Description of Work: They told me that my floors needed more work and wrote me an estimate for over $600. They did not perform the service and I got my floor carpeted for much less cost.

Description of Work: MEASURED THE FLOORS AND SAID WE HAD MORE THAN 200 ' AND SAID TO DO THE FLOORS IT WOULD COST 44.00 DOLLARS MORE. HE SAID THEY ONLY DO ONE COAT OF FINISH BUT TWO IS RECOMMENDED. THAT WAS ADDITIONAL COST, SO I DECLINED. IT WAS AN OK JOB. I WISHED I HAD SPOKEN TO THEM BEFORE WE STARTED THE FLOOR PROCESS SO THERE WOULD BE NO HIDDEN COSTS.

Description of Work: I asked them to contact me in March to set up an appointment for two reasons. First, I am ill with cancer and did not know what would be happening (the doctor deferred treatment); second, I hoped we could keep the windows open for better ventilation in March. They have not contacted me. Please arrange to return my money. Thank you.

I have beautiful, original woodwork and lovely hardwood floors but they needed to be brought back to their original luster. I was also hoping to restore and maintain the authentic integrity of my 100 year old house that my family has lived in for 23 years. Hiring someone to work in your home can be an overwhelming process, especially for something as delicate as antique woodworking, but a friend recommended Fabulous Floors after they did a beautiful job refinishing her home's woodwork. I called Fabulous Floors and was amazed to find that they could refinish my floors to their natural rustic beauty - without the dust or disorder that traditional refinishing creates. Their refinishing expertise and friendly service also costs about a third of the price of other refinishers. They clarified the process and eased my mind while leaving my home immaculate.
