I am so happy. I had originally contracted them for standard concrete however after several and I mean several conversations and texts regarding colored concrete (I'm sure Brian probably got tired of my texts because I even felt like I was a pain in the butt by the time it was done, but if he was, he never showed it). He provided me with the additional pricing, pros and cons, etc, and provided a color chart for me to choose from. I decided on the terra cota color around our darker blue, patterned, inground pool liner, that would match the spanish tile surrounding the plants that borders the pool concrete. The pour was very successful even in 90 degree heat. I was very nervous about the colored concrete being blotched, curing unevenly, etc but it turned out great. I couldn't be happier. Although it took longer to get the job done due to the tremendous amount of rain this summer (absolutely not due to contractor scheduling) it was well worth the wait and I couldn't be happier. The entire crew was professional, courteous and just overall impressed me. I wish I could post a photo. We had a concrete walkway poured earlier this summer by another company and I really wish we had used contracted Kelley Construction for that job as well. My husband dealt with the walkway and I dealt with the pool and believe me, I made the better choice in contractors. I would highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again for any concrete job I might need in the future. Before the bid even came in, I told my husband, and quot;I'm going with Kelley Construction even if their bid comes in higher, they just seem to be more knowledgable in pouring around an inground pooland quot;. When the bid came in, to my surprise, it was actually lower. They even left all the extra unused sand for my four year grandson to ride his quad on (they gave us the option of removing it). Can't get any better than that in a four year olds eyes LOL.
Description of Work: New colored concrete around existing inground pool. We removed existing concrete prior to new pour.

Bob Kelley did an excellent job of removing and filling in my 16ft x 36ft in-ground pool. Despite having limited space in my backyard he was able to accomplish the task without damaging any of my gardens and even graded my yard so that I would have proper drainage, and put down grass seed. He was $1,000.00 cheaper than the nearest competitor (who wanted to remove my fence and drive their big equipment over mine and my neighbor's front yard). He was prompt and worked solely on my project until it was done. I will need to replace my patio and my driveway in the future and plan on contacting Bob Kelley to do so.
Description of Work: Removed and filled in swimming pool.
