2-6 employees most work is performed in house, but licensed professionals are used where appropriate licensing is required I.E plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC, etc. I have used the same subcontractors for many years and on multiple projects. Bryant contracting has been in business since 2011, but the owners have a total of 70 years’ experience between the three of them. You will find that one or all of the owners will work alongside their employees to help ensure a quality work on time and under budget.

Description of Work: They were hired to paint several rooms in my home. It did not go well. First I was told that one of the painters had an accident and would it be okay to delay one day. I said that would be fine. Then it was that they were behind because of this injured worker and they would need to push the start day back again. I agreed to it. When they finally did come to work I asked this worker how he was feeling because I did believe that he was injured and he said he had not been hurt. That the job before mine had taken longer than expected so that was why they needed to push back the start date. Strike one; I hate to be lied to. Then it was one thing after another. The job had been bid out before they started and then they wanted more money. I bought the best paint from Home Depot which was guaranteed to cover in one coat. Bryant Contracting complained about the paint that it didn't cover. We had to make three more trips to the store to buy more stuff. Then the final strike came when Bryant wanted another $1300.00 to finish painting our rooms. I just told them to take their paint brushes and rollers and leave. My husband and I finished the painting ourselves. In the end they had not completed any of the rooms.

Response from Bryant Contracting
Sorry that you did not have a good experience with Bryant Contracting. The purchase that you made was for time and materials, and not quoted to finish the job. I offered to give you a firm number on the project and would include the cost of paint in the price. You declined and said that you would pay for the time put into the job. I sent workers 3 painters there for 3 days and everything was painted how you requested; you are correct the BEHR paint did not cover as advertised. Had I recommended BEHR paint I would feel slightly responsible for their short comings. I did however recommend a Sherwin Williams product that we are more familiar with and was more affordable than what you purchased. The recoat was an additional day of work for three workers which I offered to complete at the hourly rate purchased on special from Angies List (600.00). Before beginning the project I expressed my concern that the given scope of work would take more than the 40 hours purchased in the deal and that the normal billable hour would be used once the 40 hours had been exhausted. Since we worked a total of 56 hours to get it to get the job painted per your direction there was an additional 800.00 dollars of work that was preformed, which you neglected to pay in full. I wish you and your husband the best of luck moving forward and would have preferred coming to agreement on completing the job. Andrew

Provider called to set appointment. I requested a TV mount package that would swing a little way from the wall and he quoted an additional $250.00 which I felt was much too high.

I apologize for the pricing on our mounts, but the line that I carry is a high quality mount double stub with two cast iron arms. The retail value on this mount is 499.00 (MSRP), but I recognize that it is a lot of money to install a TV on the wall so I provided this mount for 250.00 (my wholesale cost). The reason I recommend this mount is because I have had ZERO call backs on the mount not holding level or plumb. I will install a mount that a customer provided, albeit if there is a call back because of the above issues or additional time is needed for set up and installation there would be an additional cost for time consideration. The above customer was installing a 52” television that needed to articulate away from the wall. I never had the chance to see the TV since the install was never performed and all of their money was refunded via Angieslist.com. I have also taken the time to provided three links from BESTUBUY.com of mounts that would be needed for their installation. You will find that my price is average since I have highlighted mounts more affordable and more expensive that the mount that I recommend. I have also included a link to the mount that I use online from an online retailer. If there is anything I can do to make this correct for you and your wife please contact me at your connivance. Andy was excellent, showed up on time and performed the job as promised. When we needed an additional part for the install, Andy ran out to Home Depot and purchased the parts needed. He was extremely polite and clean, even putting up with a million questions from my 3 year old! Would highly recommend Andy's work to everyone.

Great communication with Andrew from Bryant Contractors from the start. After he came out and inspected where I wanted TV to be mounted (above fireplace), it was determined that it would be an almost impossible job to complete without a lot of extra work needing to be done and possible damage to the fireplace. At that time, we both agreed to not complete the transaction.

Andy mounted a 47" TV over our fireplace mantel. He was extra careful as the bracket was mounted through tile and into the brick chimney. He also recommended that we house the components in a cabinet in the back of the room for a cleaner look. He ran HDMI, power and an infrared repeater. The installation was very clean. Andy is also a perfectionist; the TV and speaker was perfectly centered over the fireplace.

Tried calling 3 different installers and all of them were unresponsive and unwilling to setup an appointment. Andy was the only one to respond and schedule an appointment in a timely manner. Excellent planning and setup of our Onkyo HT-S9400THX home theater in a box. Very technically knowledgeable about the system unlike some installers that simply know how to run wires and plug them in. The installation was smooth and everything worked. The whole system installed cost barely over a grand and was well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.

I recently purchased a large screen plasma t.v. from Circuit City, and was shocked on how much they are charging for installation!I also got many quotes from other companies but they were just about the same as the big stores. When it comes to hanging a Plasma t.v. on the wall over a fireplace I didn't want to risk doing it myself and have it all go wrong! One of my co-workers suggested Bryant Contracting and said they were very happy with them. I set up a time with Andy to meet at our home and give us a quote. From beginning to end he was excellent! He showed up on time for installation, and was courteous and professional. He knew his stuff, and took the time to show us how our system worked. Im very happy with the professional installation and highly recommend Bryant Contracting to anyone. I will be using them in the future!
