+ 0 moreDan Graham was paid cash in full to complete a fireplace installation. Upon being paid in full he did not complete the job for 2.5 months. Graham was unresponsive for weeks and blamed me for his inability to complete the job timely. I would not recommend this person for any work that you need completed in a previously agreed upon time frame.

Description of Work: We had bought a fireplace insert from Young Brothers and Daley (a great store, FYI) and they recommended Dan Graham to install it for us. The installation was complicated. He had to run a new pipe from the furnace over to the location of the fireplace, had to run new vents up the chimney above the fireplace, and had to break into the ash bin below he fireplace to run electricity up and to run the gas up. It was definitely a full day's job. He explained everything he was doing in the beginning and at the end he demonstrated how to use the fireplace and the remote. He is a quiet guy and works alone but he is very conscientious about making sure everything met current code requirements. Generally a very positive experience. I would call him again in a minute, and made a point of keeping his name in case we need work on our furnace or fireplace in the future.

He gave me a great deal on a new furnace, air conditioner and water heater that was much lower than some of the bigger name HVAC companies in the Lansing area. He was very polite and easy to work with, and didn't try to sell me more than I needed. It took him a few weeks to get everything done, which was longer than I expected, but it wasn't a big deal since the home was unoccupied at the time. Overall, highly recommended.
