Description of Work: We have used Misty Ridge since we moved here to Ann Arbor in 2002. We had some ailing trees including our white oak tree, elm trees and all of our blossoming trees. Misty Ridge brought them all back to health and has maintained all of our trees ever since. Their knowledge is very broad and they are very professional.

Description of Work: Trimmed large parkway tree for the second time in 4 or 5 years. I feel Misty Ridge brought this big shade tree back to health and extended its useful like. |A few years ago Misty Ridge first worked on this tree, estimated the job including options, educated me about what to expected of this tree -- what could and could not be done and what is its normal growth and die-back pattern. They trimmed and shaped this badly neglected maple, which had also been mis-shapened by utilities trimming for power lines. The next 2 years they fertilized the tree. It was a pleasure to work with Misty Ridge from the arborist to the people in the office. Highly recommended. I did not put in a cost of service, because I cannot remember it.

+ -1 moreAll my interaction with the company was very professional and courteous. The original scheduled date was bumped due to weather conditions which I was totally understandable and I had no issues with that. I was not on site when the work was done, however, my neighbor gave me a good report that the crew was very careful and there were no issues in my absence. I left a tarp on my driveway/lawn with the instructions to please leave the chipped wood on it. When I arrived home, the chips were on the tarp and the trunks were cut down into smaller pieces. (Some of these trunk pieces were still big enough to either use as bonfire "chairs" so we definitely still need to cut them down smaller for burning). Any time I called the office with any questions, they were always very helpful in answering all my concerns and making me feel at ease. I was very happy with the work and felt the price was fair -- I will definitely hire this company again in the future for my tree trimming needs.
Description of Work: I had two very tall evergreens (about 20-25 feet) next to my garage that I needed taken down because they were not doing well and were just too close to our home. I wanted the wood to be mulched and cut for firewood. I also had a Japanese maple growing between my house and a pergola that needed to be topped off and trimmed.

+ -1 moreI called for an estimate and the owner was at our house the next day. He gave me his quote for all the work requested and I said I would call him back. I called the next day and gave him my approval. He sent his crew out within and couple of days. They arrived at the designated time and completed all the work requested. They removed all clippings and used their mchipper to get rid of the dead tree. This dead tree was probably 50 feet up. I would recommend this company to anyone who could use any of their services. This is a company with integrity and one who stands behing their word.
Description of Work: The company came out and removed a dead tree, topped of our giant lilac trees and cut back 3 very large shrubs.

Description of Work: Misty Ridge removed a large branch from a tree... It was impossible to get a truck/cherrypicker to the tree... so the crew had to climb the tree to remove the branch ..
