Arnie, the boss did a great job analyzing the roof to be replaced. He gave us an accurate quote on the spot, and was able to commit to a firm date a week later after we'd had several competitive quotes. He is a good business man with a focus on doing a good job first and foremost, rather than overcommiting or making an over competitive offer. He was also able to act as a businessman when it came to competition, which I regard as a professional approach. Our quote was competitive after discussion and remained firm, even with some challenges during realization. Originally planned for 1.5 days consecutively, they were challenged by thunderstorms on two out of three days and hence needed a bit longer. Not their fault. No extra charges. And a top job to boot, The replaced skylights not only look good, but are well sealed, and the whole roof looks very good indeed. I was impressed by the good service and reachability by phone for any even small questions. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

When I first contacted American Standard, we had over a week straight of rain, hence the leaking roof discovery. This caused a delay from American Standard performing the necessary repairs. However, once the rain subsided for part of a afternoon the repairs were completed, promptly. American Standard was professional over the phone and in person. They provided exceptional pricing and service; they even worked with my home warranty company! I would definitely recommend American Standard Roofing to any future potential seekers.

Everything went well everything was cleaned up and done in one day.Arnie Goodman was a pleasant man to work with and got the job started quickly as possible,which was somewhat of a problem because of the amount of rain we had. He even matched a competitor price. Everything went very well.

I decided on the color of my roof that same day, but Mike suggested that I call the office up to be given addresses of all the roofs I may be interested in. On April 14th, I called the office and got the addresses of 4 homes (previous customers) with the roofs I wanted to take a look at, and I'm glad that I did because the roof I originally picked out I did not like how it looked. After looking at the roofs I called the office and left a message to change the color of the shingle I had picked out which was autumn brown and changed it to natural timber. Barb called back and left me a message on April 14th @ 3:23PM, saying that she got my message to change the roof color from Autumn Brown to Natural Timber. Day of install April 25th it rained, the owner Arnie called and left me a message saying that they were going wait out the rain. The crew started removing the old roof around 1:30-2:00PM. Things appeared to be going fine until I went upstairs into my home office and looked out the window and to my surprise the crew was installing the Autumn Brown shingles and not the Natural Timber that I asked them to switch to. I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW MAD AND UPSET I WAS, all that driving around looking at different roofs for nothing. I asked them to stop installing the roof, but Arnie called and said let them finish since they were nearly done anyway (job completed around 8:30-9:00PM) and he would come out to my home the next day which he did. I was so mad about this roof that I did not want to pay for it. Arnie made me an offer to replace my existing gutters with new ones free of charge to help compliment the roof color, he said he would hate to see a perfectly fine roof go to waste. I like Arnie and Mike, I would definitely do business with them again, it's not Arnie's fought that his secretary forgot to change my shingle color like she said she did. I would definitely deduct money from Barb's (the secretary) pay check to pay for the gutter's, that way she will may sure she does her job more accurately and efficiently in the future.

American Standard Roofing overall did very good. They were very professional. The owner came out and talked to me and he explained everything to me, explained their warranty to me, what they would do, how the process would go and everything, so they were very professional, courteous. They were here on-time. They were here 8 o'clock in the morning. They delivered the products, put them up on the roof and the guys were here at about 8:15 and started looking off the roof and by 6 o'clock that evening everything was done, so I thought it was a great job. I have already recommended them to my brother, although he lives in Flint Township, but I did recommend American Standard Roofing to him.

The crew arrived and started about 8:30 am. The crew consisted of people who had worked for American Standard for many years. They tore off the entire roof and installed a new roof including four replacement skylights. In several places rotten wood was removed and new sheeting was installed. It was truly a pleasure to have them on my property. They were very polite with any queries that I had. They also put new shingles on my gazebo and storage shed so that everything matched. When they were finished, the site was completely cleaned up and they were gone. (about 6pm ) The job looks wonderful. American Standard Roofing did everything that they said that they would in the initial estimate. The new roof had its first test about ten days after it was installed. We were hit with sixty five mph winds and not a shingle moved. Overall they did an excellent job.

They showed up a little late but called me 10 minutes before our appointment and let me know they were 10 minutes behind. I appreciated that. They explained everything to me and left no questions in my mind. I was impressed and impressing me is hard to do. I was ready to hire them on the spot but we had to wait for the insurance adjuster........................Unfortunately my insurance company has only authorized a repair and not a roof replacement. Sorry guys! When I am ready for a new roof I am calling you!

They showed up on time, got the job done in a single day. They delivered exactly what they said they would. The clean up of the old roof materials was generally good, but not necessarily perfect as I still found some small roof pieces and nails in my planting beds and lawn for several months afterwards. Overall, I was very satisfied

They did a really good job, and they gave me a 30 year warranty. You can't beat that! I was very pleased. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after themselves well. I had company arriving later that day and I was worried about having construction going on when they arrived. They told me they would be done and gone by the time my company arrived, and they absolutely were!

Very responsive and gave excellent follow up after initial contact. Representatives were professional but also friendly and listened patiently to special requests, with no "sales pressure" at any time. Excellent technical knowledge, with suggestions to improve the roof function. Prior to selecting the final shingle color, they were able to provide locations for each shingle style considered which allowed us to view it actually installed on a home. Crew was hard-working, careful, and completed job promptly. Very good clean up with care taken to not damage the shrubs around the house. Quality of the work was excellent. We would definitely use American Standard again!

It went great they were fast and efficent and I would absolutely go back to them. Wonderful company. Highly Reccommend

The crew showed up on time - management was present at the start and checked in during the day and everything was out of there at day's end. No messes left behind and the crew chief and I shook hand and said good-bye as the manager was showing up to check it out and get paid.

The roof was in pretty bad shape with a bunch of rotted boards. American Standard Roofing quoted a very competitive price which included all wood repair in the estimate. The final bill was spot on with the estimate. Took a few weeks to get on the schedule (which included a holiday to push things back a bit), but the work was done quickly and professionally. Only one of the guys who showed up to do the work appeared to speak much english, but overall they did a good job (on a sweltering couple of days).. The roof and siding look great. There was a small stack of spare shingle just left laying in the grass, but other than that the cleanup was thorough. Would recommend these guys.

Mike came to our home at the scheduled time to give us an estimate for replacing our gutters. About a week and a half later, a crew of two men removed our old gutters and installed new gutters. The two men were very experienced and completed the installation in about 6 1/2 hours. One of the installers, Peter, told me that he had been installing gutters for 13 years. The quality of the new gutters was excellent. Mike, who is very personable, was excellent at explaining the installation. He impressed me as being a very knowledgeable, honest person. Our experience with American Standard Roofing was superb, and I would definitely recommend them!

I found them to be prompt, helpful, and professional. They gave detailed information about the process, so I knew exactly what to expect. They did the job as soon as possible, having to work around weather conditions and the crew was prompt and hard-working. They did a good job on clean-up (They use magnets to clean-up nails from the ground). They promised to come back after the snow melted to use the magnets again if we discovered nails left behind. That is exactly what happened and they were true to their word. I love the new roof and would definitely recommend ASR to others.

This was a great experience from the time I called to schedule an estimate to the actual install. Arnie, Mike, Barb and the crew were professional, courteous, punctual and extremely helpful. I was very impressed with the clean up - I didn't have to pick up one nail!

I just got the estimate from this company - they were very professional, punctual, price was competitive, excellent explanations, were able to give estimates for all the services I needed. Probably would have gone with them except next company who gave estimate recognized my leak and damage was related to hail (which I was not aware of as first-time home owner, and were in area and knew the storm had damaged several in my neighborhood, and helped get claim filed with insurance company, which was appreciated given replacing a roof is expensive).

Solid job. Looks great. No leaks 18 months later Could have been a bit more careful picking up all the old roof material from the yard and planting beds I found shingle pieces and nails for months later.

It went really well. The people showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. The crew knew each other and was familiar in working with one another. The work was done on time and a walkthrough was provided after to ensure all of my expectations were met.
