the same people who installed our windows to come back for anything.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the work.

Very Well Price was great and was done as was promised

They were responsive and gave us an accurate description of the service. They completed the work on schedule. I believe they honor the warranty on your windows even if you sell your home. The day of installation I decided on a last minute change and I called them and they were so kind about it.

The salesman (Tom) was fantastic. There was no pushiness and he really genuinely seemed to love what he does. He explained the different options, made recommendations and then talked to us about the price. The price seemed so reasonable, that at first I thought it was without the new back door and storm door. We also got full screens on the windows (instead of the normal half screen) and upgraded the hardware on the storm door. They came to do the final measurements about a week later. The windows were finished earlier than they said and the install was flawless. Two crews came out and did the entire house in half a day. Everything was cleaned up - you couldn't tell at all that a crew had been working there that day. The windows themselves are fantastic. The house is much quieter and they really do seem to keep the sunlight from heating up the house too much (at least compared to the old windows). My favorite part though is the storm door. When we ordered it, I assumed it would be a lightweight, sort of flimsy, storm door. And given the water damage to the door frame, I thought they were going to come back on the day of the install and up the price on us (not that I'm cynical about these things). As it turns out, the price quoted was exactly what we paid, even with the damage. And the storm door is about the heaviest duty door I've seen. We have kept the back door open with the air conditioning on and you can't feel any heat making it through that storm door. Next year, we will replace our double front doors and storm doors, and I can't wait to call Wallside again!
