On April 6, 2016 I contacted Ron Alexander at Shelby Mechanical through Home Advisor to have a faucet unit installed in my kitchen. I received a same day appointment as well as a same day installation. The installer, Dominic was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about our problem. In about an hours time he was done. The price was in the range quoted. We are very pleased as to how the Home Advisor advised us and directed us to a reputable company. The turnaround time was fantastic. Our water heater blew on Monday morning, the new one was installed Tuesday afternoon and at the exact time we had scheduled. Ron was awesome on the phone getting me exactly what we needed for my home, and the installers, Tony and Taylor were expedient, professional, and excellent to work with. I highly recommend Shelby Mechanical!

The guys showed up on time completed the work at the price agreed-upon also had an issue at a later date and they came out again . I would recommend

They did good work and arrived on time. Only gripe would be the over all cost. Other quotes were lower but went with them solely on the time line to get it done.

Spoke with Ron and he was able to send someone out the same day because of a cancellation which fit perfectly into my schedule. The plumber who came out was knowledgeable, helpful in how to finish the trim work. The work done was to replace a old 2 style tub/shower faucet with a new one valve. The wall was open as the tile was also being replaced. That is why finishing the trim work was suggested. I would absolutely hire them again for any plumbing needs.

Communication was great between repair person and my husband, made suggestions that made sense , reworked our plumbing under kitchen sink to be more efficient ..would definitley hire them again!��������

Nice workmanship and very easy to work with. Great customer service and I definitely hire them next time when I need. The reason I give 4.5 to rate the value for money is the plumbing work is always too expensive compared to other home project.

The company owner and plumber Ron spent about an hour in my basement trying to determine what was making this loud, metallic clunking sound. It started after my new water heater was installed. He called the water heater company and did research before he came over trying to find a solution. He finally figured it out-yea Ron! When the heater was installed the copper tubing that brings in the cold water had inadvertently been misaligned or bent when it was reconnected. So every time my furnace came on somehow it made the copper tubing "jump" and bump into the metal duct work or the nearby furnace, causing the noise. Once Ron's observant eye caught the motion of the tubing and we recreated it a few times, he repositioned the tubing, wrapped it and taped it down. Voila! No noise. Ron gets "Silence is Golden". The work was done very quickly.But it came at a expense which did no compute with the time to do the job

Initial phone consultation with Ron was very detailed. Crew showed up on time, use foot coverings and were very professional, answering my questions and were willing to look at potential other jobs in the house. The only issue was that there was a parts mix-up, so one of the workers had to go fetch the correct parts mid-job. Overall I would recommend this company.
