Kevin was SUPERB! I had some issues with access and was VERY accommodating in allowing me time to correct the issues without any fuss. I would recommend this company to ANYONE who wants a professional and understanding inspector. Really went over and above to finish the job.

Paul shinsky was wonderful-showed up early did a thorough inspection from the ground up and was incredibly kind and engaging throughout, I would use him again and recommend him over and ever.

I had purchased the home and the day after I took possession and entered the home I began to have unforeseen problems. The home is a 1950?s era home so I was prepared for the little cracks, dings and failure of equipment if that was to come up. The problem is that there are things that I think should have been disclosed and noted by the inspector that were not (or were totally blown off) that are starting to add up. I have a physical disability from having multiple sclerosis (MS) which has resulted with me being confined in a scooter. I often need to trust other people in order to accomplish my goals/needs. For this case I needed to trust the report that was provided to me by the inspection company. Majority of my concerns have occurred in areas where I physically can?t go which has been in the attic and crawl space. I hope this conduct wasn't due to my lack of ability but ill never know. I would avoid this company in the future as my costs are now over $20,000 with a bad furnace, missing insulation in the attic, mold in the crawl space, flooded crawl space with at least 2" of water, etc. The company wont return emails or phone messages.

Cory arrived exactly on time. He was thorough and personable. At the beginning of the appointment, he explained the scope of the work and the order in which he was inspecting the house. During the inspection, he was great about taking me around the house and the exterior of the house and showing me things that needed work, as well as explaining the projected maintenance for the future. I would highly recommend this firm for home inspections for anyone.

Kevin was great. He was able to come out and do my inspection with less than 48 hours notice. He was very informative, and we walked through the entire house together. He provided excellent information on things that need to be done in the future to prevent issues such as future water damage. We Tested all the outlets in the house, plus much more. He made recommendations on items that should be repaired, which I was able to take to the Seller and ask for them to be fixed.

I scheduled the inspection at a time that was good for me, no problems. Corey was the inspector assigned and on the date of the inspection, he showed a little early and was prepared to do what he had been contracted to do. The inspection was very thourough and Corey went through exterior, interior - all levels. He explained what he was looking for and pointed out any possible issues that could come up. He also answered all questions and was very clear and made sure all was understood. He completed the inspection report and had it emailed to me as we were leaving the property.

The service date was originally scheduled in July. There was a missing part to certify the furnace. The company finally came back out after numerous calls to resolve the certification. The home inspection went well but the additional service took an extended time to resolve.

It went great, he even took the time to bring me up on the roof to show me what to look for as the roof ages and how easy it is to keep the gutters cleaned. He was professional and at the same time friendly. He explained everything simply and also sent me a detailed email of the inspection for my reference. Like how much insulation should be in the attic. He showed me how to reset the fuse for the bathroom plug. It was a wonderful experience for me and I feel so educated about my future home. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for someone to do their home inspection!

Corey was on time, personable, thorough, explained everything, answered all question.

Everything went well. Was able to check available inspection times and schedule the appt online. Inspector showed up on time and had the report done and emailed to me the same day. *UPDATE* After we moved in our township inspector cited us for an illegal sump pump hook up. We ended up having to run a new line through the basement and excavate our yard to run a new 4" drain. The entire project ended up costing us over $4000. We were never told anything was wrong with our sump hookup during or after our home inspection with Corey. I did call the office and asked that our home inspect cost be refunded. Corey did call me back and explained he noted an "improper discharge" on the report and admitted he never told us verbally about it and apologized. He also did not flag it as an item that need attention or repair on the report, as he did on other items. Obviously if i knew about this after the inspection was performed, I would have demanded the previous homeowner fix it as it was a clear code violation. Corey said he would get with the owner (Kevin) and call me back. To date, I have not heard from either of them. Very disappointing to know that I paid for a home inspection to help protect me from a situation just like this. A costly mistake I will not make again with Home Inspection Professionals.

Kevin was early and polite. He explained the entire process and walked us through each step carefully. He explained what he was looking for and also gave great tips for future maintenance. He looked at every aspect of the house including the attic, insulation, and the entire roof. He gave a detailed written report including photographs of every room. He inspected all appliances, the electrical system, the furnace and the sump pump. He check all plumbing, the foundation and all structural and safety elements of the home. Kevin was fantastic and helped us to feel at ease during a stressful process.

Kevin was very helpful. I felt like he wanted to give us as much information about the inspection as he would. Very detailed.

We had a great experience dealing with Home Inspection Professionals. Owner Kevin and Paul came to the home we are looking to purchase. We spent about 3 hours with them thoroughly reviewing the inside and outside of the home. They talked us through everything, explained any problems they found, and answered all our questions. They left us with a detailed 25 page report outlining their findings. They also provide a regular home maintenance checklist to help us keep our home in good order. They guarantee their work for six months and are happy to talk to us after the fact if we need to discuss anything further. We'd be happy to give them business if we ever need their services again.

We had HIP inspect the house we had just purchased. So when the buyer inspection of our current home we are selling revealed mold in our attic, we called Kevin for his advice. Kevin took a look, gave us names of two companies to contact to remediate the mold and to get their advice regarding the cause of the problem. He spent time with us to explain the possible processes that would be presented, and allayed our fears as the mold is not in shared air space with the rest of the home. We called out Attic Pros, one of the companies recommended by Kevin, and they were able to take care of all the issues quickly and satisfactorily, and at reasonable cost. Found Home Inspection Professionals off Angies List. Needed an inspection for a new construction house that is just under 3000 sq ft. They answered my call and I was able to schedule for a couple days later. I didn't expect them to find any problems since it was a new house, but wanted that assurance. They did a very thorough job. Kevin and Paul checked everything from top to bottom and encouraged me to follow along and ask questions. They pointed out a couple things to keep an eye on and told me what maintenance might be needed in the future. They were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

I had great luck scheduling the appointment - I called on Wednesday, and the inspection was scheduled for Friday. Kevin arrived early at the house, shoveled some snow off the roof and the driveway. He had an assistant with him, and they took us thru the entire house. They tested every outlet, all the appliances, wanted us with them to talk us thru possible issues and future improvements or repairs. They took pictures, and incorporated them into their report. We had the emailed report to us before we got home - about an hour later. They identified some minor issues that would not compromise the function of the house. It was up to us to decide what we wanted to approach the sellers about fixing, which we did with the assistance of our broker. Thank goodness no significant issues were uncovered. Thought they were thorough and comprehensive.

Kevin was early to the appointment and very prepared. He was organized with paper work and explained specifically what he would do, the goals and limitations of the inspection. He was detailed, thorough, educational and polite.

We don’t feel that the inspection was done to the best quality. It seemed as if the inspector lost focus during the work. I called the company again to complain which they had the inspector call us back. The inspector didn’t show any remorse or apologize.
