glass repair, doors
 + 0 morewe got doors and security doors installed back in November of 2019 , we did not receive right door in the front , it was suppose to have a glass window on it and it doesnt have none. I wrote a review because we werent happy. trying to call them was hard really hard, they did call me back after 6 months of the installation. saying they will take care of it in about a week or two . i even took the bad review i wrote last time. thinking they were really coming out quick .yeah right this is december 30,2020 and our door has not been fixed yet.. Im telling you if you dont want to wait long do go threw them, Yes im a very angry customer

 + -1 moreI had a new front door installed. They did not install the door correctly. I said something to the contractor and he said that he couldn't change anything. There was also a problem with the door handle. I called the company and they said that they would send someone out. They day that they were supposed to come they couldn't get up to my house becuase the city was working on the sidewalks. I have called back several times to reschedule. I can never get in touch with anyone and no one ever returns my calls.

 + -1 moreThey failed to replace the interior door molding. I ordered a door with a peep hole and they installed a door without a peep hole. The installation was done while I was at work so my wife did not know the installation included a peep hole.

 + -1 moreIt went well. The installer showed up when he said he would. He removed the old door and installed the new door. He cleaned up his mess and hauled the old door away. We had used Empire ten years earlier for our home entry doors and were very pleased as we were with this door. The only problem is the fact that the door was a little pricey. For that reason alone we would probably not go with Empire again. We did however get a quality door and quality installation.
Description of Work: Replaced the garage entry door.

 + -1 moreIt took them three attempts to get them on right. The first time I had asked some ornamental guards. They ended up taking them back. The second time they did not have the right number or size of the guards. They finally installed them on the third time. They only will guarantee the paint for 30 days but within a month, I started seeing signs of rust. I ended up having to paint over them myself.
Description of Work: I called them to install window guards.

 + -1 moreThe price was a bit high, but I got customized glass, exactly how I wanted it. The salesman even came back a second night after going to their glass manufacturer and getting a piece of the blue glass I thought I wanted so I could be certain of the color before ordering. I love my front door and Empire did a great job!
Description of Work: We had a solid steel front door and sidelights with glass that we didn't like. Empire has several styles of glass to choose from, all made in their Southfield factory. We chose a style we liked, and then personalized it by changing the color of the glass and the caming. The glass took on the longer end of the estimate to be completed (I believe 6 weeks), but they came out right away after the glass was made. The workers were polite and professional. Installed the new glass in my sidelights; removed the front door, cut out the hole and put in the glass, sealed it and replaced the front door, all in about an hour or two. They did the work right on my front porch.
