The project went very well. My only complaint is that I was provided 2 final estimates and the second one was $40O more than the first. However we worked through the issues and split the difference. I thought it was handled fairly. Installation was complex and they did good job.
Description of Work: Installed granite in half bath and bar area. Angles were very difficult but the measurer and installer Mario did a phenomenal job

Arrived on time and did a great job. Upon installation, I had an issue with the placement of an outlet, which needed to be relocated by my electrician. After my electrician relocated the outlet, they came out a second time at no charge to cut the outlet hole in the back-splash and secure the back-splash. No complaints.

The ladies in the front office were very helpful when I couldn't find a granite that matched my cabinets. They sent me to the warehouses/suppliers. Once the slabs were in their warehouse I went back to choose the placement of the island, other counter areas, the sink and cooktop cutouts. Guys in the warehouse were very helpful. The install was scheduled sooner than expected which was great. They showed up on time and did a very nice job. I called the next day about some lines in the granite. They came right back and fixed them. Looks great! Also had the install of the sink, faucet and cooktop subcontracted to Purdy's Plumbing. Andy did a great job. I even had him come back for other non-related plumbing jobs.

Description of Work: Requested quote for 100+ sq ft of granite installed based on dimensions supplied. I emailed and called but still no quote after a week. Very unprofessional and would not trust to do my work. If there was an issue with installation , I would not trust they would respond to communications.

Our new counter-tops were quickly and professionally installed. Diamond Granite was a pleasure to deal with through the entire process. Everyone was top notch from the sales staff to the estimator to the installers. We will definitely be working with them again in the new future for other projects at our home. Highly recommended!

We got rough estimates from a few Angie's List A rated contractors. We got a preliminary estimate from Diamond in early December and then were out of town for several weeks. When we returned they picked right back up and finalized the details as if we had never been gone. They had a good selection of slabs and sinks at good prices. The sinks were of a higher quality then I had seen at Lowes and HD. They were very professional and did not even require a deposit. We gave them the go ahead and they measured a few days later. The installation about two weeks later took most of one day for two workers but was done with minimal issues. We did our own plumbing removal and installation some of which overlapped with their work and it was no problem. They custom drilled for the fixtures that we had purchased separately. The few granite seams required are almost invisible. They cleaned up thoroughly and gave us some tips on maintenance. This was one of the most pleasant vendor experiences we have had in many years. Although we're sure it's the same company because of the address, the letterhead shows the company name as Diamond Granite.

- Returned quote on a timely basis. - Reviewed quote and went thru details of project. - Followed up with verification of install schedule. - Arrived as promised. - Tarped and isolated work area for dust. - Completed install as promised. - Clean up. - Gave us instructions for use and any restrictions. - Came back next day to modify cutout for cooktop. - Came back to adjust opening for wall oven after it was delivered. All these things were done next day----without question. I would recommend this company to anyone doing countertops. One of the best companies for customer response I have ever worked with.

Hurray! Today we received our new counter tops and our project is nearing the end after 4 months. But how it is worth it! We found this company from our cabinet makers, Hollywood Cabinets, and had 5 bids from other companies. There were some that were a bit cheaper, and others that were more. We found them to be right in the middle as far as cost. The thing is, you get what you pay for with this. All the material can be had by all the companies but its the company itself that makes the difference. They went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Making sure nothing got damaged, making sure we saw the slabs before they cut them, and worked with us on our old counters. (We had them measure the old for our daughter and then they brought them back to us for free when finished checking it out.) Today when they installed them we watched their every move because we were interested in how they did it. Other installers do not do the small but important detail work that we noticed they do. When putting a seam together they use rods inside to hold the two pieces together and keeps the seam close and tight. They groove both sides of the other seam so that when they glued them, the two had the grooves and tongues to hold better. The sides that go against our stove were beveled and polished. Our other installers from Expo never did any of this. They made sure to put pieces of blue tape everywhere that they could possibly hit if not careful. Laid down trap's everywhere, and moved our stove with cardboard under it. When a mark happened to show up on our hardwood, the main workman was very upset and called his floor guy to make sure it was handled. It turned out fine, but his caring was refreshing! We went with Caesarstone, London Grey. Its beautiful, and looks the most like statue marble than any other product out there. Never have to seal it, takes the heat, and can't stain. I loved my Silestone, and that's why I wanted to stay with this type of product. John is the owner, and talked to us a lot and made the whole experience great. Leslie always emailed me back right away, and the other girls helped too. Highly recommend this company for your counter top needs.

Was on the way to sign with another dealer when I noticed this dealer on our way and thought we would stop in just for the heck of it. Ran into a couple on their way out of Diamond Granite that just had a job done by them. They were obviously more than pleased with everything and recommended that we shouldn't even bother going any where else. Too late, I had already been to 5 other places and had quotes saying that we needed from 80 to 95 square feet and prices well above what we paid. Having been hit with such a glowing review in person as we walked into the business, my wife and I felt that it would be worth listening to another quote. Within a half hour, we walked out with the best deal and gave the go ahead to do the job. We were expecting somewhere down the line that we were going to be hit with some other charge but that never happened. The owner told us, if we gave him the job, there would be no money up front and that if we didn't like the job he would take the countertops back and that would be the end. I had 6 quotes with a huge gap in price differences. Diamond was the best deal. Wasn't really comfortable with any of the other businesses but figured that was the way things were done and you just had to take a chance. Well you can save a lot of time and trouble and go to Diamond Granite and I would bet that you will not get comfortable any place else after.
