Description of Work: Put electricity to garage & added some plugs to house. New fuse box

Description of Work: Electrician installed a junction box at a wire splice that was improperly done, replaced a breaker with a new one of the proper size, Separated out ground and neutral wires inside the main electrical box and secured an electrical recepticle to the wall.

Description of Work: I was experiencing a short in the outside lights. Whenever we turned the porch lights on the breaker would pop. I had another "certified" electrician who was an inspector for three townships. He worked on the problem off and on for a week (7 days). Although he tried hard he couldn't find the problem. And I paid him for his time also. Went to Angie's List and found Ken David Electric and gave them a try. Gene showed up and I explained the problem. He went right to work. Gene was like a bloodhound hunting down the source of the problem. Gene was very professional, kind and courteous. He worked hard. He also found some other problems and didn't try and talk me into getting them fixed. No hard sell. I told him to do what he needed to do. And he did. Gene worked on the problem for about six hours and found tucked away in a wall two wires that had shorted out and which were creating the problem. Why I didn't have a fire in the wall is a mystery to me. Anyhow, he had to cut a hole in the wall, replaced the wires and did some other things which remedied the situation. In short (no pun intended) we now have beautiful porch lights and our guests who leave our house at night no longer have to stumble to their car in the dark. They may stumble to their car but at least they have lights now. A very happy and satisfied customer. We later (within two weeks) had Gene working on another one of our houses in the Birch Run area. I would highly recommend this company.
