Contact with Ken on 12/11, he was at the property the next day on 12/12, I received the appraisal on 12/16 and I find this all to be extraordinary. In my lay-person opinion, the appraisal was spot-on and it served our purposes (Probate) without any reserve. Before I found HomeAdvisor, I had placed several direct calls to other appraisers I found on the internet - one never contacted me back, one called the next day to tell me he was no longer an appraiser and one called 2 days later. It can be so frustrating - and why I found Ken /Acupraise /HomeAdvisor extraordinary.

Made contact with Ken on 6/24. Appraisal scheduled for 7/1. Received appraisal on 7/9. And time to receive report obviously over 4th of July Holiday. I felt this appraisal was correctly priced (my cost) and returned to me in a quick manner. No negative issues to report at all.

I met with him on a Thursday and it has been 12 days and I don't have the appraisal back. I had to call him on the 10th day since I hadn't heard from him and as of today no report back. $275 paid up front, this was a mistake I trusted him. Only pay 50% up front if you decide to work with him.

The gentleman was rude and unprofessional when I questioned him on the value he submitted for my property. I questioned his knowledge of the area and he told me that I couldn't possibly know the market. I have been in outside sales for 24 years and have sold three houses on my own and I have never encountered someone that was so rude with responses. I have had my own clients at time be frustrated and say remarks to me and would have never, ever replied to them in the way that this guy responded to my questions to him. I suggested a refund do to his lack of knowledge and he automatically started talking about a law suit. Not good!!!

Ken responded immediately to my request for an appraisal and we met at my new home at the agreed date and time.There was some confusion regarding the intent of the appraisal, which I consider my fault. Ken re-wrote the appraisal to meet my intent at no additional cost to me. The end result was complete, accurate and very professionally prepared.

Ken was able to accommodate us the very next day after calling, appraisal was done in a timely manner with good customer communication and was exactly what we were looking for. Great price for quick appraisal.

Ken's appraisal was right on target for lowering my property taxes.

The appraiser was on time for his inspection and performed it efficiently. However, it took 18 days for the appraisal report to be delivered, whereas the appraiser advertises a quick turnaround time of 2-4 business days. The report itself was reasonable with a few minor errors that did not impact the appraisal value. The appraiser did not communicate well in terms of responding to initial E-mails from me asking for status and delivery dates. Once the report was finally delivered, the appraiser did follow-up quickly with corrections to the report. Overall, I would not recommend this appraiser if quick turnaround is a priority.

The mans communts were rude. He said a couple rude things to my wife and they were uncalled for. We are going into bankrupsy and that is a serous thing. This project took lett than an hour.

With in a few minutes of submitting my request for an appraiser, Ken from Acupraise called me. I had an incoming call from work and had to push Ken off and call him back. Ken was not offended at all by this and answered my questions when I return a call to him. That same day he made arrangement with my renter to view the home. The viewing was schedule for the following day at my renters convience. Ken went above and beyond to make sure I was well represented with comapairables for my tax case being heard at the State level. He completed the appraisal in a few days and sent it via email. (easy and convient). I would choose him again.

My appraiser, sent me a very rude e-mail. Misunderstood and misconstrued my e-mail, prompting his rude response. He was quite late for the appointment. The report was fair to good, but I did not need the bad attitude of this particular appraiser. Double checked with my husband and had him read my e-mail to see if there was anything that would have prompted such a response back to me. My husband is a P.E. (Professional Licensed Engineer )and because of that I value his opinion, not because he is my husband. He did not understand what prompted such a rude reply from the appraiser guy.. Oh well......maybe the appraiser was having a bad day.
