Took down 2 of our 30 foot pine trees in only a few hours! Grinded up the stump and everything, you wouldn't even know there were 2 dead trees there. These guys did an amazing job and it was so inexpensive for the job we needed done! 10/10 will be asking them back in the future to take out the next dead trees that come our way.

Great company did the job no one else wanted, did it quick and efficient. Defiantly will hire again.

The Thurston Logging crew is top-notch and a company I would gladly hire back if the need should ever present itself to me again. I requested a quote for my project in late November and the lumberjack of Thurstons came out the very same afternoon. Zack inspected the trees in question, examined the lay of the land, and the access points. Zack explained our options and answered any concerns we may have had. We were promised a quote within 48 hours, which we received, and set a date and time for our service. On the day of service, the crew showed up on time and got right to work, clearing fallen branches as they worked. This was no easy project as there was no way to get any Hi-Lo or powered lifts into the yard due to house to house distance restrictions. The major work was on a monstrous white pine in very close proximity to both my house and the neighbors, and it required lumberjack skills to piecemeal this bruiser to the ground. The job was completed without any damage to property (lawn dents and such) and in remarkably short order. Once the crew was done the yard was totally restored to normal, the only thing that remained was a little sawdust and the memory of a once towering pine tree. If you have a tough tree job, give Thurston Logging a call, you would not be disappointed.

Their leadership and staff are very professional and courteous. Communicating with them by email was more efficient than leaving voicemails and playing phone tag. A large tree in my back yard needed to be removed. There wasn't access for heavy equipment. Someone had to climb the tree to take it down. I was very impressed by his skill and agility. I am a very grateful and satisfied customer.

I've never had a tree removed, but I would say this was a good experience. The crew arrived EXACTLY when they said (which is almost unheard of for any hired work), and they got to work right away. The tree I removed was massive, but they still managed to get it down and completely cleaned up in a single day. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because of the stump. I was told that they could take it down to ground level and that didn't happen. I know this stump was huge (probably 3 1/2-4' diam) but because he promised and didn't deliver, that was a big bummer. Like I said though, the overall experience was a good one. The crew was timely, well mannered, and hard working for sure. Thanks Thurston!

It took 9 months to get job done. With very rainy weather last fall. To mild winter and then coronavirus 19. It was finally done today 5/7/2020. The crew did and excellent job trimming the trees, removing the dead limb. These trees were over 50 yrs old so it was a challenge. They cleaned up everything. Would recommend this company.
