Description of Work: I called Brian Donnenwerth of Saginaw Valley Fence and asked him to come to my property to give me an estimate on a combination 6 foot high wooden fence with the majority of 4 foot chain-link fence. He measured the property and told me he would email me an estimate within 2-3 days. I never heard from him again. I repeatedly called his phone number and left numerous messages asking him to please get back with me with his estimate. He never returned my phone calls. I emailed him many times asking for the estimate. I never received any response from him, It was as if he fell off the face of the earth. I would NEVER recommend him for any job. His total lack of responsiveness and lack of professionalism is appalling. If for whatever reason he did not want the job, all he had to do was pick up the phone and say so. No response by a businessman to a potential client goes against everything that would define him as a professional. I would not trust him to respond once he does an initial visit.

 + -1 moreAs stated above, everything went great. I waited a few days and did not receive a bid, so I called Brian and he told me he was waiting on material costs and I could expect the bid soon. I waited a few more days and called him back, got voice mail provided my name, number, and asked for the bid. I never heard back and called him 4 more times, got voice mail, left a message, and never called back, so I gave up on Saginaw Valley Fence.
Description of Work: I needed a fence around the back yard or a portion of the back yard depending on total cost. Brian showed up on time with folders on different types of fencing. We discussed what could be used and he took the necessary measurements and told me he would get me a bid. I was impressed with him and his professionalism - until I did not get a bid.

 + -1 moreSVF was very prompt and professional. The reason we chose them for our larger project was because last Christmas eve day, we had a downed section of fence due to high winds (not originally installed by SVF). We needed it back up to protect our 2 dogs. SVF was the only one to respond that day. We offered to pay extra due to the holiday but they declined. They performed the job that day! They exceeded expectations for our recent larger fence installation at our new home. The quality of materials and and workmanship was superb; we even had two friends comment it. They worked in the rain the 1st day and finished the job the next day as they knew we were very anxious.
Description of Work: Installed 6 ft cedar stockade fence with double gate.

 + 1 moreBrian and one crew member offered to come early [before the scheduled work date] to remove old fence which had fallen over .in neighbor's backyard. Brian and two crew members arrived on scheduled date to begin setting posts in cement footing. They returned later that week to begin installing the fence and gate. If I had a question regarding the project, Brian was prompt in responding via e-mail or phone. His final price was exactly as quoted, with no add-ons or additional charges. A crew member returned for final clean up. We are totally pleased with Brian's quality, workmanship, and professionalism.
Description of Work: Tear down, removal of old fence and replace with new fence, 6 ft. tall shadowbox cedar privacy fence.
