Before I got this done, the basement was leaking at that wall in puddles. 6 months after the job, very heavy rains this year, and winter melting into spring, not a drop of water has come in. Now I can finish the basement when I have a budget! The only thing I wish went better was their cleanup. They left quite a bit of dust debris from cutting things inside my basement and had to wash anything I left down there for the job (my dad stayed there while I worked so I didn't know this was happening). They also left chunks of concrete on my lawn from their cement work. This said, they were far less expensive than the other company that quoted me. Maybe it won't last as long, but I just couldn't budget the other place.
Description of Work: I bought a house that needed a bit of foundation work and waterproofing. They put up metal beams that they cemented into the basement floor and those waterproofing wall things.

Very well. I would definitely hire him and his crew again if my house needs further work of this nature.
Description of Work: Mr. Yadloski helped me by adding support posts under the main beam of my 1925 house. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, and his crew were polite and clean as they quickly provided the support my house needed.

Bill Yadlosky is is a soft-spoken, no-nonsense builder who is an expert on poured concrete and block wall construction. When I purchased my current house in Ann Arbor, I knew from two prior renovations that the Ann Arbor city area has an issue with foundation walls that have been back-filled with hydraulic clay soil. This type of soil year-after-year eventually cracks and pushes the foundation walls inward. This was the case with my current house. The poured foundation walls were cracked and buckling. I've renovated two other houses, one on the Old West Side and another just west of the city limits in Scio Township. When I need an expert on foundation construction and one who knows how to repair damaged walls, I call one of the best experts that I know. Be aware that Bill does not advertise and has a wait-list that goes several months in advance. If you plan to use his services, plan well in advance. In this last house, Bill showed up on time with a full crew and, in one day, installed 13 painted I-beams in my basement. When he did the estimate prior to the install, he explained where the I-beams needed to be installed and why they needed to be in those particular locations. He and his crew left the basement cleaner than what they found at the start of the project.
Description of Work: Installed 13-ea 4x6-inch steel I-beams to keep the basement walls from collapsing due to hydraulic pressure on outside basement walls.
