Description of Work: A complete tear off and new roof for entire house except south roof (which is newer). Weather was iffy, so they crew worked in small sections, taking care not to expose too much of the roof in case they had to throw tarps over it. They were very professional, completed the job in one day and cleaned up extremely well. Price was very competitive with other roofers I've used. The coordinator had to call the dumpster people three times to get the dumpster removed, the only small wart in otherwise flawless service. I would use them again.

Description of Work: We need a new roof and my next door neighbor had her's done about 2 years ago. Our houses are almost identical except we have a larger family room in the back. She pulled her receipt and her sq. footage was 2,300 and the company ended up taking back 2 1/2 packages of shingles. With this knowledge, we purchased this deal with the understanding that we might have to come out of pocket a few hundred dollars. They came out and measured our roof and told us it was 3,200 sq. foot and the price would be $ 7,600.00. My husband and I cannot afford that. We are just getting over dealing with a flood in our kitchen and all of the extra expenses that the insurance would not cover. We would like a full refund of our purchase and plan to look at other options.

Description of Work: Anew roof was installed.I spent a lot of time getting at least many free estimates,because this a large home improvement.I have never dealt with a construction or company so I wanted to get it right.They came right away for the free estimate .After studying all of the free estimates,I went with them.They pulled the permit from the city and scheduled the date to begin.They were very punctual and did an excellent clean-up.Their policy is no money is paid until the job is completed.I recommend them for future homeowners.I would definitely use them again.Thank you to the owner and all the workers, American Standard Roofing.

Description of Work: They were very professional. They were punctual and neat. There was a crew of about 10 to 12 men who worked quietly and with care.They did a pretty good job of clean up afterwards. They were here at 7:00 a.m. and worked until about 6 p.m. Someone even came the next day to go over everything with us and make sure we were happy. We did not have to give a deposit or pay anything until we were completely satisfied with the job. We would highly recommend this company to our friends. (Their estimate was great too!)

Description of Work: This roofing bid was a contender but the contractor that I typically work with on my houses -- who was initially not available to do the work -- had an a opening after a job was cancelled so I went with him.

Description of Work: When I orginally called American Standard Roofing, I thought that a leaky roof was the cause of water damage to the bedroom ceiling. Michael came to inspect the roof, said that although the shingles are old, it did not appear that any were missing and reported that the roof appeared to be good condition. So, he continued to seek the source of the problem and discovered a leaky pipe in the access to the attic. Before Michael's discovery, we had had two other roofing companies, a gutter installer and a plumber inspect for the cause of the problem. None had a clue. Michael then told us about a good plumber, called the guy for us and made the appointment. Scott Tibbenham, the owner of SOS Plumbing Services who is also highly recommended on Angie's List, came out and fixed the problem for an excellent price. I would highly recommend both companies for their integrity as well as the quality of service.
