I wouldn't use them if they didn't do a really good job, they're a little more expensive than some other companies but the stand behind, other words anything dies they replace it. It's not just that year but if they you know it could be two years later they will replace it for you free of charge.

I was very happy with them and their ideas.

I have been with Smithlawnscapes over the past several years, and their quality of service was in steady decline. Let me start with last fall, when I asked them to come to my house to turn off the sprinkler system. We set up a time and since my parents did not speak English, I asked for a day off so I can stay home handling the appointment. When the guy showed up, my parents answered the door, and the guy just went away because he could not understand what my parents said. I was in the house the whole time, and he didn't have the patience for my parents to call me out! Later I called the guy, and it turned out that he was a local contractor hired by Smithlawnscapes, and he was not told to expect non-English speaker or wait a few seconds so I can come out. Then Smithlawnscapes insisted I should pay $70 despite the fact that I did not receive the service due to their lack of communication. I protested but did not have the time to argue so I paid the $70 bill and another $70 for the guy to come again (so a total of $140), plus wasted one off-day from work. I decided not to work with them any more. If the experience from last fall was just annoying, what happened this year was simply outrageous. Sometime in April or May, I received a phone call to schedule Sprinkler system start up. By that time, I had not asked service from anyone so I was a little confused, but I did clearly said "no, I did NOT need the service". Then a couple of weeks later, I found Smithlawnscapes sent me a bill for Sprinkler start up. I was totally amused by the way these people doing "business": they guy did even come out, and they sent me this bill for a unsolicited phone call in which I clearly declined their service! I emailed them a couple of times and of course they did not reply. They just kept send me the bill - what a joke. Avoid this "business" and watch out if you are current on the hook!

I would highly recommend Smith Lawnscapes. Kevin came out and was extremely helpful helping us figure out what we wanted/needed. We didn't know much about landscaping, we only knew that we wanted something low maintenance (the previous owner was a gardner and there was so much stuff! We couldn't deal with it all). They did the work in a timely manner and even offered us a payment plan. The landscaping looks amazing. They are doing our backyard in a few days, and we hope to have them install a firepit and finish landscaping the backyard in the fall.

After my sod died, I had the sod removed and the yard re-seeded by another firm, which was a disaster. So, finally, I was referred to Mark Smith by Kevin Schultz of PureGreen. He was professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend him.

Smith Lawscapes did exactly what they said they were going to do and the lawn looks good.

Excellent work. Great attention to detail. Professional and courteous employees.

They are a local company. They were timely and did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves and I was pleased.
