Excellent....beyond expectations. Alex and Asha did a wonderful job. Thorough in their review and completion of the project, friendly, expert, know their stuff, in time for appointment, clean and cleaned up the project when done. We would hire them again, and (highest compliment) we would recommend them to our fussiest friends).

I called Alexander on Monday and he and his wife were here fixing my carpet by Thursday. They spent over 4 hours working and the carpet looks brand new (and it is 20 years old)! They are very hard working, professional and really know what they're doing. They are also very sweet, friendly people...a breath of fresh air! Thank you so much!

Excellent experience! Completely satisfied with work performed and price of service . Carpet had many ripples throughout the house. Alex and his wife are a great team. Workmanship and cleanliness were above average. Cannot tell the carpet was ever wrinkled. I was also able to schedule an appt very quickly. Highly recommend this company !

Excellent service, cannot recommend highly enough. Alexander is a perfectionist and made sure the carpet was as good or better than new. He called in advance to confirm, showed up about 10 minutes before the scheduled time, cleaned up after completion of the job and did fantastic work. I am more than pleased

When he arrived Alex was very friendly, down to Earth and not at all high pressure while at the same time exhibiting total professionalism. He explained what needed to be done, went to work and I am delighted with the outcome, him and his lovely wife Asya! In addition, when I called him two weeks later to ask if he could come back because one tiny area was missed originally he came back immediately and fixed it along with another area I discovered in another room (not part of the estimate) he fixed that at no charge too. If you are looking for a carpet person, stop looking and HIRE ALEX and ASYA they are the ones you want!!!! I am very happy to recommend them to everyone!

I highly recommend Alexander’s Carpet Restretch & Repair business. After putting up with bumps in basement carpeting for several years, I finally found this reputable company through Angie’s List, and couldn’t be happier! Alex and Asha were able to fit us in a week after I called, and the cost was very reasonable for over 5 ½ hours of work! It was very apparent that this lovely couple takes pride in their work, and worked tirelessly to correct all the bubbles that had occurred in our basement, bedroom and hall carpets over the years. Alex explained what he was doing before he began, and obviously was very familiar with how to do an expert job! Asha made sure everything was tidy after the job was done. We felt very comfortable having them in our home, and will definitely be telling our friends about this great company!

Alex and his wife showed us that our carpeting had a manufacturing defect where the adhesive on the backing was disintegrating and separating from the closed loop carpeting. Since the adhesive and backing were separating from the carpeting, our cat was diligently proving to us that our carpeting was defective. It was only because of the disintegrating adhesive that our cat was able to pull the carpet loops out. Alex even showed us how the remnant rolls of carpet that we had in storage were flaking and how the backing could be pulled back. He even cut out a 6 by 6 square from one of the remnant rolls, moistened it with a spray bottle, and immediately started peeling the backing off like a banana. He pointed to the noticeable seems by the fireplace that I was concerned about as further evidence of the same root cause. Because of his honesty, and diligence, my wife and I were able to take Alex's written description of the problem along with photos and fresh remnant samples to the retailer who had sold us the carpeting. In turn, the retailer approached the manufacturer, who stood by their warranty, and offered us a new carpet replacement. Thanks to Alex and his wife, we are now getting new carpeting installed next week at no charge. Thank you both!!!!

Alex and Asha showed up at exactly the time scheduled and worked efficiently for 4 hours, cleaning up everything as they worked. Our carpet looks band new. I would call them back again for another room and refer them to fiends. They are totally professional and reasonably priced. They were also a pleasure to have in our home.

Alexander worked diligently, did excellent work, and he and his wife were extremely pleasant. I actually gave him more than he charged, which speaks to my opinion of the quality of service.

I could not be happier with the work done. At first I was concerned with re-stretching the carpet versus simply replacing it all, but I am extremely happy we chose to have the existing carpet repaired. Alex knows his stuff and he managed to breathe new life into carpet that was poorly installed by others.

Upon contacting Alex with the help of Angie's List, he told us he'd be happy to come to the house and help get us through the disaster. My husband ordered the padding from a distributor on-line. Once it arrived, Alex came a day later. His workmanship was excellent. He was pleasant and easy to work with. The carpet is now back in place and looks brand new. He even helped my husband bring two pieces of heavy work-out equipment up the basement stairs and into the garage. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone!!!

They take pride in their work so their work is impeccable. The work took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Cleaned up carpet scraps. They appreciated the business. The charge for their work was very fair given their skills and work ethic.

It went very well. They were right on time and worked hard. The carpet looked great yesterday and he was clearly very knowledgeable about carpet and carpet stretching.

Alex and Asia were fantastic to work with. I thought I had a problem where my carpet just needed to be stretched but, in fact, the carpet was delaminating from the backing in a small corner of one of the bedrooms. I called Alex and he scheduled me no problem. When they showed up, just showed them the work area and let them do their work. Once they were done, they walked me through the repair. Very friendly and professional people. Would definitely have them back if I need additional repairs done and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Alex & Asia were excellent. They showed up right on time and called about an hour beforehand to confirm I would be home. They were both very friendly and very respectful of my home. No mess left behind for me to clean up and the quality of the work they performed was excellent. They were efficient in getting the job done quickly and did not mind me checking in on them to see how things were going. They were happy to explain to me the details of the repair stretch and how it is done and did what they could to minimize the cost to me for any repairs I may need in the future. I could tell my satisfaction was their priority. I would, without question, have them back to my home to repair some carpet again in the future.

Alexander and his wife arrived right on time and immediately went to work. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along and moved any furniture as needed. They are experts in carpet stretching and did an excellent job. They were very respectful of my home and furnishings and I enjoyed having them as guests. I highly reccomend them.
