Lowe's Of Southfield

Salesman did a good job estimating the project. The material was delivered in a very timely manner. The install was performed by a company contracted by the Southfield Lowes. Here is where the problems began. At first the install company was very responsive. Then the installers started coming to the job late and started missing install days. In fact, a totally different install crew was brought in by the installation company. The second crew was great! But commented they could NOT fix everything the first crew had done...The last contact with the company was a walk-thru as the fence gate drags the ground and has to be lifted up to open and initially the lock on the gate did not close. The installer stated they would be out over the weekend to fix.. Well, they left a message saying, "They could not make it that weekend". And that was the last we have heard from them as the gate continues to drag the ground...We really expected more since the company was contracted by Lowes, but honestly the installation has been a let down.. We will update as the saga continues... OK, Civil Tech (contractor the local Lowes hired) again calls and said they could not repair the fence this weekend after giving us a call earlier this week saying they would. This has been the worst experience with a contractor we have had to date. Not much more we can say than that....

The first install was a little bumpy, but the salesman and the management at the store were attentive and quick to respond. The second install went off without a blink.

The sales people were helpful. I have problems with delivery. I would use them again.

It went ok. I wasn't sure what to expect as a first time homeowner and the face I purchased a foreclosed home. Two of the doors were just boarded up so anything was an improvement. I was satisfied with the service, but as I got other work done on the house, I realized the workmanship could have been better. I learned after the fact that the gentleman who did the installation was an apprentice and the quality could have been better. For example, some of the locks were a loose, etc.

The price was reasonable and the timeliness of the delivery was good. They are always polite.

My neighbor was getting a fence and used Lowe's so I did. he liked them. I found them easy to work with in the store and during the installation. The took care of permit and I had to do nothing. What I was most impressed by was that they trenched this fence the entire yard so nothing could crawl under. They guy said he saw I had a little Yorkie, 4lbs and if they left a gap he could get out. I never even asked him to do it. It took more time and they did not charge me more. I thought I would have to use fill dirt all around. I really appreciated what they did.

I called and had Lowes of Southfield come to my home. I ordered the appliances from books. Lowes then installed my refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and disposal.

I like the layout of store as it is easy to navigate about. I truly believe they have more to offer than their competitors. I received all of the items on sale. Unfortunately, I do not recall the cost. The sales people approached me to offer their services.

From the beginning things started off wrong. They came out to measure our family room we were told they would fax the measurements to the store and we would hear from them within 2 days. We didn't hear from them so we stopped in the store and found out they had our information but no one called. We decided to proceed with the purchase and were told the carpet would be in within 10 days. After two weeks we had not heard from them so we called and at first no one could tell us when the carpet would be in. Instead we were told someone from the installation team would call us later in the day to let us know when our carpet would be in. Guess what! We never heard from them so we called a second time. The carpet was in and we were given an install date. After they installed it the carpet started coming apart so we had to have them come out a second time. The installer was nice but he told me that he thought we might have problems with the section that came apart.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL CRAFTSMEN WITH HARD WOOD FLOORING. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT WITH THEIR TIME. THEY DID NOT EVER HAVE A PROBLEM MATCHING WOOD GRAINS. THEY ARE VERY GOOD.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. I WOULD NOT HAVE CHOSE THEM IF I DID NOT LIKE THEM. THEY SHOWED UP AND GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT AWAY. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW DOORS YET.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO WORK THE DOOR AND I GOT MY FINGER JAMMED. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS VERY WELL. THEY ALSO CAME OUT ABOUT A WEEK LATER TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS WORKING PROPERLY.

THIS COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB. THE CARPET AND TILE LOOKS GREAT. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SERVICES.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT THAT GOOD. THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG DOOR JAM AND THE WRONG DOOR. THEY WERE VERY INCOMPETENT AND UNSURE OF WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE WORK WAS NOT AS GOOD AS I EXPECTED, BUT THE PRICE WAS FINE.

I LIKED SHOPPING ON THE PHONE AND NOT HAVING TO GO TO THE STORE FOR THE PURCHASE. THEY TOOK CARE OF ALL THE DETAILS AND INSTALLATION. THEY DISPOSED OF THE OLD UNIT. THE SERVICE WAS QUICK AND CONVENIENT.

THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL VARIETY TO CHOOSE FROM. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AT ALL. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF MEASURING AND LAYING THE CARPET. THEY CHARGED ME FOR MEASURING, AND THEN TOOK IT OFF THE PRICE OF THE CARPET. THE INSTALLERS DID A GOOD JOB AND DID NOT LEAVE A MESS.

I DIDN'T REALLY LIKE THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY HAD TO COME BACK TO INSULATE THE DOORS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE THAT THEY PROVIDED. THEY WERE LATE AND PERFORMED A BAD JOB.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE COMPANY. THEY ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY WERE ABLE TO FINISH THE JOB IN JUST ONE AFTERNOON. THE DOOR LOOKS GREAT AND WORKS LIKE A CHARM.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEM AND EVERYTHING THEY DID. IT WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MATTER AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL ABOUT THE WHOLE JOB. IF NEEDED, I WOULD REHIRE. THE QUALITY OF THE DOOR IS FANTASTIC.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS. THEY TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THE DEBRIS FOR ME AND I REALLY LIKED THAT. THEY CHARGED ME A REASONABLE PRICE AND I AM HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID.

I AM SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID FOR ME. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. THEY WERE SO NICE TO ME THAT THEY EVEN CAME IN AND MOVED THE FURNITURE. THEN WHEN THEY WERE DONE THEY MOVED IT BACK. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP ALL THE SCRAPS.
