Mike came out to quote the job and was very well informed. The other companies I called had salespeople do the quoting and you could tell they didn’t have experience based on some of the answers they gave to basic questions. Mike is an experienced roofer who knows the business. Marian in the office was very responsive to any questions and requests for references. She also contacted me very quickly after I submitted the on-line request for a quote. It couldn’t have been more than an hour after I hit ‘send’. I opted to leave it as is but Marian also got right on the case when the shingle supplier’s truck cracked part of my driveway. (While I asked up front about concrete damage from the refuse truck I was not aware until they arrived that the supplier was actually more likely to cause damage due to the weight.) The crew was polite, took care to cover the landscaping with tarps (although a different tarp fabric may avoid bush tops from browning), and cleaned up after the job very well. From all appearances they did an excellent job removing the old roof, replacing any defective wood and laying the new shingles. I did have them come back to fix some drip edge that I didn’t like in one area since it caused an uneven shingle edge. The horizontal edge of the drip edge was haphazardly cut in one part. I dealt with Chuck the supervisor and he was very responsive. Travis from Service did the fix and he was excellent. He left to get a shorter drip edge which was more appropriate for my situation and he made everything perfect. Problems can happen on any job and how a company deals with them is telling. In this case they did everything right to make sure I was satisfied with the job. A good company at a good price and my new roof looks great.

American Standard Roofing re-roofed two houses for me this week and I couldn't be more pleased. On top of the best price for the best materials and the longest warranty, I got a SWAT team of a roofing crew led by Jay. The guys showed up in clean trucks and bright clean shirts at 7:45 and got to work immediately. They finished the first house and garage by 4:00 and that included re-decking the entire house. On the second house and garage they were done by 2:00. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell they were ever here. I think that my drive and patio looked better than when they started! Get all of the prices you want, but do yourself a favor and hire these guys.

They finished putting a new roof on my house yesterday 6/22/17. Very pleased with the quality and pricing. The owner, Arnie was involved from start to end. The supervisor, Chuck came to check on the job after it was completed. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up after completing the job. I would definitely recommend them.

We were very pleased with the bid process and the overall cost for our new roof and gutters. However a last minute job offer took us away from the area. I called and was promptly put in touch with Arnie the owner, he was very professional and could have charged me up to 25% of the contract. Instead he was very accommodating and only had us cover the cost of permits. I would highly recommend his work (as my neighbors have all used him) and would definitely do business again if work ever brings me back to the area.

Roof was great, gutters had one mistake they corrected error within 48 hours. Very happy with the job they did.

Went well. Only complaint is that they did not replace the metal flashing on/around my roof (other than around the chimney). I asked them to replace it and they refused because they said it was partially under the siding. Didn't make sense to me. Otherwise good.

The crew showed up when they were scheduled, they worked the entire day non-stop. They finished the job the second day. They were very pleasant and the supervisor answered all our questions. They cleaned up after they left and we were very impressed how quickly they did this. We would definitely recommend them. Their pricing is fair and they are willing to work with you.

We were provided with a perfectly acceptable roof replacement estimate, on a contract form loaded on the backside with terms and conditions so shockingly full of warranty red flags we simply could not believe our eyes. Just a few examples include: Paragraph 3: company may substitute contracted materials with an inferior product and the customer is entitled only to the difference in cost without an opportunity to decline the change. Paragraph 19: company may off-load its warranty responsibilities to a third party (who knows where), after which time the customer can make a claim only to the third party, not the company. Paragraph 23: Customer agrees to make payments to the company as indicated in the contract, even if the work is delayed and scheduled, but not yet completed. Paragraph 28 (read this one carefully, with special attention to the punctuation): "American Standard Roofing LLC shall not be liable for (a) Delays, failures, or omissions due to any cause whatsoever. Not due to Contractors gross or willful negligence, whether arising due to labor, disturbances..." There are many other poison pills, but this last one - an intentional typo ( with both a sentence-ending period after "whatsoever" and a fresh capitalization on "Not") - is just too big to swallow. Bottom line: no matter how good their estimate may appear, their warranty is utterly worthless. Buyer Beware.

It went well. Team of 9 had the job completed in under 6 hours and they cleaned up quite nicely after they were done. Also, I improved their cost rating to an A as they matched a lower quote that I received from one of their competitors.

As good as it can when you're dropping thousands of dollars!!

We didn?t have any work done. Hopefully we were going to be able to sell the house without having to replace the roof. We don?t have a finally answer on that, but if we do have to replace the roof, I do plan on using them. There was no charge for the estimate at all. They were very prompt. The gentleman that came out was very honest with me. He actually pointed something out that the two other roofing companies that my brother-in-law had come out hadn?t even mentioned. It was just being very thorough. My brother-in-law had a couple come out and I had American Standard come out.?If I had needed to use them the estimate would have been great. They actually did not have the lowest quote, but they will price match with another quote; which is awesome. I know the quality of the work they use and the quality of the product they use and the work they do.

Despite a lack of communication due to an incorrect phone number on file, the job was completed satisfactorily today. A supervisor also came by today to discuss the miscommunication and its affect on their previous rating.

Efficient professional and excellent workmanship.

My driveway is still stained from their gutter installers truck. I was pulling nails and debris off my lawn and back porch for more than 6 months after the job was done.

Overall the job completed is satisfactory although we have one issue. The workers were awesome and they cleaned up the yard leaving no issues. The issue comes in with one side of the Gutter replacement. They replaced a board behind the gutter and did not paint or cover with vinyl so there is about five inches of a bare wood board showing below the gutter and we were told that they do Not paint or cover it and would Not come back out to do it, even after we sent them a picture. They said it would not Rot for three to five years!! Thanks for that.

The whole process went very, very smooth. They worked with me on price, showed up when they said they would, and my yard was cleaned up before they left- you would never know someone was even there. Very happy with the results.

Crew was polite and answered all my questions. Took pictures of damaged roof before repair was begun, which I requested be sent to me. Got them same day. Rolled yard with magnet for any leftover nails. Had them do the garage roof in January 2017. They had to shovel 3" of snow off roof before they could do the tear away. Great crew again. I not only would hire them again, I did to do my garage six months after house was done.

It took less than a day. They cleaned up pretty well.

My wife and I highly recommend American Standard Roofing. They were very professional, had excellent workmanship, and a fair and honest price. The workers showed up on time, and except for a 15 minute break, never stopped working. The workers cleaned the area up before leaving. The roof and gutter work were done as the salesman promised, there were no problems. The supervisor made sure we were happy with the work. We had a very positive experience, and would highly recommend this company.

Arnie was great - he came in person and explained everything. They did a Great job with quality, with reasonable price (not lowest of the four quotes I got but still very commutative) and with a great after sales service. Very pleasant to work with. Will hire them anytime for any other work.
