I did not hire this service nor did they do any work for me.

I went with American Standard Roofing because of their positive reviews on Angie's List. They had the best price of the 4 quotes I had gotten, but at this point I wish I had gone with Kearns Brothers. It ended up being a whole mess of things I wasn't happy about. It's bound to happen from time to time with any business, but I just seem to have gotten the lucky straw. From a poor job cleaning up (I was picking up debris, plastic, nails and other garbage for at least a week after they were done - trash was even left on my roof), to damage to the columns on my front porch (for which I received a whopping $100 discount, like I could repair two story columns for that much), to oil stains in my driveway from the crew that put on my gutters (that are still there after weeks of being told something would be done). Eventually, I expect they will try to make this right as they seem interested in doing so, but I am sure you can understand why I wouldn't be happy with my experience overall. I'd be hard pressed to recommend them unfortunately, despite how polite they've been.

ASR did a good job. The price was very fair and they did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. This is the second home I've owned where I've had a new roof installed by American Standard. American Standard will install shingles from any of the major manufacturers. Generally, they quote Tamko Heritage or GAF. I went "off the board" and requested Owens Corning Duration. ASR's price was several hundred dollars better than the next closest competitor for that make of shingle. Aside from price, I was impressed by how clean my yard & garage were upon completion of the job (they were virtually spotless and debris free!), as well as the fact you don't have to pay these guys a single penny until the job is completed to your satisfaction. The manufacturer's warranty is supplemented with a 30-year labor & workmanship warranty from ASR at no extra charge. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that my job started one day behind schedule. No big deal. Some proactive communication from their business office would've been appreciated, but when I called, they were helpful and answered my questions to my satisfaction. One last point - it rained during my roofing job. The crew pays very careful attention to the weather forecast and stripped the old shingles in sections to ensure no portion of the roof was "un-shingled" during the wet weather. I really appreciated that.

ASR did a fantastic job. Their crew was prompt and polite. The price was what was quoted.

Excellent service. Sales rep Mike presented quote & answered all questions, no push to purchase additional items I wasn't interested in. Less than 2 weeks later crew arrived to install new roof, finished up same day. Did a nice job & picked up all debris around yard. Recommend, very pleased & would hire again. Give them a chance for your business.

The roofers showed up as promised and were done in a day. Overall, I'm very satisfied! No question that I would hire them again. I was surprised, however, to see that my roof exceeded the limits on the very-competitive roofing deal (about $4500 for a new roof, subject to size limitations). But they showed me the legitimate-looking analysis that supported their argument and it still ended up being reasonably priced.

Mike, from American Standard Roof, came out and looked over my roof and said that the roof did not need to be replaced and I only need a carpenter to fix the siding damage! Mike did a complete walk around with me and reviewed the roof to confirm his opinion to me that he roof had another 4 to 5 years yet and that everything looked good. I appreciated Mike's honesty! Thank you Mike and American Standard.

American Standard Roofing did a fabulous job for a fair price. Their roofing crew was prompt, professional and did top notch work in all regards. They arrived on time and got the job done in one day. They totally cleaned up the work area when done and left the area spotless. I have nothing but the highest compliments for their workmanship and concern to get job correctly.

Let me first say, finding the right roofing company was very complicated ordeal. The cost estimates ranged in the thousands. Companies had a good, better, best and ultimate price points and a few had just one. Personally, I would stay away from companies that had multiple price points to apply a roof. The roofing estimates should be based on size of the roof, which is measured in squares ( 100 square feet equal one square). The next factor is the cost of each square. The cost can vary by the quality of the shingles, under layment, ice guard ect. The underlayment when done "right" should be a constant and not be a factor in the price. Prior to joining Angie’s list to assist in looking for the right company, I became frustrated with the gimmicks the estimators used. Fortunately, I discovered American Standard Roofing Company. I was impressed with their website and the “right way” to install a roof. The price was significantly lower and the quality was excellent. The only reason I would get other estimates was to ensure the size of my roof. I would suggest that anyone in the market to get a new roof is to get an aerial measurement (usually done by the roofing company) so that you would be able compare with the estimate given by the salesmen. The American Standard was the only company I found to have 30 yr one time transferable guarantee. The owner Arnold Goodman came out to answer any of my concerns before I signed. The shingles and trash dumpster arrived the same day as the install, so that way shingles didn't sit atop my roof overnight or days prior. I was not inconvenienced by having may cars sit in the street the night prior to the install do to the trash dumpster sitting in my driveway. The company did the job in one day. The workmen were polite and respectful. I was happy with the results.

I don't recall the price, it was a very good price. Everything was an A. What I liked about their work was initially the price and then secondly, the quality.

Extremely well! American Standard was very punctual and did quality work. I would definitely use again.

Roof crew arrived at 7am in the morning and started the tear off and job was completed by 7pm that evening. One crew member had to come back the following day since they were short two bundles of shingles. Crew was great, put tarps around the perimeter of the house and cleaned up everything. I did find a few stray nails in the lawn which is too be expected. I would highly recommend them based upon price, service and quality of the work performed.

Great, All work was done promptly, siding job makes garage looks brand new. I have a small child so they did a real nice clean up job as well.

The job went great! The crew arrived about 7:30a, began work immediately. They took an hour break for lunch. They worked hard finished the job in one day and did a great job cleaning up. The owner Arnie was very responsive to all my questions and very professional. They gave us a excellent price and the roof looks terrific. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors

From the quoting visit through completion and being paid, the company showed great professionalism and knowledge. I did not have to pay anything until the job was complete and inspected. In fact, I didn't pay anything until over a week after the job was complete. My home is a typical Warren ranch and required about 27 squares of shingles. The delivery of shingles came at 8:00am and the job was complete by 4:00pm. I had 6 other quotes from other companies, but only American Standard gave me an option as to the brand of shingle I could have installed (price varied by brand). I am very happy all around with the job they did and would recommend them to anyone needing a roof!

When it started to rain, my roof had a leak and they sent the crew out in the rain to fix the leak. It is a great roof and their service is top notch. Excellent, Excellent service.
