Salesman provided me an estimate for 3 windows and a doorwall. After seeing the estimate, I asked for just an estimate/ best offer for the doorwall replacement. I felt the salesman minimized my needs. Seemed reluctant and put out that I would only want one replacement. Due to his attitude, I decided to use another company. Wallside had previously replaced another window at my house several years ago. I was very pleased with that service at the time . The installation crew was outstanding!

Nice windows at a fair price. Installers were quick, clean and courteous. They covered the floors and furniture with plastic before they started and did a thorough clean up when they were finished. Windows look great and seem to be well constructed. They open and close easily yet seal tightly with no heat transfer on hot, sunny days, which also means no heat loss in the winter.
Description of Work: Installed large picture window in living room, which consisted of large center pane with sliders on either side. Installed windows in three bedrooms, one double hung and two sliders. .

Sales rep was slightly pushy and "sales-man" like, but we did haggle price from originally quoted 9700 to 9300. Measuring and install crews were on time. Install crew was in and out in one work day. No problems with installation, other than the following: Left "goop" (probably silicon sealant) on some windows and frames. I called our sales rep a week later; he was completely unhelpful and said they don't wash the windows. Really? You leave the windows dirty and with silicon adhesive on the glass and frames? Also, there was a drip mark inside the double-pane window on the door wall. Impossible to clean since it was inside the glass. I called the service department. They said someone would call me back. No call back. I called again, left a second message. They called back. Scheduled service. Repair guy came out, switched out the bad glass in 30 minutes. However, he didn't come with tall ladder or right tools to clean up the windows. This was annoying, since I made the problem clear on the phone. I called again, scheduled another service appt. They came out, with razor blades, Goo Gone, Windex, and tall ladders, and finished the job. Time from installation to final cleanup: 2 months. Overall, unbeatable price, quick and quality installation, poor cleanup, poor follow-up service.
Description of Work: Installed a houseful of replacement windows. 21 windows total, including 1 doorwall and 1 conversion from doorwall to large window.

The cost is about $15,000 so far. We are very, very pleased with the overall experience. We did have some service work that needed to be done. They came out multiple times and there was no questions asked. Any concerns we had they took care of it immediately. They pretty much take over the house while there were there but the entire crew was very professional. The service crew was different from the installation crew and they were also very professional. They laid things out and did the clean out. They took a lot of pride in doing it. They are very cautious in our home both inside and out. They were in line with what other providers were offering. We actually went to a couple of hired contractors. A personal friend of ours was a general contractor. He could have offered the project for a higher cost. That’s ultimately why we went with this company.
Description of Work: We used Wallside Windows for windows. It was a 3 part project. We had them come out in 2012 and do 3 windows. We had them come out in 2013 and do 6 additional windows. Then we had them come out this year and do 10 additional windows. We still have at least 10 or more windows to go.

Really easy, no pressure process. They mostly cleaned up well. Found some glass from my old windows on my carpet. Old window pieces in my plants. Nice product. Didn't know they would have to put trim around window borders. Now I have to caulk, prime, and paint the trim around every window to match the rest of my trim. But overall it was good.

Contacted Wallside along with a few other window vendors to get quotes for replacing all of the windows on our house. The salesman that came out was very nice, explained the product but wasn't pushy. The thing that sold us the most was the 35 year transferrable warranty (that includes both parts and labor). We decided to go with Wallside for our window install. I would recommend staying away from the "free financing", it's not actually free, because the financed price is about 12% higher than the cash price. You're better off financing it yourself or just paying cash. Time from signing the contract to getting the install is around 6-8 weeks, so I have not had the windows installed yet, but the sales experience was positive, and the price was better than what I expected.

I had 14 Windows installed in 2006. Wallside has went above and beyond to make sure that as a customer I am totally satisfied with their products. They stand behind what they sell, and are concerned if you aren't happy. I highly recommend using this company if you are planning to install vinyl replacement windows. Go with the lift out style! Also, if you live in a newer cookie cutter subdivision like I do, where they don't put trim around the windows, I highly recommend adding the extension jambs around the windows, it was worth every penny that we paid, and our house now has a more custom built look to it.

We did have a communication problem with the salesman that ordered the windows. We take the blame as we signed the contract but we misunderstood the color of the windows. The salesman said how great the brown windows would look on our home with the brown gutters and trim. We were not aware that we ordered white windows in and outside with brown trim. We thought the windows were going to be brown. The owner handled the mistake and offered us $800 to take the white in and out windows or he would rush order the ones we wanted. Very good customer service. We took the rush order as I did not want to sit back years from now and regret the decision. Overall I would recommend Wallside. Very good workers.

The process was professional and painless from beginning to end. The salesman, J. Wilde was fast, responsive, and friendly; no pressure. They came back after the first measurements to measure a second time before the windows were made. Then the date of service went smooth. The estimated time of the service was about 6 - 7 hours; they were in and out in about 4 hours. There was no mess or even evidence that they were here; except for the beautiful new energy efficient windows. The installers were polite, fast, and even seemed to enjoy their job. They even asked if they could use the restroom. One guy actually asked permission to wash his hands after they completed the install. Finally the price was excellent. Our job would have cost $10,000, but we received a BOGO, bringing it down to $5,000. With special pricing, and a discount for paying without financing, we were able to afford it easily. We were even able to pay half down, and did not have to pay the balance until the installation was complete; we even picked the date.

The salesman was punctual and polite. He was thorough and answered all my questions. The company came out to get exact measurements a few weeks before. Then I got a card in the mail reminding me of how to prepare for the installers. On the day of the install I got a call from the installers just as they were leaving the factory. They were right on time, polite and nice guys. They worked straight through and cleaned everything up. It was a pleasure dealing with this company. There was an error in the handle on the slider. I called the salesman who immediately called me back, and told me the factory would call. They called a little later that day and set up an appointment to rectify the problem. I would definitely use this company again. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Also they provide a 35 year guarantee.

We've initially used their services when we bought the house. My kids were watching the workers and they weren't very friendly to the kids. The kids were all excited to see this project unfold and they kept asking questions. However, the guy seemed a little bit annoyed at my daughter who was asking questions. Other than that, they worked fast and the windows looked good.

I was very satisfied with the entire experience. The salesperson who came out was pleasant and not at all pushy. After signing the contract the measurer came out to get the exact measurements. It was very helpful talking to him because he was an installer for 30 yrs. and had suggestions on how the new windows could be trimmed. This was important to me because the house is made of log and I wanted the minimum amount of aluminum so that it wouldn't look out of place with the wood. The two installers arrived as scheduled and the entire work was completed in just a few hours. Interestingly, they traveled up from Taylor for the job and the windows were just built the day before. The installers were very professional and cleanup was thorough. They discussed the trim options with me and only needed to use a little aluminum trim, which perfectly matched the color of the windows. We chose the "Terra" color windows since we felt this would look best with the log of the building. The windows look great with the log. They are very solid and easy to operate and clean. An added surprise was how much quieter it was in the house with the new windows. We were very happy with our WallSide experience.

They are organized. You make the call, salesman sets appt to come to your home, measures, gives you price and installation date at initial meeting. A second person comes out to measure and the order is manufactured. They called just before they came to do the installation. We had a crew of 5 to do 16 windows and it took them from 8 to 230pm. They don't screw around. Advice - move everything away from the windows and inspect before they leave. I

I was deciding between Hanson's and Wallside windows prices were very similar. I chose to go with wallside because the have factory close to my house which was important to me. Windows installation went very well but the next day one of the windows had crack in it. I called my sales rep. and wallside regarding the defect service department give me repair date 2 weeks later. I hope nothing else going to happen and will not go with wallside again for my windows. Hope this help somebody else looking to replace windows.

Lets just get this out of the way right up front: buying windows is no fun. Every sales rep from every company will bombard you will an overwhelming number of testimonials and exhaustive reasons why their product is superior (I would actually liken it to something like a timeshare presentation). At some point it probably boils down to who best cuts to the chase. In our case, wallside was by far the most competitive in terms of pricing, financing and cutting to the chase. They also came highly recommended from multiple close sources. Ironically, when we met with competitor sales reps, we noticed one of their primary tactics was to deride Wallside's quality and deceptive finance terms (specifically the disparity in pricing when you would pay up front (in our case around $1,500) versus the 5-year 0% interest financing offered by wallside (point being it's not really 0% since you basically pay the interest up front)). Either way, the specific/almost envious focus on Wallside, unwillingness of competitors to provide clear quotes and excessive amount of time pedaling their products - really drove us to select Wallside. Summary of our experience: Pros (+) - Immediately provided quote/ + Demonstrated total flexibility to meet our requirements/provide full service (i.e. replacement of entry doors, financing) + Crew arrived on time/worked extremely hard/stayed focused/very professional + Great clean up + Beautiful product + Responsive customer service + Warranty/guarantee + $100 reference bonus sent to our family members Cons (-) - Long lead time for installation (6+ weeks) - Multiple quality issues. admittedly, we were probably very demanding + held Wallside to a very high standard but you judge: - Door handles on Door Wall would not latch (entire assembly had to be replaced) - Front Door Strike Plate was cracked in half upon installation - (4) Windows replaced due to scratching/internal defects - (2) of the (4) windows replaced twice due to similar defects - Magnets for security system discarded/lost during window replacements. 1 recovered/returned, 1 had to be re-serviced - Several front Door screw access holes missing covers - Wallside was generally responsive/would send out a service tech but it surprised us they would completed a job with such defects Overall good company but they should definitely institute better quality controls and a customer satisfaction walkthrough upon job completion to address any issues.
