Due to highly satisfactory work performed by Electrician, Lenny Zimberg, in the past, I contacted him to do additional work on my wiring system in the basement. I previously removed my basement ceiling tile along with the paneling and drywall along the walls of the basement in order to waterproof the basement. During and after removal of the ceiling tiles and walling, I noticed needed and unneeded wires that were hanging and were in need to be rearranged and/or removed for usability and safety reasons. I planned on adding new ceiling tile after the repair but Lenny made a recommendation to significantly help me in cost savings and make my basement more of a pleasure to view. Lenny put in a new lighting system and said he would make the basement look pretty. After the job was complete, Lenny called me to view the basement and I was highly impressed with the outcome. Lenny not only removed unnecessary wires and placed the hanging wires in the proper location but removed unnecessary wood on the ceiling and input LED lights throughout the basement. I didn't even request LED lights in the beginning but due to Lenny's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction and make my previously dull, poorly lighted, and depressing basement my basement is now pleasurable to enter and brighter in addition to being able to view part of the basement while turning the switch for lighting when entering and exiting the door to and from the kitchen. The once depressing basement due to poor lighting and unpleasant unorganized wood and hanging wires from the ceiling Lenny not only removed the unnecessary wood but made the layout of the wood along with the LED lights into a design on the ceiling and recommended how I can paint the wood to make the basement attractive while saving money at the same time. I only requested the wires be put in a safe arrange but Lenny went way beyond my expectations. My neighbor and friend are highly impressed. Other than the cost of the LED lights, no other cost was added for the large amount of additional labor and time. In addition to his recommendations and dedicated work in addition to highly supervising his staff, I cannot recommend Lenny enough. There are no words to express my satisfaction. I am highly empresses with Lenny Zimberg of Designer Electric. I have an old house and suddenly the electric in certain system in certain parts of the house suddenly wouldn t go off and then suddenly come on, especially the furnace and kitchen at the same time. Other parts of the house did this too. Went months without heat because we couldn t find an electrician that knows about older houses. Lenny came out and knew the problem right away. The day he came out he got the power working temporarily until he came back a few days later with parts to fix the problem. Problem was fixed with rewiring, putting in a ground cable, and installed an updated box to replace the fuse box made in the 1950 s. Also upgraded from 60 amp to 100 amp although I requested 200 amp but due to Lenny s honesty and outstanding business ethics I decided to stay with 100 amp. Lenny told me it isn t necessarily for 200 amp and he will do if I want it but the additional price isn t worth it because the small size of the house. Saved $1,000 because of Lenny s honesty, knowledge, and advice. Professional, honest, and highly knowledgeable in the electrical field. Highly recommend and will hire again, if needed for other issues. Has nothing but positive ratings from all customers.

Lenny upgraded my breaker box to a 200 amp box with a power transfer system included in the box. He also added a 20 amp line running to the outside of the house so I could plug in my RV, and ran a power transfer line to outside so I could hook up a generator to the breaker box in the event of a power outage. All work was first class, done in a professional manner, on time and on budget. He and his employees were polite, professional and answered all of my questions. I will use this company again for any future projects.
