Marsh Contracting

Marsh contracting came in and took our 50+ year old bathroom and made it into a great, functional space. I wish I could explain the awfulness of the "before" situation they were facing. Tile and plaster 3 inches thick; square, heavy bathtub that need to be removed; galvanized steel pipes with years of corrosion blocking water flow. They had great suggestions for improvements and helped us stay within our budget while still taking care of the things that needed to be done. They were prompt and worked quickly; the only hiccup was on our side with a delivery issue, and they were able to work around it and keep the project rolling. Bob and his team were upfront with us on everything, and I felt that I had a clear idea of how the project was moving along, next steps, and the timeline for completion. Communication was never an issue, whether via email, phone, or text. And my super picky Father in Law has even complemented the great tile work!

Bob was very easy to work with and the job was completed in the agreed upon time.

Updating rental property. This is my go to company, to have anything done. Painting, carpentry work, remodeling, electrical and even handyman work etc. Great with communication, professionalism and with the changes that were made midstream, he never missed a beat.

We initially hired Bob to help us get our nursery in order. We needed someone to remove the old crown molding and baseboard in the room, paint the room and install new closet doors for us. Bob did a great job on the project. He was prompt when it came time to provide the quote and worked quickly to get us scheduled. The work he did in the room was excellent. He was able to provide suggestions about what closet doors would work best and what kind of trim would be required around them. He graciously agreed to help pick up materials, as we had no easy way to transport such long pieces of trim. We asked him to use a dark wall color for the room, and the care he used in painting with this color was appreciated. We needed to ask Bob to delay installing the baseboards until the floor could be refinished; he graciously came back a few weeks later to finish the job, without charging any additional fee. Because Bob did such a great job for us, we also had him come back a few weeks after installing the baseboards to help us fix a drywall patch in our hallway ceiling. Initially Bob had told me he wasn't sure if he'd be able to get it to look seamless with the rest of the ceiling, but he was able to work his magic and you can't even tell that the patch is there. We were very impressed with the result he was able to provide us, and of course his painting job on the ceiling after patching it was excellent. We'd highly recommend Bob and his services, and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again in the future. He was a pleasure to work with, and we felt comfortable leaving him in our home to complete the projects while we were at work. We appreciated his attention to detail and his efforts to clean up after himself when the job was completed. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to projects, that will serve his customers well!

Excellent! Prior to the work Bob was prompt to respond to my emails. Bob showed up on time and was fully prepared. His work was thorough (paying attention to detail), consistent, and completed the work in a timely manner. In addition, Bob was courteous and helpful in answering any questions. I would hire Bob again in the future for needed work, as well as, I would recommend Bob to customers.

It went Excellent... Bob was at the job on time and ready to go. He has the knack of refinishing walls and smoothing over where the wall paper did not want to let go. Bob works continuously and with purpose. This would have taken me several weekends to do what he did in a couple days and it would not have looked as good as it does now.

Bob's estimate was the highest we received but his reviews were all excellent so we decided to use him on the Monday the 9th of May . His start date was 6 weeks and he said it would take 4 to 5 days to complete. I received a call from him on Thursday the 12th of May and he told me that he had an opening and could start on Monday the 16th of May. He and his drywall guy arrived on Monday and were able to demo the areas that need repair and installed the new drywall and insulation plus the new fan in two days. On Wednesday his painter arrived and by Thursday the ceiling in the living room, kitchen, dining room and the ceiling and walls of the bathroom were done. On Friday Bob came out and finished up on the last wall of the dining room and was done buy 1 PM that day. All in all, even tho, his price was the highest it was well worth the money. He even caulked a bay window and our tube without even asking him to do it. His crew were are all very professional and I would not hesitate using his company again or recommending them for any of my friends. work was done on time and at cost. I give him 5 stars out of 5

Responsive when making arrangements by email. Very competitive quote. Kept appointment and arrived promptly. Did a great job. Very pleasant. Even removed the packing material from the counter top - which I had purchased separately and he did not need to do.

Terrific! My husband and I were very impressed with Marsh Maintenance (Bob and Ted). They started and finished our project on time. They were friendly and professional. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations. They did not take any payment until the job was done to our satisfaction. We've already recommended Marsh Maintenance to a friend, and we're already planning another job with Marsh Maintenance. So happy to have found them! I would recommend them to anyone.

Bob Sr. arrived on time and did all the work we had previously discussed. During the work, Bob found and additional problem with my toilet and fixed it during the visit. He also made some suggestions that improved installation of an inline water filter in our basement. I would recommend their service to anyone

Originally when I set up the appointment, he was supposed to come March the 3rd. He later texted me saying that he was already scheduled for work on that day and asked if he could come on March 10th. I agreed to the change for the appointment. He couldn’t find the place and he arrived late to the appointment. He said he tried to have someone to come with him, but he was unable to get someone else. He calculated the time he was there to be over half of an hour more than the time that he should have been there. He was only there for three hours and fifteen minutes. He did a good job at putting the headboard together. However, on the other items he didn’t do the best job. He had to take the door completely out of the frame in order to shave the bottoms. When he put them back in the frame, I think he put the wrong bolts back into the door. Instead of telling me that, he tried to work around it. On one of the doors he was unable to put the bottom bolt back in the door and he never brought that to my attention. On the dresser, he said the drawers were cheap and I would do better buying another dresser. To say something like that, I thought was totally inappropriate. When I asked him to do something else, he didn’t quite understand and I had to explain it to him. He didn’t have what was necessary in terms of tools to do it. He calculated that I was over 30 miles from where he came from and I had to pay an additional $45 for him to come out. I still think that the cost was reasonable for the work that he did. However, he did not do a good job with the clean-up. I was a little disappointed and will not use his services again.

They are very reliable. They take pride in their work and are clean.

They were on time for the estimate and was able to get to the job done quickly. They kept in contact during the process and when it was completed it looked as good as new. I manage condominiums and will be using them in the future.

Bob and his crew did a renovation on a condo for us. They painted the whole house and replaced all trim and doors. They installed a new Ikea kitchen, floor and counter tops. They put in a new sink, toilet and tub. They also painted and cleaned up the basement. It all looks like new and we are very pleased. Bob is extremely easy to work with and willing to do whatever you ask. They showed up on time and were professional and worked hard to get the job done quickly. They cleaned up after themselves when it was all done. We plan to hire them again in the future. This is the second complete renovation they have done for us.

It went great. They were on time, finished a big job in one week. Were detailed and the paint Job is spectacular. Would recommend them to anyone. WIll use them again.

I've used him for a couple of years for a lot of small projects and he has good prices. He's also very timely and punctual.
