 + -1 moreThe workers arrived right on time and kept me informed of how things were going throughout the day. The patio came out just as we had wanted. There was minimal damage to landscaping. All of the workers were courteous and knowledgeable and had great ideas on the design.

Description of Work: damaged stamped concrete on side of driveway. Promised to fix several times but never showed up. had to fix ourselves. Ran out of concrete had to wait for more to finish job as a result lower portion of driveway has different look and texture

Description of Work: They removed an old slab of cement around a shed, dug through loose rock and stone and removed an old paver walkway and curb. Graded and stamped a 21.5'x14' area with 5'x4' stoop as well as a 40' walkway and two additional slabs of stamped concrete covering another 60+ sqft. Overall, the job went very well. Despite a lot of roots and weather and tricky sprinkler lines to contend with, Don Mertke's crew got the job done as promised. They were very responsive and professional and provided good ideas that we did not even consider that helped us in ways we did not predict. A very positive experience.

Description of Work: Asphalt driveway and concrete walkway were replaced with concrete. My neighbor had Don a few years back and he came highly recommended. I worked with several contractors and Don was one of the best. Very responsive, timely, great crew, and so far I am extremely satisfied with their work.

 + -1 moreThe walkway is beautiful. The porch not so much. It doesn't look professional like the walkway and is not the same color, The lower perimeter of the porch should have been "caulked" so water could not r un into the basement. It was left incomplete. I had to call Don to remind him that the job wasn't finished. He assured me that it would be done, As of June 20, 2014 the job is still incomplete and we haven't heard from Don. Any future work would need to be monitored by the homeowner as it progresses,
Description of Work: Don's people repaired the top of the porch to fix a depression that collected water and allowed it to run into the basement.. Our walkway was torn out and replaced for the same reason.
