He charged almost $1000 for the Sump Pump replacement which was very high. He told me that pump would cost $600. I searched the website later and it would only cost about $350. The first pump he installed did not even work which caused flooding to my finish basement. He had to come back to put another one.

Excellent! They came out when they scheduled and fixed it fast and at a great price! They were helpful in making me understand the issue and what was needed to be done and why. Their prices were extremely reasonable compared to other quotes I got from plumbers in the area

Excellent. Fast response. Owner came out and reviewed my options, Next morning they were prompt in arriving and making the removal and replacement. Did the work to code and pulled permit. Inspection is still pending although I do not expect any issues.

Showed up on time and completed work, but did not complete satisfactorily-stated he couldn't adequately caulk due to cold temperature. Receipt did not specify parts vs.labor etc. and price seemed excessive for time it took.

Set up first of day Appt. Took time off work but Tech was late. Repairs were minimal. Full minimum rate charged even though it required less than 20 minutes. To be expected I guess.

Bill Walton answered my call on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. I told him our hot water tank was leaking. He said he could be at our house at 6pm. He showed up right on time. The water tank was 16 years old so we assumed it would need replaced, but Bill checked to make sure. He went to pick up a new hot water tank, drained and removed the old tank, installed the new tank and was done and out the door by 8:20pm. Bill was professional, informative and friendly - answering all our questions and completely cleaning up after the job. We will definitely call Walton Plumbing for any of our future plumbing needs. Called Bill Walton at 8:00 am in the morning. He promised to be at my home at 11:00 am to determine what need to be done. He arrived at exactly 11:00 as promised and inspected the water heater. Offered a range of solutions ranging from repair to replacement. Elected to have 20 year old heater replaced. He and his assistant arrived on time next day and replaced old water heater, removed old heater, and cleaned up after job. Very satisfied with work done and appreciated the quick response and on-time arrivals.

They came, found the source of the leak (improperly caulked shower), fixed it that day, and then even sent me a bill via email since I am out of state. I was really happy with their service and would definitely call them up again if there are any future issues.

Fantastic experience! One morning I woke up to discover a small puddle on our basement floor, the result of a pinhole leak that had developed in one of our old galvanized pipes. We had been planning on replacing the plumbing at some point anyway. I called our usual plumber who is very good but also quite expensive. Fortunately, as it turns out, he was booked solid for the next week. After checking here on Angie's List I noticed Bill Walton had received glowing reviews. I contacted him and he came out the next morning to check the problem. As I suspected, he suggested replacing all the galvanized pipe for the first floor plumbing with PEX, leaving the plumbing for the second story bath intact as well as a bit of copper pipe that had been introduced into the system over the years. He quoted me a price of $900, and scheduled an appointment a few days later. Mr. Walton showed up right on time (early, actually) and got to work immediately. Three and a half hours later he said he was taking a lunch break. I expected him to return in about an hour, but 30 minutes later he was back in the basement finishing the job. About 30 minutes after that and he was done. The whole job took him only about 4.5 hours, when I was expecting at least the entire day. He completed the work, cleaned up the mess, and talked me through the changes and where he had moved some of the new shutoff valves. Everything works great, and it's a huge relief to know that we have new (mostly) plumbing now rather than our 90 year old pipes. I can't recommend Mr. Walton enough. He is professional, courteous, on time, and charges very reasonable rates based on the job and not per hour. I will most definitely be using him for all of my future plumbing needs.

The arrived within 2 hours and was able to clear the clog within 10 minutes. Very happy ewith the service and would use them again.

We found Walton Plumbing to be excellent in providing service. The pricing was very fair given they found more that they had estimated was involved in the job. They were easy to work with during the work period. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After another company sent plumbers out twice for what should have been a simple repair (the toilet tank was leaking at the top of the water line), the problem was worse than when I had called them. On top of that, they never had the right 'part' in the truck and had to go buy it, charging me for the trip. Fool me twice... So, I called Walton Plumbing. They came out that very day, at the time they said they would, took a look at the problem, had all the right parts on hand and were done in about 20-30 minutes. The price was fair, and I haven't had problems. since. I've found my plumber!

Bill Walton was exceptionally responsive. Answered my call immediately and was able to schedule installation of the new hot water heater the next day. Bill answered my questions regarding warranties, installation and removal of the old unit honestly and thoroughly. He and his assistant worked quickly and completed the project in a few hours.

When I noticed our sump pump was no longer working last Monday, I called several electricians and plumbers. Bill Walton called me back within an hour. Fortunately he was able to come by that morning to replace the sump pump, as the basin was almost 3/4 full of water. I would highly recommend his services.
