Overall experience was satisfactory.

Appraiser boy spent about 20 minutes at our home. Did not go into the basement where the new furnace, RO water system, hot water heater are all kept. Not surprisingly the estimate came back much lower than exp cited.

I felt that I got a real quick job without him really doing a good job. The comparable home sales he used to value my house were not current. None of the comparables were from this year; all were 7-9 months old. Home values have changed a lot in that time, and having spent $350 on Accupraise for the appraisal report, I didn't feel I really got a good job, like he didn't take the time needed.
