Tittle Brothers Construction

I hired Tittle Brothers Construction to side my 101 year old home and replace the 4 old columns I had. I am very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to do a job. Pete was our project manager and he made sure that we were happy the entire time. If any issues came up he was right there to get them taken care of. He was also very good at making sure I got everything I wanted with the budget I had. I would give an A rating just for the experience that I had with Pete The installers did an amazing job and were very professional. They made sure that everything looked the way I wanted as they were working on the job. Even through the 90 degree temperatures they were working to get the job done. If I could I would add another A rating just for the work and the professionalism of the installers. It's been over a month now that we have had the work done and are still recieving complements on how the house looks and what a good job Tittle Brothers did. I have even received phone calls from Pete making sure that everything is still to our liking and that everything is still in good shape.

The experience was top-notch from the initial estimate to the final review of the completed project. Timely, professional, and great service. The team of roofers was super-fast, took great care of the surrounding landscape, and cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell a roofing took place-- except when you looked at that new roof! They did an absolutely excellent job. I would highly recommend using Tittle Brothers for a home project. Just give Pete Theofanopoulos a call-- he will treat you well and your home will be in good hands.

We hired Tittle Brothers to replace our roof and blow in attic insulation. Our experience with this team was great! Scott Tittle was our salesperson and ongoing point of contact. He was very thorough, answered all of our questions, and kept in contact through completion. Day 1 was the roof. The trucks pulled up and the guys piled out. Honestly, this is one well synchronized team! Everyone had a role from roofers to ground crew and they each did a great job! One team was protecting the exterior of the house (siding, windows, plants, landscape lighting) and continual cleanup, while another team was on the roof. Brian (one of the foremen) was terrific - he continually kept us updated and answered any question we had. We were surprised when he told us the roof needed all new wood but he took down several pieces to show us the damage (no doubt, it was in bad shape). The end result is the roof looks great and the ground crew ensured our home and yard were not damaged! Special thanks to Skeeter (Danny Tittle). He was a part of the ground crew but never slowed down and was helping everyone. At the end of the job he was meticulous in checking our lawn and gardens for nails, etc. There has been no rain yet to say if there are any issues but we feel confident that if any arise, they will quickly be resolved. Day 2 was attic insulation. Chuck and Justin arrived and got to work blowing in the new insulation throughout the attic. Another great team! We are very happy with the experience we had with Tittle Brothers Construction!

Best price. Came in time. Roof had been leaking. NoW there is no peaking whatsoever and I just hired them to do another job. Window replacement siding and gutters. I would highly recommend them. Ask do Tammy or Bo.

It broke down to one man for two days at a cost of three thousand dollars for labor. That is just unreasonable.

Put a roof on our garage it leaked all winter was not done right. They didn't even put the right shingles on. They came out and tore it off and started over. When I call the company I get unclear answers and I asked to talk to the owner, he was out of the office. I also needed a door installed it was a pain trying to get them out to do it and then they forgot to put the trim on. Very unprofessional, unorganized, and untrained employees. They do not communicate well. I will be happy when I am done dealing with them.

Great on sale, install and clean up. HOWEVER, in the past year, we have leaks that were not there before the replacement. They have been out FIVE times to repair. They stated that they would be out between 8-10 am on this most recent repair and never called to state that they were delayed. Finally after several phone calls TO them, someone shows up at 5:00 p.m. (not his fault, he was never told to be at my house at a specific time). Again - they added more caulk because the first FOUR times (not including the actual installation) was don incorrectly. Not sure how many ways there are to caulk around flashing, but apparently there is at least six as this fifth repair is the "right way" ... again. Meanwhile, my ceiling is blistered and sagging from the water and melted snow of the past year. I have never written a bad report on anyone, I am generally a very understanding person, but this has gone on too long. I would NOT recommend this company for roofing and have steered neighbors away from them when asked.

The vinyl rails near the bottom on both sides of the garage door and one of the panels had been damaged and cracked exposing the wood underneath. We got a quote from Tittle and attempted to get quotes from three other siding companies. Found out it is difficult to find a company that will just do a siding repair. Because our siding was 3 inch siding Bo from Tittle said 3 inch siding wasn't in stock so would need to order a minimum of 2 boxes. Said if the siding had been 4 inch, they would have been able to just repair it since they keep that size in stock. But ordering the 2 boxes would enable Tittle to replace the vinyl on both sides of the door from bottom to top and replace both rails with extra left over to use in case of any additional damage. Other siding companies I called were not interested in doing a repair job except for Handy-pro, which was approx. $650 for just replacing the 2 rails and one panel. So we decided to go with Tittle, had them replace all front vinyl on both sides of door and rails with extra left to store in case need again. Also since it was the front of the garage, it was important for all vinyl to match. Job was done April 30--a couple weeks after receiving the quote. The two guys, Jay and Allan arrived on time, were efficient and very polite. The garage looked great. However, after they left I noticed long nails coming through the walls on the other side where we hang our yard tools, etc. between the 2x4's. This was a safety hazard so I called Bo, the project manager, to have that corrected. He came over in a couple days, saw the problem and on May 7, Jay and Allan returned and clipped the nails leaving no sharp points. They were again on time, efficient, and very polite. So that issue was quickly resolved. Thus far, we are pleased with the work that was done as well as their responsiveness, friendliness, and efficiency. We would call them again if need other work. However, since they couldn't give us the option of just replacing the two cracked rails and one or two panels of siding, the cost was more than expected.

Initial job I found them using material that was different from what was specified in contract. They corrected and the specified material was ordered and installed. Problem solved but made me suspicious why I was being provided with material that could void my warranty. Since that time at least once per year after wind storms an area of shingles has been torn off and required service. It is the exact same area every time, indicating it has never been properly repaired. Last repair in November was damaged again recently. Company has not responded to my request to repair yet again, which was requested nearly 2 weeks ago. And of course it has now been raining all night. Also, the employee on last repair put a large dent in my gutter that was only 1 year old. They were supposed to arrange for replacement which they have not done. To sum it up, poor quality work, poor repair, poor response time. Avoid this company and don't use GAF brand shingles. I've spent thousands on maintaining my home and I currently have missing shingles and unsightly damaged gutters right above my front door. VERY FRUSTRATED. There are much better roofing companies out there who take pride in their work. Avoid this company.

I contacted TBC for an estimate. An estimate was left for my review and consideration the next afternoon. I had already made up my mind that I was going to use Tittle Brothers but I wanted to see what deal they could offer me that would make me use their company over others that was being offered at this time. In February's copy of Angie's List Monthly they offered $750 off/Free Blown in insulation. It was not in the March booklet but it is in the April Angie's List Monthly booklet. I had a contract written the end of March. I inquired as to if I could take advantage of the coupon since my work was scheduled in April it was declined since they had given me a $750 discount off the original cost of my new roof. Most companies I had previously contacted was only offering $200-$300 discount. Their coupon should be specific EITHER / OR. But I got the best for my money so I was not disappointed. I was not home when the work was performed but believe me when all the workers arrived my neighbor texted me with a blow-by-blow account of what was going on as well as how many workers were onsite. She used TBC several years ago and I remember watching their professionalism in getting the job done and clean up. I was not disappointed. I would like to thank Garret Briscoe for his time and attention if I had a concern or question. I have no complaints -- but it's only been a few weeks. The roof looks great. Thanks

Tittle did an excellent job. Replaced the gutters/leaf guards on our home and garage along with the trim underneath. It looks and functions wonderfully. Have had lots of rain since they were installed and do the job great! We were very pleased with the service and friendly sales and staff that handled it all. Will recommend and call them in the future for any other jobs that are needed.

Porch, gutters, and siding were completed in a timely matter. Pete was very helpful and patient with us while making our decisions. The workers were extremely professional and got the job done, even in the horrible spring weather. We would definitely recommend them to everyone. We would gladly use them again.Thank you Tittle Brothers for fixing our porch, gutters, and siding.

Excellent. They got it torn off and the new roof in place in one day. Cleaned the area up. Very professional and clean. The roof looks great. They followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the roof and service. We are going to have them do our garage roof and the gutters on the house

I felt like it was a lead so that they could get more sales. I probably would not use them in the future. I don't think they did anything wrong, I just had a bad feeling about the situation. The workers did do some caulking.

The gentleman who came over was timely and he finished the job quickly and gave me a thorough report of what he found. It turned out quite well.

They put a hole in my gutter in the back. The brackets that were holding it on were broken. They had about 15 workers there that were working very fast. They made a lot of noise. They caused a stress crack in the foundation block. What stood out the most was that the tile was sticking out and looked like it had been done very quickly. The damage they caused was never repaired.

First contact great. Scott was polite and on time. Signed contract. Set date. Conversation with sales representative after this became difficult. As in few return calls if any. Agreement was for tear off but they didnt bring all materials. They had the roof opened so while waiting for rest of materials wind blew attic insulation all over the attic/crawl space. The men that came were polite and efficient and once materials had arrived installed everything quickly. Their ad boasted of meticulous clean up. I found nails and roofing paper and pieces of shingle all over front area of house yard and driveway. In spring I pulled a roll of nails out of my bushes that I hadnt seen. When the dumpster was removed it ripped out part of brick landscaping. Also part of sales agreement included shingles warranty through manufacturer. You had to provide tittle company with receipts and paperwork. I faxed over everything needed. Then they needed to send it into shingles company. I was supposed to receive the warranty in the mail. I waited for the warranty. And I waited. And I waited. Since one can only go through tittle company for warranty I called them again and again. No luck and no warranty. I would definitely Not recommend them- Ever.

Did not honor the price listed in Angie's List.

Purchased home for rehab. There was a hole in the roof. Needed new roof right away. Immediate response for estimate. They were able to install the roof the next day. A team came out in the morning and completed the job in 1/2 day. Roof looks good and all is well.

Nothing but excuses. We got the runaround about setting up an appointment. The person doing the scheduling was out to lunch, in a meeting, just left for the day, and she'd call us back. Never happened. As more rain was predicted, we called another contractor who came same day and made repairs on the spot. Buyers beware!

They were at her home for a little over a week. We were really happy. They had great follow-up and the crew were great people.

They got the roof done in one day and there were atleast 8 people here. They were prompt and they cleaned up well after themslves. I would highly recommend their service.

In May of 2013 I had Tittle Brothers install attic stairs in my house. I used the stairs twice and the hinge broke. I contacted them in March of 2014. One of their employees came out and said he would be back the following weekend to repair it. He never showed up. He finally called late that Saturday and said he had to order the part and it would take a couple of weeks. I didn't hear from him again. I called the company a few months later to see what the delay was and they said someone would get back to me to come out and fix it. I didn't hear from them after that. After a hail storm went through our area in late July, I received a solicitation in the mail from them about doing repairs to my home that was damaged in the storm - are they kidding me???? I called them and said you have never come out and fixed my $2,000 stairs that broke after using them twice - when are you coming out to fix them? He said they would get back to me - they have not. It is now the end of September. I would never recommend this company or hire them for any job!

I bought the Big Deal and never heard from the contractor. Then I got a message that they were not offering the deal anymore. Even though I bought it when first offered.

gave me an verbal estimate of $500 to repair/replace about 4 shingles. I told him that it seemed quite high for such a simple repair - he told me that because it was on a second story roof, it cost more since he couldn't fix it from the ladder - really? Cost more because a roofer has to go on the roof? I said I had some additional repair work on another house and if we combined them could I get a better price. He said I could so we went to the other house. I asked him for a written estimate, but he said he didn't have any forms, so would send me one. That was two and a half weeks ago - still no estimate. This was part of the Angie's list special buys for $50 which was to include a roof inspection and $100 of repair work. Since he didn't inspect my roof (only looked at the area I pointed out that needed to be repaired), this is clearly just a marketing scheme to make you pay for what would normally be a free estimate. The $100 of "free" labor then just gets rolled-in to an inflated estimate. If you are considering this $50 special on Angie's list, don't. Just as for a free estimate and save the $50!
