Ok, work was decent but price high.

On the day that I phoned Craig, three other contractors were also called. All were left messages. Craig is the only one who returned my call and it was within an hour after I had left a message. The weather was bad so the job he was working on outside was stalled for that day so he was able to come out that day to look at the job. He was prompt and professional, easy to talk to. He understood the design idea and was knowledgable about ADA building codes. We discussed building codes regarding property lines as the deck may have been too close to the property line. He went to City Hall that day and spoke to the city inspector and was given a verbal approval contingent on the plans. In less than a week the plans were brought over for my approval and then were submitted to the city for inspection and approved. The work was not able to begin for a week after, as he was on another job. He had made me aware of that from the start. The job began on time and progressed as planned. They made good use of their time, scheduling inside and outside work around the weather. He and his workers were always neat, cleaning up after themselves and professional. Craig was easy to work with when there were any changes that needed to be made throughout the process and phone calls were always returned within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend Craig's Construction to anyone. He came back for a final inspection and to take pictures and was kind enough to install smoke detectors not included in the bid.

He responded quickly to my request and was able to come to my home within a day of my initial call. He was early to our appointment. He was very courteous and professional in dealing with my wife and kids who were home at the time. He was also very quick with the repair, which was done in a very neat and tidy fashion. He left no cleanup for us. From initial contact, to work performed, to bill payment, it was a smooth, pleasant experience. I would have no second thoughts about contracting with him to do further repairs on other work we have.

Craig gave me detailed explanations of why the and quot;houseand quot; could not be remodeld to the housing standard. The building is technically a pole barn and the footer was all wrong. And this was only one of the problems. I was pretty much sure of this but I needed the expert opinion so I could convince my dad on another option. I appreciated that Craig took the time to look at this project and if there are any situations where I would need work done, I would call him again.

Craig's company tore off an existing roof and replaced it. It took two days. The only delay was caused by the weather. Clean up was excellent! I only gave a B for the price because I think it was a bit high compared to a few others I spoke to having their roofs replaced in the area. However, we did have higher estimates from other companies for the same service.

He called me back on the 18th of November and said he was real busy and couldn't come out for about a week to even look at our job to even give us a quote. I told him okay thank you I would look some where else.

This bathroom is very small and a real challenge to remodel and our house was built in 1836 so nothing is standard or square and you know there will be surprises no matter what you try to do. Craig and his crew did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier. I've never worked with a nicer, more courteous, professional, thoughtful and talented group of contractors. Their work is the best I've ever seen. The proposal was clear and we knew exactly what to expect and what services were covered in the proposal. Once we discussed what I was hoping for in the bathroom, Craig made suggestions as to sources for tile, fixtures and cabinetry and his suggestions were excellent. Picking out what I wanted went as smoothly as possible and I am very happy with the results. There was great communication between these suppliers, Craig and with me which ensured that what I selected would actually work out in this small space. Once the work started, they were on time every day and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day recognizing that we still had to function in our home while all this work was proceeding. Everyone who worked on each aspect of the project was a true craftsman taking pride in doing the best work possible. This project was as close to perfection as you could get. I really felt that my desires, preferences and opinions were not only heard but they took extra effort to try and satisfy me. Given the challenges of this room, some changes had to be made as work progressed. When this happened, we discussed alternatives and agreed upon a course of action. I felt completely confident in the decisions we made. Not only would I hire Craig again, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He and his crew are truly in a high quality class of their own. As I said, they are truly and quot;craftsmenand quot; and not your run of the mill contractors.

My wife and I worked with Craig and found him very helpful in picking out hardwood floors for a dining room and office to picking out paint colors. He also drew up a design for built-in bookcases. Once we hammered out exactly what we wanted he began shortly after we returned from our vacation. Work started on time and was finished in a timely manner. Craig and his crew installed hardwood floors in a large dinning room and office. Craig built 7 built-in bookcases (Oak) across 2 walls in the office that are stunning. He also made a 6' long Oak built-in computer desk. He had his painters paint the dinning room, office and 2 upstairs bedrooms and a large portion of the upstairs hallway. The painters did a fantastic job! Craig also converted a portion of the upstairs hallway into a closet on one side and built in shelving unit on the other. My wife and I were very pleased with the work Craig and his crew did. We also felt the price was very affordable and fair. I highly recommend Craig's Construction and we will use him again for future projects.

Craig is a true professional both from a business standpoint as well as a builder standpoint. He has the skills to do everything himself including building a complete house but will subcontract as much help as necessary to meet the schedule. He has been in the business many years and knows who the best people are to enlist to supplement his own efforts whether they be plumbers, electricians, tile installers, or whatever. Craig came to the house and surveyed the work that we wanted done and asked about our schedule. He asked for a day to complete a detailed estimate and it was delivered on time. The price was fair and we entered into a contract with him. We furnished most of the cabinets and major material items ourselves and he provided installation services and the smaller material such as trim, under counter lights, etc.. Our schedule was tight and he put in an extra effort to be sure that everything would be complete on time. His workmanship and the workmanship of his subcontractors was superb! We couldn't have been happier. I would definitely use Craig's Construction in the future.

We are waiting for them to come and put a new roof on our house. We have used them for the last 20 years for different things. He is honest and trustworthy. He is very good. We have no complaints and the work has been very good.
