There were no additional fees for the work we had purchased the deal for, but we have them do additional work. Jay, the owner, was very professional. On the day of the appointment, they did not show up. We had to call them and they said that the snow has caused appointments to be delayed by a day or so. We then rescheduled our appointment. There were two men who completed the work and it took them about three or four hours to complete the job. The language that the crew used in front of my child was inappropriate and I had to correct them. The work was fantastic and they did a great job!

Called Metro Detroit Window for possible estimate. He stated that Detroit was not in his coverage area but because I was Angie's List member he would give an estimate. When he arrived I informed him that the estimate was actually for my neighbor whose windows were broken. Even though he could not gain entry into the home he measured the windows from the outside and gave me an approximate repair price. "J" spent approximately 3 hrs talking about his company and their business of saving original wood style windows, instead of replacing them with vinyl or wood clad replacement windows. My neighbor had originally call Hanson's and Lowe's and their only solution was New Replacement vinyl windows. Costs were $1000 & $1900. As we were talking my neighbor arrive allowing "J" access to the interior of the home to get an accurate measurement. The estimate actually was lower than the original by about $25-$35. He took a 1/3 deposit and ordered the windows, because of the weather they had to postpone installation a couple of days. I arrived after the install talk with my neighbor and he was very pleased with the results.. Its a good provider of services that travels beyond his normal service area to provide for an Angie's List menmber

The initial consultation was great. Quick response. Very friendly. Explained details. Scheduling the work, and completing the work, was an issue. On two occasions workers showed up at our house, at a time that we had not discussed. They called/texted me at work to ask if I could be home within half an hour. That was not possible since I was at work. When they started to do the work, they realized they had ordered the wrong windows. Also, the workers were not clear on which windows to replace (different person than the one who provided the quote). A few phone calls were required (while at work), to clear up the confusion. They came back a week later to complete the work with the correct windows. I was surprised I had to request a walk around review of the work. I requested that a few adhesive drips be cleaned off of the window. They explained that the window must have shifted and that's why the adhesive was dripping and visible. I also noted that the balancer on one window had not been replaced, as was discussed in our initial consultation. The workers at the house did not know anything about the balancer. We had to make a phone call to clear that up. Fortunately, they were more than willing to order and replace the balancer within the next two months. I was disappointed that cleaning the dirty finger prints off of the windows was not included in the job. Initial experience and cost were great. Execution of the work, was not.

A builder that we use was surveying the exterior of our house to find any boards that were rotted so he could replace them prior to our exterior paint job. He pointed out the many issues with our windows and insisted they be fixed prior to his work. We were not surprised, this was a job we knew had to come sooner or later. He recommended Metro Detroit Window. Jeremiah, who goes by "J" called me and talked to me about his services. We made an appointment and he arrived one weekday evening. I learned more than I ever wanted about window repair and he seemed very passionate about his work so he gave me a quote. We had a couple of windows repaired in the past so the price was reasonable to me, especially knowing the outrageous cost to have completely new windows installed by one of the major brands. If my memory serves we contacted J sometime in October and the majority of the work was completed in November over two days. More issues were discovered during the course of the work and more parts had to be ordered. J and his crew returned in January to complete the job. This time the amount of work was small so they were gone in about 3 hours. The entire process was drawn out due to weather and scheduling around the holidays. They needed two days back to back without rain in order to complete the work so be prepared to make appointments and be flexible while watching the weather. We had to reschedule the work twice and it was frustrating but a job this size is at the mercy of the weather as I learned. All together I am very satisfied with the price and the quality of the work performed. J and his crew are not only hard workers but they are very talented and knowledgeable. They were fun to have around. J's two boys were out of school one day while he was doing measurements at our house and he brought them and they ended up playing in the backyard with my two boys for over an hour. The three double hung windows are fixed to my satisfaction on their last visit, but they found another issue in the hardware and explained why I should let them return and replace this hardware as well. Bottom line is some of the hardware is getting old and if not replaced now, it would be failing sooner than later. So I'll be having them come back when parts arrive. I have some before and after pictures that I will be posting soon.

They did a wonderful job. The work that was done has made a huge difference in reducing drafts and cold air in my condo. I just wish I would have known about this company sooner! They are very friendly, yet professional. The explanation of the recommended work was understandable and all of my questions were answered, no matter how basic. They communicate in an extremely respectful manner. I felt the price was reasonable for the quality work they do. I contacted them following the job for a minor adjustment, and they came back out without hesitation. The adjustment was taken care of in a matter of minutes. The company also works around your schedule which is a real plus when it's difficult to take time off from your work day. As a female dealing with workman, it can often be difficult, but these guys were a breeze to work with. No pressure. I have no doubts with giving them a full A recommendation.

The team was very friendly and professional. They know their business and they did a great job in repairing our windows. They are very efficient in making estimates and answered all of our questions. After the estimate, they setup a time for the repairs where they showed up promptly and did the work professionally and with high quality.

Called around to other companies and found that "All Seasons Window Repair" not only gave me the best price they explained in detail how they were going to repair each window. It was a fraction of the cost of getting new windows. They gave me a free estimate and arrived on the job on time and were very polite. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and I LOVE my like new windows.
