More had to be dug and repaired. The supervisor was not there during fill back as far as I know. He had details of where clean out drain cap had been under large gravel butting up to patio paving. The cap was repositioned inside the edges of the patio paving area which was done expensively last year professionally. My paving guy fixed patio and installed a flat dull green cap to try to blend with patio however will have to set something over top of it. (I don't like complications with designing.) I did have pictures of all parameters taken when paving installed last year and could determine clean out cap had been moved over a foot from old spot. When I approached owner about re-setting clean out drain cap away from patio he turned it over to supervisor who complained aggressively about our complicated job of realigning old plumbing and that if they came out it would cost him over $300 but let him know if I wanted a "fix". That would be to put an elbow pipe in to move drain over. It certainly would not be digging down to job to move because of cost. For my part scrapping over the issue was out and went forward to have patio reset. My point is that super KNEW where clean out had been and tried to save digging our paving up but should have made certain the crew kept the clean out drain away from paving so as to be covered with thin layer of stone. This view has been shared by reputable plumbers as well. More sensitivity to customer needs instead of reacting defensively would have been appropriate. In fact I told the person that as a customer I should not be having this type of conversation with him.
Description of Work: Old broken tiles from house into septic had collapsed and sewage backflowed. They addressed the problem promptly and needed to dig down several feet to install new pipe., and did try to save what they could in tearing up patio.
