+ -1 moreThey do a GREAT job. Have no problem explaining as they go. Unbelievably knowledgeable. Plus they DO NOT CHARGE $100-$120 EXTRA to dig up your septic cover as all the other septic companies in Farmington/Livonia area r doing. Seriously...how can any company provide a service without access? And charge extra for access ?! Remember the old fashioned businesses who were honest, competant, and charged a reasonable price ? This is Gordon Lang.

+ -1 moreWe went with a different company. We were on the schedule and then before the date I placed a call to them to talk about something else and in that time realized they no longer had me scheduled. Have had them come before and they did a good job, that's why the B rating.

Description of Work: The woman on the phone took the time to understand my unusual request, where as, the company I initially called did not try to understand what I needed and quickly dismissed my request. The individual from this company that came to my home not only completed the task that was requested but went above and beyond. He shared information that helped me to ultimately resolve my sewage problems. I feel confident that this company is truly experienced and is very professional.

Description of Work: They had to dig a few feet down to find the lid to the septic tank ( which added a little more to the cost) and then they drained it. Later he talked to me about the condition of my septic tank and field and discussed with me approx costs to hook up to the main city sewer.

+ -1 moreI called several listed companies, Gordon Lang was the first to return the call and they are very close to us. There was a slight blockage somewhere in the septic field and he taught us how to clear it. as well as hauling away the sewage that had accumulated.
Description of Work: Advice on what to do ourselves to protect the septic field plus draining the septic tank.

+ -1 moreI called several companies; the were the first to answer with a real person. She took some information, offered to schedule us on Thursday. She checked with the driver and they came out the same day, between 2 and 4 as promised and were finished with the task before 4 PM.
Description of Work: Lifted the grass above the septic tank lid as if it were sod, vacuumed the tank, educated us, the replace the grass.
