Very unprofessional. Ken texted me to schedule my appraisal when we already had over the phone a few days before and he deletes text messages so does not have any idea who his customers are when they contact him nor did he take the time to look at my number before replying so obviously does not keep track of customers. Ken told me he was a real estate agent lender which is a huge conflict of interest; so obviously he is not a full-time appraiser which is what I thought I was hiring! He asked no questions, was not detail-oriented was only at my home for maybe 20 minutes. Even tho I asked, he did not go into 3 rooms in our home: the heated garage, utility room, and walk-in storage room on the second floor. They may not be living space but they certainly have value (especially a newer furnace and hot water heater). There are also very unique things about our home that were not taken into account. His value of our home was less than Zillow; I do not even know how that is possible when Zillow does not take into account things like landscaping, the second fireplace in the basement, built-in natural gas and wet bar on the patio, etc, etc. What we got was an undervalued, inaccurate appraisal with incorrect square footage. We were extremely disappointed and do not recommend his services to anyone.

Ken was prompt in both his reply and getting to the job on time. I appreciate him coming out in this coronavirus era. I think his evaluation was right on as I had a couple of my realtor friends give me real estate appraisals. I did check him out before agreeing to hire him and I don't understand some of the criticism he received. I expect that owners don't like when an appraisal comes in much lower than their estimation of worth so they take it out on the appraisor.

Awful service! Ken was paid and cashed check same day he came out to my home. After not hearing from him for 6 days, I contacted him by email to get an estimated completion time on appraisal and was informed he was sick in bed. I then received an inaccurate appraisal within an hour with the caveat: Sorry about the delay. I am still fighting through this bug I have. This is the best I could do for you. Seriously!?! As if I paid him 1/2 his fee and said this is the best I can pay you for your services! He then proceeds to argue with me back and forth via email on the size of my garage that has been documented by the builder and previous appraisers to the point of using curse words and name calling. Totally unprofessional! Would not recommend him to appraise a dog house!

Poor, unprofessional service. Ken was vulgar on the phone and in person. The work he provided had mistakes in the header with the wrong address and during communication, he refused to fix it. I do not recommend his services to anyone. It would be a simple fix for him. Furthermore he was hired to do a sketch and accurate measurements. The quality was poor and there were inconsistencies to other sketches such that the layout were inaccurate one of the features.
