Bill did a great job installing a new gas line for a stove into our 1940s house. We spoke with him over the phone last week and he quoted us a price of $200-400 based on complexity before he saw the house. He arrived 30 minutes earlier than he quoted, looked over the job and provided an estimate in line with what he told us before he saw the job. He worked quickly and and completed the entire job within 3 hours of initial arrival. I'd definitely call him again for any further plumbing work!

It was all very quick good work. I called him on the 16th and asked him if he come out the next day, and he said yes. He came out and looked at the problem, gave me an estimate, and then installed the new hardware. The whole thing took maybe 30-45 minutes. Plumber was courteous. I appreciated the last-minute help.

Bill showed up the same day on time, he gave me a fair initial quote and was done in less than an hour. A++

All the joints in our gas pipes in the basement had low level leaks. DTE inspector said not an emergency but to get them repaired soon. Contacted several contractors but wait time was unacceptably long. Called Walton Plumbing, told them what the problem was and they were able to come out that day to give an estimate. The job was started and completed the next day without a hitch. Easy to do business with this company. Very prompt, job well done, good clean up. Will do business with them again. Sorry this review is overdue.

Responded quickly to our phone call, arrived less than two hours later. He was punctual, removed his shoes without asking, quickly assessed the problem and fixed it in about 30 minutes. He was very professional, explained everything he did and how it would function. We were definitely pleased with his response, professionalism and his work, and would certainly call him again for any plumbing problems. Update: repair has been successful over a month. We really feel we have found a reliable, capable plumber.

It went very well. Loved the service

In our first floor bathroom after our daughters shower, neither the sink, bathtub or toilet would drain. There was water all over the floor. If you flushed the toilet, it would back up into the bathtub. It was a real mess. in the basement below the bathroom the leaking water was pouring down. I called Walton plumbing after-hours and spoke with the owner. Initially I planned to have someone come out that night but decided to wait until the next day. Bill said they would be able to get over sometime after 11 the next-day. I got a call a little before noon from the plumber who was about 10 minutes away. When he arrived, he checked out the bathroom and the basement. He determined that there was likely an obstruction in a common drain pipe located in the basement just below the bathroom. He said he might need to remove the toilet in order to snake the drain, but that he would first try a snake that he could run through the toilet without removal. Fortunately, that was all he needed to do. He did notice that the drain in the sink was running a bit slow, so he snaked that out too. He kindly applied a 20% off Angie's list coupon too. Good plumbers are hard-to-find, He did an excellent job, I would definitely use Walton plumbing again.

Bill was punctual, professional and got the job done. He came over a 2nd time to provide us with an estimate for another plumbing issue. He gave us an honest assessment and told us that we could handle the job ourselves. I certainly appreciate his honesty and will definitely be calling Walton Plumbing again for our future issues.

I had an AO Smith water heater that went bad within its warranty period and tried all the AO Smith service companies in the area. All of them were either not able to come soon enough or unwilling to do the warranty service. I called Bill to come and take a look at my water heater as I was losing rent income and needed the water heater replaced. He came out the next day, only a few minutes late to the appointment. He took a look at the water heater and we agreed that he would replace it for me without trying to get the warranty covered. He went out and picked up a new unit an installed it that day. He stayed until about 6:30 to complete the job, which I thought was great. He even gave advice on another job at the house I was trying to fix. Was great to work with and I would hire him again.

Bill said a good caulk job would fix the issue, and I said go ahead and do it. After completing the caulk job I pulled my checkbook out and he just said "no charge". Bill was very thorough in identifying the cause of the leak, and then to fix the problem without a charge, that was a pleasant surprise. I will have Walton Plumbing on the top of my list for future plumbing issues.

It went very well. Bill came out the same day I called & was able to fix the 2 clogged drains. He was very professional & timely.

Overall the experience went well. He advised me of some additional problems that could cause damage, but he offered to return if the issue was not resolved.

Bill was great. Called on Sunday at 10:00am, he returned my call within 30 minutes and at my house by 11:00am. He was very professional and fairly priced for a weekend emergency. He replaced my main water shutoff valve that was spraying all over. He also took time to fix my plumbing under a sink faucet.

I could only get two plumbers to look at this job. The other called after looking at it and said he'd just got the go-ahead with another job and would be unable to do this one too. This guy is a one-man band. He's busy and he may be slow to respond and forgetful at times because of other things he has on his mind & schedule. Though his communications are not the best, all work was acceptable and got done when we needed it done.

I emailed him and he agreed to come back the next week and replace it. And he did!!!! At no extra charge. Now that's pretty impressive. I like this guy and would use him again. I was expecting the installation process to be 2 hours, but Mr. Walton had the new water tank installed in less than hour. He was very professional.

This is an addition to my August 27th review. Had the new toilet installed and everything was fine. A few days later I noticed a few drips of water on the floor under the toilet. Kept an eye on it and never could figure out where the water was coming from. Called Walton on Friday to let them know there may be a problem. The gentleman scheduled an appointment for the day after Labor day, which was Tuesday morning. The leak seemed to have stopped on Sunday. When the repair man came, he showed me that the problem most likely was the old galvanized pipe coming from the wall. The other issue I had is the new toilet had 2 spots that weren't covered over with the ceramic glaze and had discolored. I didn't even have to quibble, an appointment was made for Thursday and a new toilet was installed. I am so happy with Walton Plumbing. They true professionals, not to mention efficient and polite. I highly recommend this company if you have any type of plumbing problem.

Woke up to a flood on account of the only toilet in the house. Since the toilet was over 30 years old, I needed it replaced. Called another plumbing service which was closer to my house and they couldn't come for two days. Called Walton Plumbing and was told they could come out between 2-4pm. Got a text in the afternoon with an arrival estimate and true to his word, my angel of mercy arrived with a new toilet. He installed the toilet and took the old one with him. He was very efficient and left no water or mess behind. Very professional and I would not only use them again, but highly recommend them to others. Thought the price I paid was reasonable.

Bill is great. The job tuned out to be more complicated but he is very professional, patiend and flexible. He worked very hard and did great job. The price was very reasonable too. We will hire him for out next project. Thanks Bill!

Bill was just the best! He's experienced, knowledgeable and skilled, and most importantly, someone I feel I can really trust. Incredibly efficient, punctual, and professional. He does everything himself, so there are no scheduling or miscommunication issues that have come up for me in the past with other companies. His pricing for parts and labor is very fair. (A different plumber had quoted me above $350 for the same services, using a form that looked complicated with an arbitrary pricing scale. Bill's original quote was above $160, and I used the Angie's List 20% off coupon.) When one of my toilets was running, he stopped by the next morning after I called, and fixed the problem. Everything felt straightforward and easy.

When other plumbers wouldn't return my phone call or their voice mail said they "don't provide emergency services", Walton Plumbing returned my call, arrived in less than an hour, and completed the job in about 30 minutes. Prior to arriving I was given a quote, and the plumber gave me a 20% discount at payment time because I'm an Angie's List member.

I have used Walton plumbing a few times in the past. Bill is always quick to come out, assess the situation and provide a solution. His prices are fair but more importantly, he does good work and is an honest and trustworthy guy. We noticed that our hot water tank was providing hot water for short periods of time. We did some research, did a check with a multimeter (thanks to YouTube for the how-to on that one) and, determined the issue was the lower heating element. Since you need to drain the tank to replace the heating elements, I opted to replace both the heating elements and the dip tube at the same time. Those are most common issues with not getting enough hot water so I figured do it all once just to be on the safe side. This is something i could do myself however, Bill was already coming out to run a new gas line for our new cooktop so i decided to let him do it. He did both jobs while I was at work. I came home and they were done. The price was fair and as always, he did a great job. I highly recommend Walton Plumbing to anyone in the Belleville, Canton. Ann Arbor area that needs a good plumber.
