I have been annoyed by a hateful virus in my desktop computer since last Summer. It knocked out my home page and kept presenting me with pop up for surveys/coupons/computer services. I contacted the 800 number for my anti-virus program (Norton 360, $85 a year for three devices and it protected none of them from this virus) and after 1/2 hour of fooling around with my computer via remote control they told me it would cost another $149 to fix it. A local large box store wanted $250 so I just kept on with the annoyance. A local independent service offered to clean it up for $85 so I put it in the car and tried to bring it in but they were closed. I brought my desktop to Michael at Geeks2Nerds quite by accident. I had noted his store while driving down the highway this fall but I could get no recommendations on him from friends. As I noted above, I intended to take it to another service outfit but they were closed (it was early Saturday afternoon) and they always take a week to 10 days to do anything. Michael fixed it in ONE DAY at a most reasonable rate. His store is clean and well organized, he knows what he is doing and he offers his services at a very fair price. He is very pleasant to work with too. I intend to bring a troubled lap top to him and an old IBM hard drive to rescue some lost documents.
Description of Work: Removed a horrible virus from my desktop computer, cleaned up the files and speeded it up.
