so, keep in mind when you look at what i paid, that this was while there was already snow on the ground, AND i called on a sunday. i had the option of waiting until monday for $25.00 less. i took the sunday call. johnson came out that day, on time, and dug out; (i have to say here, that there was a misunderstanding during my call to them. he thought it was already dug out, which a friend of mine had done, but then had filled it back in. then it snowed on top of that. so, the digging out should've cost me another $25.00 (i think?) but mr. johnson didn't charge me for that because it was an honest misunderstanding.); pumped out my septic tank (& told me that it wasn't really to bad, which made me pretty happy because i had NO idea when it had been pumped before this!) then him and his guy told me to flush the toilet, so i did. i went to the door and they're both looking at me like ok, go flush the toilet? long story short, i kept flushing until i finally heard the suction sound of the guys getting out whatever was blocking everything. (roots!! lots of them.) i asked some (probably stupid) questions, and got good answers. mr. johnson told me that i needed the cement around the tank repaired, in the summer. i asked how much. his answer was a thought, a shrug and $100.00!! he's on my calander, to call back for those repairs, in the second week in june. we'll see if the weather is ok for the fix, when i call him. (i also got a great "handy man" out of the deal. turns out the guy helping him can do quite a bit around homes, and i've had him back since correcting a couple of more things for me. he does great quality work. i need to call him to see if he wants me to add his name to the list, too. he's not really a handy-man. he's been out of work for a while, and can just do a lot of different things. so, if i list him, it will be his choice, not mine.)
Description of Work: bought a cabin, with septic system, 1 1/2 months prior to this. had bathroom flood 3 different times, from 3 different things. johnson came out the same day that i called (amazing to me. i moved here from chicago!) and dug out, pumped, and pulled roots from my septic tank, and area. keep in mind this was winter, WITH snow on the ground! he (mr. johnson) also told me that i needed to call back around june so he (or someone) could repair my cement around the tank because the roots were pretty bad. he also told me what i could use, in the meantime, to kill them. (root killer)
