Description of Work: The men who came to install my new washing machine broke the fittings on my faucet .....leaving me with the water having to be turned off on a Saturday afternoon in 90 degree heat.......Thank goodness I thought of running to Angie's list and after one try, reached Bill Walton who was able to come 45 minutes later and fix the problem.......He is now "my plumber".......

Description of Work: Fixed a leaky flush and installed sump pump. Much more knowledgeable than other plumbers we had look at the issues. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Bill Walton did everything we asked for and more and was very reasonably priced. He moved a gas line from one side of the kitchen to the other and cleaned up 30 feet of unneeded pipe. He removed a drain line that was blocking installation of new cabinets and moved the water line for the refrigerator. That portion of the job is done. After the cabinets are in he will install the sink and dishwasher as well as repair/replace turnoffs that have deteriorated and move a furnace drain line. The second part of the job is not included in the above price but is estimated at about $500.

Description of Work: Bill came to my home on Monday after I called him in late afternoon on Saturday. It was not urgent. I needed a shutoff valve installed in the gas line to my barbecue grill. He installed the valve and checked its operation and was done in less than an hour. He charged a very fair price.

Description of Work: We are managers for the owner of the building and she chose Walton out to the 3 plumbers I gave her from Angie's list, because he does his estimates by the job, rather than just giving us the dollars he charges per hour.

Price seemed a little high, but was willing to pay for the cleanliness, professionalism and politeness as described from another Angie's List user, which was accurate - professional through and through.

Description of Work: Third time Bill has been out. Last May, he came to clear toilet, which was backing up to shower. As it turned out, he said when they put city line in, they never changed the pitch underneath house, and took care of it. Worked many hours, under the house, without taking a break. First time in 30 yes., someone took the time to diagnose the issue. Now I have another issue. Called Bill last week, because water is dripping into crawl-came out right away. Explained some pipes need to be replaced because of age..will be back soon to do work(because of my schedule). As like previous comments, very prompt, courteous, and hard worker.

Description of Work: After moving into a new home, there were several small plumbing problems that needed fixing, as well as the most deteriorated tub drain I've ever seen. The plumber arrived on time and gave me an estimate of all the money and time that would be required to fix all the problems. He then got straight to work and was amazing! In less time than he estimated, he had fixed our sink, two toilets, and that horrible drain, replacing it with a brand new beautiful drain. He had to purchase a special tool to remove the old drain, saying he had never seen one in that bad of condition before. He showed us the receipt for all the parts he bought at our local hardware store, and deducted the cost of the tool he had to purchase, including sales tax. He was fair, professional, and wonderful. I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need a plumber. I will also gladly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. EXCELLENT!
