Description of Work: Had an alarm installed and signed a contract for service. Extremely friendly and professional sales. They were friendly, on time, and had multiple solutions for the concerns I had. A pleasure to deal with. Local company that's been in the area for 50 years. They're based in Southfield and I live in northwest Detroit. | |Quoted ADT and they were beyond aggressive. Rude and argumentative customer service. Called me every day for a week even after telling them no on the first call. I only called for a quote ONCE. ADT uses contractors so there's no guarantee to the quality of the service. They are more expensive and have longer contracts. Went with Guardian and never looked back.

Description of Work: Consultation and Installation of wireless home security alarm. The installer was very thorough, and generous with his time, so we had a complete understanding of the system and it's nuances, by the time he left.

Description of Work: We changed alarm companies at my office. The salesman came out and walked the site, asking smart questions and answering my questions. The installation took all day but went easily. the problem I've had was that I had to get someone out 3 times to get the system programmed correctly. Now that it's done, everything's been a breeze but getting there was a real pain.

Description of Work: My sales rep Mike C. was very professional and understanding. He made me aware of the options available to me and did not try to over-sell. I installed the alarm system because of a recent crime and I was not taken advantage of. I needed a sales follow-up...the alarm certificate for insurance savings and he responded/forwarded to personnel to take care of while he was on vacation. The installer was also very professional, explained the system well and cleaned up. The system is very easy to use.

Description of Work: I called them for a quote, they called me back promptly and I was able to set up an appointment in my home on a Saturday the same week. The sales professional that came out was knowledgable and was able to give advice regarding what type of installation and wasn't pushing to upsell which I really appreciated. He also gave lot's of interesting data about the crime in this area in the last few months and additional details. | |The only thing that was a minor problem was that they were supposed to call back and schedule the installation. When I called them back three days later, they told me they had it scheduled for the next day but I could move it if I needed to. | |The installer came and the installation went pretty smooth and the installer was professional. It took about 4-5 hours in total. We have not had any issues with them since the installation. | |I also had a sales professional from ADT come out. I've used them in the past at a different residence. The sales guy from ADT was not near as knowledgable as the sales guy from Guardian.

Description of Work: They installed my Guardian system and was able to use some of the existing wiring. They also added a nice key fob for the door.

Description of Work: They did just what they said they would do. Assessed need, recommended level of security for my situation, installed, and when there was a small glitch, rapidly resolved the problem. And all has been working excellently ever since.
