Description of Work: I needed to have my main sewer line snaked due to a backup. I called A1 as I have previously used them. They were courteous and professional and inquired as to the urgency of my request. As the water has receded we agreed on a Friday service date. They arrived at the agreed time and remedied the situation. They also gave great advice as to work that needed to be done moving forward. In addition to the prompt courteous service there was no onsite price inflation (like I've experience with other companies). Greatly appreciated.

Description of Work: A great company, came to my house the day I called, quickly corrected my plumbing problem and gave me good advice about how the problem could be avoided in the future. A reasonably priced, honest company to deal with.

Description of Work: Installed a new bathtub diverter and handle. The old one was shot and had to be cut out. New half inch copper connections were also required behind the tub. It was very straight forward with really no problems. Work completed in 2 hrs. I think cost should have been around half what I paid, but decided to go with their estimate. They cleaned up the area and I was pleased that they did not connect PVC to the existing copper lines which is often done.

He was very courteous, professional, respectful of my property, thorough in his examination, and left me very assured of himself and his work. For the first time I feel assured that this will be taken care of properly.

Description of Work: My main sewage line was backed up. They were able to get to me the very next morning. It was during a stormy time in our area and there were a lot of plumbing problems for everyone. They used the snake, then the camera, and concluded the high speed water machine was required. They came back promptly with that. And unlike others I've used, they used the water jet, then the camera, then the water jet, then the camera, until the camera confirmed, positively, that the problem was resolved. Cost of service may seem high, but Rotor Router ran the jet machine once and charged me $1200.00. If you have this kind of problem, you need visual proof that it is fixed. A1 Bargain Plumbing provided that.

Description of Work: Newly purchased home had some drains starting to back up. They Unclogged pipes, but will have to return some day to finish snaking the main pipe. Pipes were the worst they have seen possibly ever.

Description of Work: Kevin cleaned an obstructed kitchen drain, and upon request, provided us with estimate for water heater replacement. The water heater situation suddenly worsened (as it often does), so we dialed Kevin on a Saturday at about 10 am. Beyond our expectations, he was able to tackle the job that same day. He spent some quality time with us, showing us how to drain the tank annually to squeeze a little more life out of it. He also explained error codes on the controller (these newfangled heaters actually monitor themselves). We wanted to hire a plumber from the neighborhood rather than one of those multi-county switchboard-dispatched multi-unit outfits. We figured that we would get good service this way, and we did!

Description of Work: Plumber was Kevin Gaber. Basement was flooded, water-heater burst, & leak from toilet. I can't do stairs so he went downstairs and took video, plus video of the source of a leak from the toilet on his IPad. Fixed the leak and, if I remember correctly, disconnected the water-heater tank. He did a lot & gave me helpful info. on the basement problem. I think $225 was a very reasonable price for all he did. He was speedy to get here (not too far away), courteous, and very professional. He's proud of his high ratings--that's why I chose him--and is intent on keeping it. Don't think I could have chosen a better plumber! Two thumbs up! |

Description of Work: My bathtub would not drain. I called A1 Bargain Plumbing near the end of the day on Friday. They were booked but said they would call around 9am on Saturday if they could squeeze me in. Kevin called right at 9 and said he could be at my home in 30 minutes. He came and assessed the problem - my old trap needed to be replaced. He was able to fix it and the shower drains as it is supposed to.
