Roman got our network scanner working correctly again! I would call upon him again in the future, without a doubt!

I called Roman (the computer guy) and explained the problem. He tried to set up an appointment for a couple of days later, but it didn't fit into my schedule. I was ready to schedule for next week, when he said that he would run over to my house between appointments and see if he could diagnose the problem at least. He arrived at the time he said he would. He spent about 20 minutes going through the computer and said it was working properly. He did do some clean up, reviewed my virus protection and added on an additional protection. He set up a way for me to reach him and do a remote session if necessary. He also explained a couple of maintenance things to me, and some detail about my internet browers. It was very helpful. I especially liked that he was able to come to my house, and I didn't have to take my tower to him. He was very polite and respectful. So far, things are working just fine. I would definitely use him again.

Picked up computer from my house. Called 2 hours later when computer repaired. Easy to work with. Excellent work. Prompt. Reasonable price.

.When I left a message to set up and appointment Roman called back shortly thereafter. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and worked diligently for approx. two hours. He resolved all my computer and internet issues. He also set up a spread sheet for future reference should I have additional problems. I would use him again and highly recommend his services.

Communication was excellent. Roman was very patient. He explained everything thoroughly. He contacted me to re-schedule because the part he ordered did not come in as he was promised. I appreciate it that he let me know as soon as he found out and he re-scheduled the next day at my convenience. The charge quoted ended up being much higher than anticipated BUT that was a problem that came up with my backup equipment and was no fault of his. I would definitely call Roman again anytime I need any computer assistance.

The problem of slow or non-existent internet connection was completely solved. Roman also installed some enhanced software programs, to strengthen our anti-virus protection and to allow us to periodically clean up our hard drive. He was both friendly and highly professional, explaining what he did as his work progressed, so that I understood.

Roman resolved issues that many visits from other techs were not able to resolve. We were very frustrated with our VOIP service and spotty internet connections. We also could not connect wirelessly to ipads and MACs. Roman responded quickly, resolved all issues on the same day and checked back frequently to make sure our ongoing issues were not recurring. He also connected some VOIP phones that were offline as a side request while he was out here. I highly recommend him!! He is competent, professional and really cares about getting your issues reolved.

It went well. Roman ordered the recovery disks but found that HP sent the wrong one. he contacted them they resent the correct disks. He was then able to rebuilld my laptop and make it as good as new. Thanks Roman

Was prompt. Installed router & printer w/o incident & made sure my iPhone & iPad were linked. He was friendly, answered all my questions & reset my iPhone (it would not let me send email, only receive.)

Roman came to my home for a consultation, reviewed my connectivity problems and created a plan, which included running new networking wire through the house. We scheduled a second appointment with his contractor. He and the contractor arrived on time and ready to work. The wiring guy was a complete pro. He got the job done quickly, with minimal interruptions. At the next appointment, Roman came and networked not only my office, but my entire house. While there was a problem that I discovered later, Roman was extremely responsive and came back quickly to resolve the issue. I was so impressed with his service that I gave him another job of fixing a PC which had gone haywire. Same results. He got the job done quickly and professionally. Oh my gosh, just call Roman and do it now! He is FANTASTIC. He helped me migrate from a desktop computer that had been hit by a virus (then repaired, but always a bit wonky afterwards) to a new desktop -- patiently and efficiently. He recommended some upgrades to our home wifi, and set up my Outlook to sync with Apple devices -- things I didn't even know were needed/possible. Sometimes in life -- not nearly often enough -- you find a service professional that helps to make your life easier. Roman is one of those people. Call him, you will NOT be sorry! I wish there were a way to give him an A+ rating.

I write this review of the service delivered by, The Computer Guy Company, owned by Roman Golshteyn with pleasure. My husband and I both research and write almost daily. We purchased a new computer and printer but needed tech support to get them operative. We called Roman and he came immediately even though the snow was so deep many roads were closed. The computer and printer were skillfully set up to deliver all functions (scan fax, and print, automatic updates, etc.). He imparted useful knowledge to us and went far above what was required (he helped my husband connect the VCR). He also set my husbands email up so that it would be exactly as it is on his office computer. When I inquired about getting materials printed from my iphone and ipad he indicated that he would research the issues and get back with me. He followed through as he said and offered to come back for free to set it up. He did return on the following Sunday. We would highly recommend him. He is patient, knowledgeable and prepared. His prices are fair and he is highly motivated to deliver quality service.

I couldn't be more pleased - I called Roman for my brother who has disabilities and requires patience in explaining what is going on. He called and confirmed the apt, came to the home on time and called me when he completed the work! He did everything that was on the list of problems quite easily, installed a new program and explained to my brother how to work it ( with patience) and charged what I felt was a very fair price, especially what is typically charged in the area . I would use him again without hesitation and recommend him.

Roman is extremely professional and knowledgeable. When I called and left a message, my initial call was returned promptly. Roman came to my house, picked up the hard drive and explained the process and outcome of data recovery. He kept me updated on his progress and within a week had returned my old external hard drive, along with the recovered data that he had copied to separate disks. I would definately use Roman again for any computer need I may have. He is an outstanding business man that I would highly recommend.

Overall my experience with Roman was very good and I would recommend his service to everyone --- Roman was responsive and professional from the start; answering email request right away and setting an appointment to help me with my computer. For a menial fee he looked at 2 laptops and 1 desktop to diagnose whether they worth putting money into for repairs right on the spot.

He returned my phone message quickly. Showed up right at the scheduled time. It was a difficult repair but he was able to figure it out and explain exactly what was wrong. I would highly recommend him.

I called the computer guy and got voicemail. About five minutes later he called me back (very prompt). The computer guy listened to my description of my problem (in this case I had re-flashed my BIOS and thought I'd killed my PC). He asked me some questions about my build and the reflash process I went through, and deduced that the boot-up and BIOS problems I was still experiencing may have been caused by Windows 8. So he instructed me to disconnect the C: drive and all other drives and peripherals (save the mouse, keyboard, and monitor) and try to boot again. If this worked, he told me to try a fresh install of Windows 8. All of this worked splendidly and now my computer runs great. And all by making a quick call, which he didn't even charge me for.

I would highly recommend him without hesitation!

Very well. Roman has been to my home several times now to help with various computer issues. He is very knowledgeable and is always able to quickly diagnose and remedy the problem. He is resourceful and very helpful. Highly recommend!

A laptop I need for my business never worked right then just totally stopped. I called the computer guy around 4pm after trying to fix it remotely he came by around 630 picked it up and had it back to me working better than ever by 10 the next morning! It's worked great ever since. He's very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, etc. I recommend calling him before you waste your afternoon trying to muddle through it yourself. I wish I had!

Roman was punctual and efficient. He asked questions before scheduling the appointment so he had a good idea what he had to do. He was proficient and explained what he thought was wrong, what he did to correct the issue and tested his theory. It was successful. I've been dealing with this for several weeks and he fixed it in an hour.
