Description of Work: I called for an estimate of which he came out within 2 days so I was impressed with his responsiveness but it has been almost 4 weeks and we never got an estimate or quote. If the job is too big or undesirable just say so. Don't leave clients hanging. !

Description of Work: The contractor came out and hung a door for me. He painted another interior door as well. He later fixed a leaky outdoor faucet as well. At that time I spoke with him about returning to put another coat of paint on the interior door as well as further work we agreed on. He seemed annoyed the door needed another coat of paint. When I called in November (not having heard from him) we discussed his coming back to do work around the long Thanksgiving weekend. I never heard back from him. I later found out that the interior door was hung incorrectly from another contractor.

Description of Work: Contracted to seal outside vents and cracks around doors & windows. Chris did an excellent job at reasonable rate. He even made some repairs I wasn't aware needed done. I highly recommend him and am going to use him for other projects around the house.

+ 2 moreVery well. He was unable to complete some of the projects as I had to have emergency surgery and was unable to get some of the prep work done. No problem for Chris. He told me to get myself healed and he would come back. I had new countertops put in my bathrooms and the company did not hook the water back up. One call to Chris and the next day he was here (Saturday no less) to hook up the sinks. He suggested a better water supply line than the original.
Description of Work: I had a typical "honey do" list; drapery rods, electrical, painting, putting up shelves etc. He brought his brother to do the electrical, told me up front no surprises that his brother would be in my home.

+ -1 moreWork completely satisfactory. Start date delayed but not because of contractor. Phone calls were returned and agreed upon time/date for completion were honored. I had no competing bids so I cannot make a comparison but it seemed like a fair price for the time/effort/expertise involved.
Description of Work: Repaired drywall ceiling in basement den. Three places had to be repaired because a leak developed in the refrigerator waterline and the location of the water shutoff was uncertain. This work repaired the cuts in the dry wall and the installation of an access panel so that any future need to turn off the water to the refrigerator ice maker could be facilitated. A second job was to install a storm/screen door (door provided outside the contract).

+ 0 moreChris arrived on time, was friendly, and cleaned up after himself. He took care in keeping my kitchen clean by covering the stove, laying down papers for his tools, and taking all the trash connected with the job to the dumpster for me. He is very reasonable as the place where I bought the microwave wanted $150 to deliver and install it, and Lowe's charges around $135 to do the job. Chris has also done other work for me in the past, and his work has always been good. Neighbors have called on him, too, for repairs and no jobs are too small for him to do.
Description of Work: Over-the-Range Microwave oven was installed. Plug on floor fan was replaced.
