Please do not ever use this company. I signed a contract with them on February 1st, 2024 to replace my roof and 2 garage doors. I gave a deposit that was cashed. Today February 13th, 2024 the owner called me at 9 am refusing to honor the contract. His exact statement was you out negotiated a seasoned sales vet and he was only making 700 on the deal. He refused to do the job that was suppose to take place this week. This company lacks integrity and should not be trusted. I am now behind schedule because of their lack of integrity. I’ll also add the owner is very rude and lacks professionalism.

Performance Residential Remodeling did a very good job installing panels on our home roof’s edge. The panels were patterned to match the hangover. It only took about four hours. I talked to the father and his sons. The four of them did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

From the marketing at the door, to the manager coming out to give us an estimate, to the installation Mike & Tyler did an outstanding job. They were clean & cleaned up after themselves. Once the trim work had been added to the job, Boy oh boy, did the job lo

What a bunch of ******!. First a unsolicited salesman walked in and wanted to make an appointment. He was nice enough to make me convinced to make an appointment for a guy to come and give me a quote. Had to leave work early to make it to the appt. time. The 1st thing came out of the guy that he wanted to talk to my wife even to give a quote! What? I said I never even mentioned to the sales person that I have a wife to begin with. I said that is out of the question and he promptly left. I called some lady and complained that she said it is their standard practice, but wanted to make another appt.. So told them never bother call again. Surprise, during the next month, they called me 3 times! Finally I had to let the last caller have it; yelled and cursed at her and seems like they finally got the message. I felt belittled and harassed by these people.

Canvasser convinced me to get a quote i regret. Originally got a quote in January, and after multiple times asking to be removed from their sales list, I'm still getting calls in August. company originally quoted me $23,365 and use high pressure sales tactics to try to get me to sign a contract; ended up going with American Standard Roofing who did a great job and only cost $10,280. Their salespeople play games to overcharge you so that they can give you multiple coupons to make it seem like you're getting an deal if you sign that day, but its still way overpriced. Based on the other reviews it seems like a common tactic that they use. Their weird company policy about spouses make it a pain-in-the-butt for someone to come out. Finally, after making an appointment their estimator shows up 2 hours early and proceeds to just sit in his car taking measurements on their roofing app (similar to google maps). My entire interaction with them was a short intro, waking through the quote, and sending it to my email... Not why it was such a pain to setup an appointment, that could have easily been done over the phone. Got a followup call, and told them i wasn't interested. A few days later I got another call to offer me another rebate and wanted to sent up a time when my wife and i could both be available at our house, and refusing to give any details in email or over the phone. The suggested time was Feb 14th (valentines day) between 5:00 and 7:00; I hung-up. After that, i got a call about every month. We're now in August, hopefully I'm done with this company soon.

My experience could only be described as TERRIBLE! This was an exterior remodel of both siding and stone work and my experience was horrible. 90% of the work had to be re-done, sometimes multiple times, to get the work done to the quality level that customers would expect. They were not concerned about the fact that I was living at the house while the work was being done. Left the property with their equipment and ladders spread over the yard. Nails and debris left in areas where we needed to walk to get into the house. My daughter even got stuck with a nail in her bare foot trying to get into the house. They had no concern about time. A job that was supposed to take 4 - 6 weeks, took 7 months. We were not treated as a priority, and rotated through about 7 different crews by the time the job was completed. Each crew managed to come and fix one thing and mess up several others. If Performance actually has some good crews based on some of the other reviews, they didn't give us any. We got bottom of the barrel. If any are interested in seeing the pictures of the less than quality work that these guys did on my home, send me a note at TigerBaseballRocks@gmail.com and I'll send them to you. I will even be more than happy to talk to you about it as well.

Very pleased with the experience from the low pressure salesperson to the install and final product. Very happy with my new windows that replaced original 40 year old windows. Have started having major problems with the siding. First a piece under our porch 'fell' away from the house in late 2016. The piece was just there hanging. I placed a bench in front of it and chalked it up to "these things happen." Next, and during a regular spring rain-shower, two large pieces ripped away from the side of our house. We called Performance for them to send out a tech. It took a few weeks for him to get here, spent an hour here fixing the problems, and than they charged us $300+ for the privilege. Was just outside today (9/1/17) and seen another piece of siding has popped out of place and in hanging near my roof line. I give this siding & installation 2-years before I have to replace it all.
Description of Work: Performance re-shingled our roof and installed siding for us in late 2014. The roof is fine, so I'm not writing this review for the shingles but for the SIDING only. We did not use them after reviewing the work to be done with other contractors.
Description of Work: I had three contractors referred to me by Hardie to replace all my siding, trim boards, and gutters, Performance was one. Initial quote from Matt Coker was high, but the next day we were called by Spencer pushing us to go forward with the job, and less than ten minutes after we hung-up Kenyon called. The office seems very disorganized. A couple days later they called and said they could reduce the price with "rebates" which "just came through", but they had to come back out for another review. Evan came out and then quoted us $35K, less than the original quote. He pushed us to sign, saying the price was good and we didn't really need to get any more quotes. We replied that we would let him know. A few days later, Kenyon called & left a message that they could reduce the price even more, In the mean time. we were quoted by another company with whom we felt were straight-forward, honest, and very professional, including placing additional items we desired at no extra charge, and whose price was substantially better. We chose to go with them. We didn't go with Performance because they seemed to try to "hook" us at a higher price , then kept reducing it to "reel us in". They seemed disorganized, not concerned about negative reviews they've received, and didn't engender a sense of trust. It would be better if they told you what work they'll do & at what cost and not play the "better price" game over & over.

All other estimates/quotes were in the $7000 to $6000 range with no money up front. Performance price was $20,000 and then reduced several times down to $10,000 when I resisted. They also wanted 20% up front before they started work.

Great! Love the windows, which are quality and would buy again. Crew was awesome and very respectful of our home.
Description of Work: We had 8 windows replaced in a home we recently purchased that is about 20 years old. We got quotes from 4 potential companies that were 4k to 12k apart. We were looking for quality windows and found the the "highly" ranked competitors were all ready to knock their competition and much higher in price than Performance. We were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and price of Performance Fiber. Their crew was respectful of our property and protected our floors and property, and didn't leave a mess. Their only downfall isn't their windows, which we love, it's their finishes. In our former home, the installers did a wonderful job of trimming out the windows

Considering that the weather changed it took a week in between rain and snow they did well. They did a good job cleaning up after each day of work. I also appreciated that they did not tarp the roof, but rather only tore off and installed shingles for what could be done in one day. This may seem inefficient, but they did the bulk of the work in two half days. It was important to them that the roof was sealed to handle the rain and snow until the whole job was complete.

A marketer had flyers and was walking in the neighborhood. He asked if I needed any work done around the house. I told him about my garage. I set up an appointment to have someone come and give me a quote. Setting up the appointment was a little ridiculous. The guy had to call someone at the company and have me talk to them over the phone and give all my information. After that, the guy talked to us for about an hour. He was very annoying and would not stop talking. Another person came out the next day to look at my garage. He did his thing to get the measurements of the garage. He didn't seem to know exactly what he was doing. We went inside and he began to give me his sales pitch. Showing me all the types of shingles there are. When he finally calculated the quote, he said it would be estimated $7500 for the complete tear off and replacement for just the garage. He knew I was taken aback by this price. He did his sales thing and walked out of the house to take a quick call. He came back and tried the "Today Only" price which he reduced to about $4200. But even at that price I felt like it was a bait and switch technique that he was trying to pull. It told him I would think about it. He kept pushing and trying to get me to sign that day. I was very uncomfortable with the fact that he was being so pushy about. The next day, someone from the company called me asked if we can set up another appointment to have another quote made. I told them that they could. They had to call me back for some reason and I didn't answer when they called. I was at work at the time and in an hour, I had multiple phone calls and voicemails from this company. I felt like I was being harassed. These guys were all trying desperately to make a sale.

Salesman Robert just left. I have never been so insulted by a salesperson! He asked to see inside my garage. No problem. Got my keys and went around the back door to unlock it. Our garage is full of pool stuff, riding lawn mower, snow blower, push mower, shredding mower, (We have 5/8 of an acre.) bed in the original box because we are redoing a bedroom. My husband does woodworking, so we have quite a bit of oak stacked against the wall, etc. I also have a couple of kiosk tables for jewelry making that I'm just starting to get into. You get the idea. He walks in and makes a noise like I don't even want to get involved with this. I show him the door but he says he can't give me an estimate because he can't get to above the door. The door is chained shut because the lock doesn't work. I told him I could open the door. He said he would have to unscrew a few screws and remove the drywall to see what kind of header there was. My husband has a shelf above the doors with long pieces of oak boarding. He said that would have to come down for the new door. Told him okay we could do that. He also said that they would have to have at least half the garage empty. He told me he would also need to see above the middle support piece and he was not going to move my stuff. Again I stated that I could open the garage door for easier access. That wasn't acceptable. Then he advised me that most people don't use their garage as a storage unit. At that point I told him I wouldn't waste anymore of his time as I was sure we both had better things to do. I told him that that was rude. The canvassers only told me that he would need to measure and nothing else. This was his business not mine and how would I know what they needed. (If I'd have know I could have driven the riding lawn mower out) I was only told they needed measurements. Upon walking him out, he stated that without seeing behind drywall and above the middle section, he could not give me an estimate. The job might include a metal header and who knows what else. I said fine you are off my list. Told my husband (a salesman for years) what he said. He figures it was a good thing he wasn't there. He was in the basement working on a project. He couldn't believe a salesman would act like that. So I decided to call the company. The gentleman at the company I talked with said that Salesman Robert had had a long day and was probably in a bad mood. Not my problem. He also told me that they don't really do much construction word and that combining 2 doors into 1 isn't something they normally do. I asked him why didn't the canvassers tell me that. No good reply. Salesman Robert just called to apologize. He is sorry that I am upset. Not with what he said??? We tried to come to an understanding on the phone but not in the cards. I relayed to him that he apologized for upsetting me but not for what he said. Tried to switch the blame to me that I said it was a waste of time. I said lets just agree to disagree and leave it at that. Which he abruptly hung up without saying goodbye. What happened to manners. I wonder if I was treated this was because I was in cruddy clothes because I was painting and leaving for vacation soon so didn't want to ruin good clothes? Makes me wonder?
Description of Work: Canvassers came around to give free estimates for garage doors which should be valid for a year. When the salesman came out, all they would need to do was to measure the door and I had to pick which door and I would receive the estimate. Conveyed to them that I have two garage door (which they could see plainly.) but would like to make only one garage door. No problem but it would cost more. I figured that. I would expect a call after 7:30 pm the day before the salesman came out because I would not be home until then. Call for confirmation came at 1:12pm. I just happened to be home by accident for a run in- run out thing. Confirmed appointment.

I was orinigal told someone would come out and do a final measurement after we agreed to make the purchase. 2 weeks went by and we were never contacted, so we called them and they came out later that week. After the measurement, I was told 4 weeks. After 5 weeks I contacted them to ask about the status. They said "oh we were just waiting to to schedule you, we've had your door here." When I asked if they planned on calling me they said "oh yeah, but we've been really busy...we can get you in 2 weeks. On the day of the install they called me in the afternoon "oh we had a problem at the first install we have to reschedule" I was trying to be understanding and said ok, can I be the first install on the day, so I dont risk getting bumped again. I get "of course sure thing no problem we will be there at 9a," The day of the install, the week before chirstmas, 10 am and no one has shown up. I call again they women on the phone "oh your installer probably over slept, he does that sometimes haha." I let her know that I took the day off of work and had other appointments to do and had made child care arrangements so that the install wouldnt interupt my sons schedule. The owner get on the phone and told me I wrote down the wrong time and that I was told they would be there at 1 and I need to deal with it. I said I will never do business with you again, he said he didnt care, plenty of other fish in the sea. The installers were fine when they showed up, damaged some trim, and put way to many nails in the trim. Didnt touch up paint the trim, even though the sales guy said they would. No problems with the door, but they arent professional and are very disrepectful.

Salesman was ok -- on the initial visit, I had told him up-front I was seeking quotes from a few companies and I felt like he rushed the description of his product (probably thinking they would not get the job). He also used a few of the "high-pressure" techniques -- i.e. "I can only give you this price if you sign the contract in the next 3 days, blah, blah, blah". In the end, mainly based on a positive review from a neighbor of mine, I did end up going with the company for replacement windows. Of the 3 quotes I sought out, their price was the middle (higher for Anderson "whole frame" replacement, lower for a company doing vinyl insert-only) -- quote seemed appropriate for the quality of the product. The installation crew was FANTASTIC. Clean, professional, and had the job done in 1.5 days. One of the crew members did a walk-through with me after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I will likely do windows on the last side of my house this spring and will use the company again.

Salesman promised new doors in 3-4 weeks. That was on OCT 9th. It took 4 weeks for the second measure to happen. Now 7 weeks after the purchase I'm told I won't have doors until early December. Early December in Michigan?? Today it is 17 degrees outside. I only purchased because I was told that the doors would be installed before winter started. I complained to one of the owners, Kevin, and he could have cared less. They made the sale, got my deposit, so now customer service has gone out the window............... Note: I ordered un stained doors because I THOUGHT I could stain them myself before winter, not now!! I will have ugly un stained/unpainted doors show casing my home for 3-4 months now. 12/8/14 Company stained my doors at no cost to me, a savings of $900.00 USD. Thank you. However............sloppy work with the stain. runs and drips viewable to the naked eye. As a woodworker myself, it appears stain was put on thick and without attention to detail. I feel I should have waited and stained myself in the spring.. Obviously NOT a factory stain job. Installers did a fantastic job; they were thorough, professional and very informative. Again, the doors overall look FANTASTIC and the installers were the utmost professionals. VERY HAPPY WITH THE INSTALL!!! Company was responsive to my needs after complaining on Angie's list. Good communication and stained doors locally, not at the factory, it shows............................ As promised, I have updated my response and grade on list after successful completion of installation. Thank You for your efforts in correction of my complaint. I have updated my grades from first review. I do not have the option to just delete this review, or I can't locate that option.
