Description of Work: I recently had Avery Construction do repairs on what I first thought was a drain leak from my washing machine into the basement. They examined it and it turned out to be a water line leak to the washer and kitchen sink from a failed soldered joint in the existing copper piping. They also discovered mold in the wall where the plumbing leak was, and my entire basement was moldy as well. They replaced the leaking plumbing with PEX tubing and treated the basement with a special bleach mixture and installed a dehumidifier to keep the moisture level down to prevent mold from coming back. The basement feels drier and smells much better.
